It’s only through "reward vs. punishment" parenting that they learn what’s expected of them, or how to actually function in a society where other people have needs that don't revolve around them. Though, for some people, even that doesn't work...
isn't that just called development? 😁

It's all right there in the text👍
Environment shapes a person way more than genes ever could... DNA might just make someone more prone to certain behaviors, but it doesn't dictate them automatically
invested in real estate 👍
I checked... and I was right ☕
You're probably doing this the wrong way😁
You running any ad blockers?

depends on which kind you're eating... baking chocolate should have the right effect 😬
typing with just one hand here 😢
Takes me four hours to crank out a 10,000-character post and then the server glitches on me...

I can only fit 10,000 characters in one post, so I might as well not bother...😢
Right now my only issue is with the Project Managers 🤔
My old man and I used to clash constantly because we’re cut from the same cloth—stubborn, prideful, and just plain difficult 😁. Another huge factor was this deep-seated insecurity he carried... don't know if it was some weird alpha male complex or whatever the hell, but we just couldn't see eye to eye.
I’m not really a fighter by nature, so once I got tired of the constant bickering, I just took the path of least resistance. I stopped arguing, stopped listening, and eventually, we barely spoke beyond a polite "morning" or "goodnight."
Obviously, that didn't actually fix anything... the only thing that truly mended our relationship was moving out. Turns out, having some distance is the only way we can actually get along.😁
I know he’s always loved me, and he still does... we just don't work as a team...

My grandma told me the exact same thing once...🤔

You're probably right 😉
She finally worked up the nerve a few days ago and asked if my memory of it was accurate... 🙂
