We went way too hard at the office... I actually made a smart move and cut myself off once my stomach started acting up toward the end of the night, so I was already halfway sober by the time we had to head out.

She hopped on the train with me, so we stumbled our way to the station together. I sat her down on a bench because she couldn't stay on her feet, and we just waited for the train. Suddenly, she looked pale—I knew she was going to be sick, and we were standing on this brightly lit platform packed with people. I didn't want her to be humiliated in front of everyone.

I quickly pulled my backpack off, emptied everything out of it, and held the bag open so she could use it to get sick.

Anyway, she ended up sitting in my lap on the ride home; she’d vomit into the backpack whenever she felt the urge; I wiped her face with a tissue; I took her from the station to her place in a taxi and then headed home on my own.

The next day, she didn't remember a single thing. 😂

He was just talking about something that happened recently 😉 Take off those dark glasses and actually look at the world around you 🙂

I don't feel like reading all that, but I already disagree with half of what was said... or let me put it better—I disagree with how it was presented. We know a thing or two about psychopathy, and it's a lot more complicated than that 😉

People are too lazy or too dim to care about anything that happened before they were born. How would guys like David Beckham or Justin Timberlake even make the cut when you had legends like Errol Flynn, John Wayne, Rudolph Valentino, Clark Gable, Spencer Tracy, Douglas Fairbanks, Cary Grant, Gary Cooper, Humphrey Bogart, Lauren Bacall, Veronica Lake, James Mason, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, James Stewart, or Marlon Brando in the same century...

What about James Cagney?... or Mickey Rooney?

Sean Connery 👍

but back in the day 😉 his younger version wasn't really my thing...

Gaudrath said:How do you send someone energy? I’m not trying to get all mystical on you... but what Pesica is saying is actually spot on. And it doesn't have to be an email. It could be a call, a text, maybe even a letter if you aren't in a rush. Positive energy is just positive thought. The easiest way to refill someone's "tank" is simply letting them know they're on your mind and that you're rooting for them. No need for deep philosophy; pretty much anyone can do it. That's my take on it.

I'd basically agree with this... 😉

What if we focused more on the power sources instead of the consumers? If you stay "full" by knowing how to recharge—through music, a good book, spring weather, or a kiss—then nobody can touch you...

Why does the noble Gaudrath claim to be a volcano of energy? Because he's sitting right on top of the source. Find your own fuel and plug in. Just don't do it by being a leech... 😉

Carol Roberts77,

Feeling like you want to end it all?

Yeah? -> Maybe things aren't actually that bad. Find something to cheer you up.

Maybe? -> You're overthinking it... bad sign... something's wrong.

No? -> That's deep depression... find a specialist.
