Maybe one day, data will actually be able to track the evolution of "humanity."👍

And wouldn't it be fascinating if that kind of projection could eventually strip away these toxic personalities by filtering them through what we've constructed?
Because, let's face it, to some people, everything just boils down to primal instincts and base desires.

Honestly, I feel like a completely different person out there right now:
STIGMA CAN BE USED AS A PURGE

I think I’m having a little delusion—it feels like I’m actually chatting with psychiatrists on here. In my dreams, maybe?

Look, I’ve only just started figuring myself out lately, so don't expect me to be an expert on all the complex theories, okay?
Honestly, if there was enough time in the world for doctors to give every single patient the individual attention they deserve, wouldn't that be wonderful? Since that isn't happening, I just have my husband to lean on. 🙂

Haha, I’m on top of my game!
Yeah, I’m definitely the one.
Did you catch Magnolia?
How scandalous.
I think God really looked out for me by keeping me away from social services.
If you ask me, the absolute worst-case scenario for my life would be:
Being all alone in a massive house, having plenty of food, heat, water, and electricity...
And having a computer that actually works.🤣
Your friend probably takes lithium just like I do.

I’d love to retire, but honestly, that sounds like a total nightmare.
Maybe things will improve once the European Union settles some stuff.
Though I'll likely have to retire much sooner than the rest of the world.

Man, I had a literal lump in my throat for two hours straight.

But I get why others feel like I don't even exist to them anymore.
I actually know someone who would die for me, and they're still very much alive.
That's the first real person I've had in my life.
If that makes me what I am, then fine by me.

Besides, a lot of it comes down to personality. If that's just how you're built, no amount of craziness is going to change it—maybe a little, but your essence stays the same.😬

Ah...
That’s a tough one.

Thanks, though I actually know a couple of women from a small town in the Midwest myself.

But man, the way they treat me... it’s just too much.
And then when you actually run into them, you have to act all nice because I’m the one with the professional reputation to uphold, while they don't have anything to lose.

I remember one time this "friend" wouldn't even let me into her house because she said she just wanted her peace and quiet.
And there I was, feeling completely left out, and I vividly remember it was Thanksgiving that year.

Lately, I’ve just been keeping my mouth shut more and more, because if I speak up, I'll just be labeled as the problem again...
It's really just my brother and my husband left. And honestly, that's plenty.😘 😘

I’d say I’m sitting pretty at a solid 3. How about you?

I just remembered something one lady told me once: my doctor didn't suggest antidepressants to cloud my vision, but rather to help me navigate reality a little more easily. WOW

I don't have an answer for that.

Hi there, I'm briskgull27
Back in 1996, I was diagnosed with F20
Then in 2000, it became F25 alongside the first diagnosis
I've honestly tried just about every antipsychotic and alternative therapy out there.
Right now, my regimen includes lithium, Lexapro, and Norvasc.
My brother is my world, followed closely by my husband.
My dad and grandma are still around too, but I struggle to connect with them
because they treat me differently because of my condition.
My healthy husband sees exactly what I mean.
... George: It’s true... I really do try my best to make up for it all, and I hope I’m succeeding to some degree 😉

Okay
That's just how he is
I don't particularly care for this world we live in
I have zero desire to compete with everyone else just to stack up more money.
And I don't want children; I'd rather let another woman bring those souls into the world.
I prefer to spend my time dreaming.
I can't stand loud noises, I don't smoke, and I don't drink at all.
I'm not even a fan of juice.
But I do love my coffee.
PEOPLE TERRIFY ME.

Part of me wishes God would just send cancer or maybe a car accident my way.
If there were legal euthanasia laws here, I'd try to convince my husband to agree, but he'd probably try to whisk me away to the moon instead.
Maybe he'd listen if I explained that things won't actually get better than they are right now
but he’s always convinced that they will.
I'm sorry, but the truth is, I don't want to live.

thanks so much
regarding the snake thing, that's just such a classic example
but this specific case is definitely 🙂

So, a good friend of mine dropped by the other day and told me she’s getting a divorce. When I first arrived at her place, everything seemed perfectly fine—and honestly, she’s such an amazing, easygoing person to talk to anyway.😉

Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue.😬

neongull592 said:But you realize from time to time that those are just hallucinations, right? Look... she isn't even aware that she's sick. She thinks everything is perfectly fine and that everyone around her is just seeing things. She actually attacked her own child simply because the little girl wouldn't tell her which guy her dad was dating... which I shouldn't even mention, since he wasn't actually seeing anyone. She literally lashed out at her...

Actually, no—I have schizoaffective disorder, manic type, which explains why I’m always so upbeat.
Back when I was dealing with schizophrenia from 1996 to 2000, I used to convince myself some guy was in love with me when he really wasn't.
And I would get physically attracted to other people during those times too.
From 2000 until now, I’ve been obsessed with the fact that this one male model didn't want me.
The difference is, I know I'm ill, because I'm the one sitting here writing all of this.
Is that understood?
Besides, my dad used to hit me when I was little, and my grandma did too, not to mention my friends... I don't even know.
Do you really think she's ready for a psychiatric ward?
So, yes, I am sick, but
my family has money, so I'm taken care of.
I don't have any kids.
I don't work either, since I struggle with social etiquette and don't really know how to behave around people.

On the bright side, the fact that she expressed jealousy is actually a good sign, since people with schizophrenia often lack emotional depth.

What kind of hallucinations are we talking about?
Schizophrenia - General Discussion in Psychology & Therapy ·
What hallucinations?😁 My bad. I meant they run parallel.
And it’s not like I’ve been their puppet for seven years straight.
Actually, my advice to a friend would be to take a little medication on a regular basis so she can stay vibrant, try everything, keep up with all her activities, and understand that F20 is just the code for paranoid schizophrenia. 🙂 🥳 ☕

I honestly feel such peace when I'm visiting Lourdes; there’s something about those early morning stops, almost like being on Mount Olive.
But if I'm being real, life hasn't exactly inspired me to crave eternity just yet. Why would I want this to go on forever? Life can be such a struggle sometimes.
I find myself leaning toward Buddhist ideas lately—maybe because the thought of reincarnating into a different body actually sounds appealing.
And when it comes to dealing with all the other eccentric personalities out there, you really just have to meet them halfway. There's no other way to handle it.
There truly isn't.
No other way at all.
Besides, I usually trust my holistic practitioners more than actual doctors. To me, doctors act just like Jehovah's Witnesses—they just hand out their little individual doses and move on.
Honestly, I just hope God grants me some lithium.😬 🙄 🙄 🤣

If you think it’s funny, well, I guess you could say I have a split personality—but not quite the cinematic kind you see in Hollywood.
My whole persona shifts about five times every single day.
It’s a heavy thing for all of us to carry, isn't it?😁 😁 😁

Honestly, I've been doing some serious thinking about my plans.
I could end up wearing a straightjacket, though I suppose I already am.
I could just stay cooped up at home surrounded by all my gadgets.
Or I could let myself gain a few extra pounds.
And why should I bother running around just to worry about someone else? No thanks...
Maybe I should focus on exercising to stop running away from myself.
Because those miles don't actually mean anything.

Oh, I bet you guys are curious about this crazy straitjacket
You probably think it's just like something out of a movie, but sometimes they tie you up just like Jesus.
The hardest parts are the thirst and having to go to the bathroom.
Once they finally untie you, you can grab some water and take care of business.
