You can snag tickets at the cinema right by the Mississippi (the local college dorm area) for just $3.25. 🙂
Regarding all this talk about cinemas shutting down... honestly, if they aren't bringing in the cash, how on earth are they supposed to maintain the buildings, let alone everything else?
Personally, when I'm in a massive rush, I don't even bother checking out other theaters—I head straight to the AMC Theatres website because I know for a fact they'll have something that actually fits my schedule. They've got plenty of showtimes, a solid variety of movies, and the auditoriums (especially number 11 🙂) are actually pretty decent.
Honestly, it wasn’t even that great 🙂 I caught it in theaters too, and while there were definitely some fun moments, I don't think it's one of those movies that's going to stick with me for more than a week...
But oh my god, I was absolutely dying laughing during that hair removal scene!!! I swear, I don't think I've ever heard him swear quite that much in his life.
So there I was, heading to this exclusive little sneak preview, gathering about ten people together. We’re all sitting there, feeling good, settling in with our buckets of popcorn, and then suddenly SAW starts playing. It was pure chaos—popcorn went flying everywhere, mostly aimed right at me! I honestly think I’ll just watch Saw II by myself.
👋
p.s. The trailer isn't exactly a masterpiece or anything, but it feels like it was designed specifically for the people who already saw the first one and don't need a massive setup to get into the headspace. 😉
I’ve got this obsessive thing about symmetry, and honestly, if everything isn't perfectly, surgically tidy around me, I can't even begin to focus on studying or getting a single productive thing done... though, looking back, I find the whole ritual kind of hilarious. It doesn't really bother me, per se, but let's be real—it's a massive time sink.
The one time I actually spiraled was over some stupid door—I couldn't tell if I'd actually shut it or not—but I just had to stop myself and say: "Look, you locked it. Just move on." And then I actually managed to walk away in peace.
