I mean, it’s not quite like you’re popping birth control pills instead of Tic Tacs, but she really should have shaken each of those 21 tablets out of the blister pack one by one and swallowed them individually... I mean, at any single one of those steps, things could have gone sideways. It’s not like someone accidentally puts sugar in their soup instead of salt 😬
I have a quick question for the group. This might be the wrong place to ask, but I figured I’d check here before I go calling my hematologist back at the Mayo Clinic.
I just got my blood work back. It shows microcytic anemia—my hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCV, MCH, and MCHC are all running low. My RDW is higher than it should be, red blood cell count is 4.76 x 10^12, ESR is 3, and iron is sitting at 25.
We had her at home with a fever hitting about 102, and nothing—not even Tylenol or Aspirin—would touch it. My brother was actually vomiting from the heat of it all. Honestly, the only things providing any relief were cold baths and those Tylenol cooling patches.😢
There’s actually a thread over on the natural cosmetics forum about herbal teas and remedies that might offer some support. But really, the best thing is just to lie down and rest, and that’s that.😢
slydriver17 said:I don't have any TV. Clearly, that Seinfeld fellow must have lost his mind too. But then again, that's just how it goes—whether you were Lilith or Eve, it ends the same way.😁
What a load of nonsense.
It's probably a good thing you still have your wits about you, even if you don't own a television.🥳
slydriver17 said:Lilith... I don't care to get into any serious discussions about her. It's irrelevant.😁 😍 Look, if it weren't for the biological distractions of menstruation, women might actually be the most advanced species on Earth. But since you are inherently "unclean," there is this invisible barrier that stunts your progress and drags you right back down to zero. That is why you supposedly need some innocent, angelic creature—like a man—to teach you how to properly harness your intuition. But honestly, where is a woman supposed to learn that from?🤣 😍
😂 You're acting like some kind of Seinfeld wannabe.🤣
slydriver17 said:Especially when you consider the depths of the abyss. After all, it wasn't as if Eve simply reached out and grabbed an apple on a whim.😂
Forget about Eve. Lilith was the one who truly broke the rules. 🙂 Honestly, they probably would have preferred to just toss her into a corner along with everything else they wanted to suppress—menstruation, female pleasure, all of it.
Hannah Morris3 said:Why is the fake blood used in pad commercials never actually red? It's almost always blue. What's the catch? 😕
Well, since no actual bodily fluid is blue, it just feels cleaner. It’s mostly about being mindful of viewers with sensitive stomachs or kids watching TV, I suppose. ☕
This whole thing about stability really hits home for me 🙏 especially during that time of the month when everything feels heightened🤣
Honestly, a huge number of women can feel like emotional ticking time bombs during those specific days.🤣 Stability is such a rare thing then.
It’s actually pretty well known that women in postmenopause tend to be the most cooperative too. I was reading some fascinating stuff about a potential mission to Mars, and the theory was that these women would be the absolute perfect candidates for the journey. Apparently, you wouldn't have to deal with any testosterone-driven competition or that wild emotional rollercoaster caused by shifting progesterone and estrogen levels.🤔
What kind of "Third Order" movement is that now? 🤔
And which Third Order are you referring to—Franciscan? 🤔
The Neocatechumenals certainly know how to act like a "church within a church."🤔
But how does any of that relate to what's written in the Bible and how people twist the interpretation just to fit modern times, especially when it clashes with current social views?😁
Don't start an argument, don't be such a partisan.😳 😉
Three-phase power🤣
I don't remember the exact epistles😵 but let's be real—you aren't going to accept any faith that doesn't sugarcoat what's laid out in the Holy Scripture anyway.
And please, let's not sour the mood with reckless comments.🙂
I'm not looking for an argument. I really am not.😍 And besides, what are you even going to do to me?😘
bluemason3 said:Look, honey, it’s all "irrelevant" to you, including why women read during Mass even though the Bible says women should remain silent in church. Up until the last council, it wasn't just women—nobody but the priest was allowed to read the Holy Scripture.
Back then, they had explanations for why things were done that way. Today, things have changed, and most people just swallow every update as if it were divinely ordained rather than just human interpretation.😉
Christianity is regressing. Ever since leaving Israel, it has been steadily losing its edge and its moral standards. It’s drifting away from its original purity and principles just to cater to a secular, materialistic, and incompetent masses. It’s basically Christianity operating on the "better than nothing" principle.🙂
Where in the New Testament does it actually say that women should be silent?🙂
Christianity is far too massive a movement to be free of parasites... there are so many different factions within the faith itself, like the Neocatechumenal Way or the Third Order, etc. What gets served up on CNN or in news columns—usually just a snippet of some sermon or a flash of someone's ego—is merely the tip of the iceberg. We shouldn't even talk about what lies beneath the surface. Because, at the end of the day, we are supposed to be talking about menstruation.
bluemason3😘 I'm not going to argue with you. I refuse.😍
bluemason3 said:Well, I'm not sure if there are any specific rules regarding gangrene or general filth.😁
If you're asking me, I’d just ban women altogether; the whole period thing isn't even the main issue.🙂
I wouldn't want a woman cooking for me anyway; I'd prefer a reliable Brahmin. That would be much better.🙂
But that's the thing—menstruation is nothing more than an excuse.☕
Just cook for yourself.🙂 Unless this whole "tough guy" persona is just an act, why aren't you actually living by your principles and moving to India?🙂 Why bother making demands of someone who actually cares about you? And if it's all just a performance, then you're even more hypocritical than those people who claim to be all about "spirit and matter" while they refuse to share a plate with anyone else.
Fine, why don't you guys just start your own matriarchal Wiccan temples? Go ahead, summon the sun and moon, dance naked around a bonfire, and then limp back to bed with some herbal tea. No one is forcing serious spirituality on you if you just want to play pretend; we live in a free country where everyone can do whatever they want.🙂
Most people shower before entering a temple, and healthy people generally don't have accidents everywhere (or in diapers).😂
If uncleanness is purely mental, then why bother washing? Why wash clothes or bedding? And why don't you just stop cleaning up and eat directly off the table during dinner? If you're going to be a true Tantric, act like it. Stop cherry-picking pseudo-spiritual buzzwords only when it suits your convenience.😉
You completely missed the mark here.😉
And regarding the whole "impurity" thing... honestly, dental gangrene is way more disgusting than a period, and it smells much worse 😬 the second someone opens their mouth. And you can't fix that by just taking a shower. 🤣 Should we ban people like that from entering temples too?
Stigmatizing menstruation is really just an excuse to degrade women. "Oh, she's ritually unclean, yuck, yuck, yuck..." Please. Would you actually let a woman cook during those days? Wouldn't that also be considered "unclean"? 🤔
bluemason3 said:It’s more about spiritual and ritual purity than anything else.☕
Personally, I've always wondered why women would even want to go to places like that in the first place.🤔
Are you trying to get a reaction out of people here, or have you just already lost your marbles? 🤔😁
Ritual purity? Whose rules are we following? Male ones? Why should menstrual blood be considered "unclean" by default? That’s just a byproduct of living in a patriarchal society.
And if you want to talk about being "unclean," there's more biological waste leaving a woman's body every single day than you'd ever care to imagine... maybe your little sect should only admit women with eating disorders. 😉 Just a thought.
