Why was the thread about free speech and discrimination locked? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Jeffrey Adams said:Nah, but it's pretty wild when you think about it—she’s basically the only politician (if you count the Mayor of Washington, D.C.) actually footing the bill for this whole forum.

ionetrucker4 is constantly leaning on her rhetoric, which is why I brought her up—and honestly, the fact that she’s the sponsor isn't even some secret, it's publicly available info right there on the site's own pages.

Look, that's not even the point.
Anyone can throw money at a forum if they feel like it.

What actually matters to us is this:

1. Is the content here actually any good?
2. How much traffic is this thing actually pulling?
3. What's the actual endgame for the forum?
Why was the thread about free speech and discrimination locked? in Feedback & Suggestions ·
Jeffrey Adams said:I’m with you 100%. But honestly, it feels like there are these "higher interests" at play keeping lonetrucker4 under the thumb of the owners—even though, logically speaking, any owner would want to get rid of crappy "employees" who everyone else on the forum can't stand.
When ideology gets involved, common sense and logic just fly out the window. And it looks like that's exactly the catch here—losing a major financier like Vesna Pusić is apparently seen as unacceptable and unforgivable.

Look, lonetrucker4 is a great forum member... no doubt about that.
He knows his history inside and out.
But I don't think he really knows how to handle the actual power he has as a moderator.
Anything that sticks out, he just cuts it down..

And I'm not a fan of how he drives people away.
He's gonna drain the PDF dry, and then it's game over.

P.S. Vesna Pusić isn't what we're talking about here.

Christian Myers said:A ton of people chimed in on that thread, and honestly? I don't think we should've just shut it down. Instead, we should have turned it into a massive discussion about where the History sub is headed—both now and in the future. I mean, isn't it in everyone's best interest to fix this place up, move things forward, and actually tackle the issues head-on? We shouldn't be acting like politicians, sweeping everything under the rug and then acting shocked when things blow up in our faces (which, let's face it, is exactly what happens when the History sub ends up being nothing but moderator Oštrić).

I’m right there with you on this one.
We really need to find the backbone to actually talk about the friction points in how we interact with each other.
The thing is, Oštrić has set these insanely high bars that he claims only he can clear.
And frankly, that's just not fair to anyone else.
It makes you wonder: how are we even supposed to know what's considered "acceptable" content if we don't know what everyone else is thinking?
Constant pressure and feeling like you're walking on eggshells aren't exactly great for a community, yet that's pretty much the vibe dominating the History sub right now.

It’s not exactly groundbreaking news that threads involving lonetrucker4 keep getting shut down.
The admin team already knows exactly why this keeps happening, and frankly, they don't owe anyone an explanation for their reasoning.

Look, I'm just saying we all have a common goal here.
The survival of this forum.
Which basically means keeping the conversation flowing and making sure this platform doesn't turn into a total dumpster fire.
But let's be real—there's a massive imbalance going on between the regular users and lonetrucker4, especially since people are feeling like there's this constant wave of targeted bans and sanctions coming from his direction.

We really should be trying to settle these disputes through actual discussion. A moderator's authority should matter, sure, but only if there's some mutual respect involved in the equation.
There’s absolutely no point in stirring up bitterness or fueling this unnecessary hostility.

So, I’m putting it out there—I’m asking Nice to just leave the thread open.
That’s what makes a forum actually work.
Our differences are exactly what make us stronger as a community.

Go talk to your bosses.
Nice try, though.

How many users have actually bailed on this PDF history of our colleagues... you got any kind of estimate?
I mean.. since like 2018..
bluecyclist64 said:Persecuting the masses of this forum...🤣

If you're looking for the "masses," go hang out in the chat rooms or those threads about soap operas, pop music, or horoscopes. That's where they live.

Alright, my bad—I used the wrong word when I said "masses"...
But hold on a second while I break this down for you...
The "masses"...
I mean literally, the sheer volume of people..
By my math, we’ve had maybe 150 active or semi-active members over the last 12 months..
And out of that number, we’ve got maybe ten people actually showing up today. And of those ten, You, Al Dent, and lonetrucker4 are always glued together—same stance, same opinion, same thesis, same interpretation, same... everything else.

bluecyclist64 said:On sub-forums like History, Social Science, Natural Science, and the like, you don't need "masses." You just need two types of posters: people who know stuff and people who want to learn something. And honestly, those two roles aren't mutually exclusive.

Okay, fair enough. Your take is that the forum doesn't need traffic—that there's no need for a network of individuals acting freely, without being shackled by laws and regulations that tend to stifle free thought and speech.

Basically, your stance is that the forum shouldn't have people.
My stance? A forum without people is pointless.
bluecyclist64 said:Why don't you just head over to Alternative and make up all the resistance movements you want there? On the History board, you're just unnecessarily exhausting yourself and everyone else.

I'm not making things up... I'm trying to explain it to you.
I research, I track, I hunt, I ask, I dig.
I inquire, I read, I compare, I analyze, etc.

Why is it so damn hard to grasp that history is a living organism?
That the shifts within it depend on certain biases?
And that just because something isn't written down or officially confirmed, it doesn't mean it can't be mentioned?
I don't get you—how is it not exhausting for you to just repeat the same thing over and over without ever questioning or scrutinizing anything?
And why do you feel the need to push your own opinion as if it's the one and only absolute truth?
You've got a blog, so why not use that as an outlet for your mind instead?
Christian Myers said:lonetrucker4 is a terrible moderator. I still remember how he completely trashed that thread about Vukovar—he just let some troll lie through their teeth, even when other users were shutting them down with actual facts and logic. And instead of stepping in, he just kept pushing his own conspiracy theories, basically giving the guy a free pass.

Look, lonetrucker4 is actually a brilliant poster... seriously, the guy has this massive body of work ranging from deep dives to just general curiosity.
But as a moderator? He’s totally lost. He’s gotten way too wrapped up in his own personal biases.
At the end of the day, I can stay quiet, but this whole thing where he hunts down regular users makes zero sense...
Who am I even supposed to debate with if he drives everyone else away?
Arthur Smith15 said:The issue is just that you're "pouring energy" into writing stuff that belongs over on Alternative rather than here in History. I don't know what the hell you're waiting for—over there, nobody's going to slap your wrists for making up historical terms, creatively butchering quotes from texts, or being stingy with references and all that. 😁 You're busting your gut in History when Alternative is where your promised land awaits...

Thanks for the comment...
You hit the nail on the head... I am pouring energy into this. That’s just what we do—everyone who actually views history as a vital field of knowledge does it, especially here on this forum, where history shouldn't be as rigid as some stuffy academic textbook. Instead, it should follow the core logic of this forum—free debate fueled by an endless supply of theories and people hanging out to talk about the same damn topic.

Alternative would be if I were pushing the idea that aliens have been pulling the strings throughout history, but I'm not exactly an expert at that, so I'll stick to standard history.
But hey, thanks for reminding me of one specific thing.
See, in a book about Nikola Tesla, it literally states his idea that he offered lasers to the Government of Yugoslavia, which could have been positioned on high ground across Yugoslavia to wipe out German tanks...
If modern folks couldn't wrap their heads around what Nikola was talking about back then, they'd understand him even less now.
And look... that isn't my own invention; it’s written right there. Go check it yourself, please.
But the kicker is that lonetrucker4 shut that down immediately.
Because apparently, if he hasn't read it himself, it simply doesn't exist.

And since you asked, I'm happy to answer.
Those quotes I supposedly "twisted" or "misinterpreted"—I've gone into detail explaining them more than once.
They aren't wrong quotes; they're the result of censorship that's been around since 1945.
And let's get one thing straight right now: I am not some far-right revisionist, a hardline nationalist, or some radical extremist, nor would it ever cross my mind to try and deny the crimes committed by those groups.
It's not even on my radar.
I'm just stating that the Communists went way too far during their rule, and in doing so, they actually damaged the very legacy of the resistance movement they helped create.
So, I tell lonetrucker4 that my historical search is really about finding all the free anti-fascists, the democrats, the liberals, the patriots, and the free spirits who weren't tied to any single ideology, yet still took up arms against the mortal threat of Nazism—and he tells me that those people don't exist, and never will.

Sad, isn't it?

We seriously need more mods over in the History sub-forum—like, at least three of them.

There’s absolutely no question about it.
History is a massive, complicated beast of a section.
Anyone who actually spends their time digging through archives, reading up, and obsessing over historical facts has this deep, almost spiritual connection to the subject—it’s basically half hard science and half trying to make sense of the absolute chaos of the universe.
Sure, you need standards to keep things professional, but the whole point of a forum is to have these free-flowing, open debates about the controversial stuff.
At least, that’s how I thought it worked, until lonetrucker4 took over.
He’s tightened the reins way too much—just suffocating everything. People are losing the will to even participate, and if things keep going this way, everyone’s just going to end up talking to themselves in an empty room...
And honestly? I really don't want to see that happen.

That’s why having three moderators in History is a necessity. It would help kill off that gatekeeping and totalitarian vibe, which is hands down the worst enemy of what this forum is supposed to be about.
Jeffrey Adams said:Yeah, that’s a fair question, but honestly, only Anderlon knows the answer—and he’s still staying silent.

Look, Anderlon doesn't owe anyone an explanation.
He owns the place, so he can do whatever he damn well pleases.
It’s kind of ironic how people on Reddit pour all this energy into stuff that just ends up blowing up in their own faces.
Obviously, having some order on a busy platform makes sense—it has to.

And sure, you need moderators acting as part of the site's architecture just to keep the whole structure from collapsing.

But at the same time, users should be called upon to help maintain and actually improve the quality of the community.
If someone is actively working against the grain, they should be called out, but ultimately, it's up to the admins and the owner to decide what kind of vibe this site is going to have.
Jeffrey Adams said:Anderlon is playing the innocent bystander here—acting like all this drama surrounding Zoran doesn't touch him. He thinks he can just ride this out, wait for the storm to pass, and then go right back to business as usual. But let’s be real: Oštrić has, to put it bluntly, absolutely shat the bed on multiple fronts. He’s acting on whims, being insulting, discriminating against people, and basically forcing his specific ideological and political worldview down everyone's throats. In short, he’s behaving like some kind of dictator who thinks he’s untouchable, like he's above the law and we're all just his subjects.
The truth is, the responsibility falls on Erik as the director, and on the admins too, who aren't even reacting to complaints and seem perfectly happy with moderator explanations that don't hold any water at all.
I get it, I really do—it's not easy for them either, they have to stick together as a group, but still, when you're dealing with blatant, documented insults, you've gotta take action. Not everyone is going to be like boldbadger1, just bowing their head and submitting to a dictatorship.

We kicked the British out over two centuries ago, yet somehow we're still struggling to shake off certain old-school habits, even while we preach about democracy and tolerance. The whole point of tolerance isn't about being nice to people who agree with you; it's about how you treat the ones who think differently.

If Zoran Oštrić is working directly against the interests of this site, why on earth would the owner, Anderlon, just sit there and tolerate it?
lonebadger6 said:Reddit is privately owned—period. The owner picks the moderators, and hey, you can think they’re all absolute morons if you want, but that doesn't mean anything when it comes to your "human rights" or any legal declarations. Anderlon could decide tomorrow that anyone using the letter F is getting nuked, or just ban every username with capital letters, and there isn't a single law in the book that can stop him.

Spot on.
Total truth right there.
Anderlon is the owner.
This whole thing is his private property.
Nobody is questioning that, disputing it, or even trying to argue against it.

But here's the thing.
The people on this forum are part of that world.
We're the ones creating the content.
All of us are chipping away at building something that actually connects us.
We put a piece of ourselves into this platform—and look, we aren't trying to be enemies or opponents of the site.
We actually *want* to be here and be an integral part of this community.

So why the hostile attitude toward the users?
I get that mods are doing their best, but since when is constructive criticism off-limits? Isn't that supposed to be in the interest of making the forum better?
Look, I realize being a mod is a massive responsibility and nobody can be perfect all the time... definitely not.
But the whole point of a forum is to bring people together.
When one moderator does the exact opposite, it’s the users' job to call it out.
That's our responsibility and our loyalty to the forum itself.
And ultimately, that's our loyalty to the owner, Anderlon.
I mean, honestly? I can’t even deal with some of the stuff being said lately. It’s like people just lose their minds when they start talking about history—or what they *think* is history. Every time I jump into these threads, I feel like I need a drink just to process the sheer level of nonsense flying around. It's exhausting, really. Just constant, loud-mouthed opinions from people who wouldn't know a real historical fact if it hit them in the face. I’m sitting here trying to make sense of it all, and I just end up feeling like I'm shouting into a void filled with nothing but noise. It’s ridiculous. kaže:
Cut the nonsense. Seriously. It’s not like anyone’s actually stopping you from calling it that—and nobody’s gone out of their way to declare it a fake, either.

Look, someone seriously needs to talk some sense into Oštrić and convince him to dial back the terror—it’s getting out of hand.
I can't even begin to explain how much this whole situation gets under my skin—it’s honestly exhausting just thinking about it. I swear, sometimes I feel like I'm shouting into a void while everyone else just nods along like nothing's wrong. It’s that specific kind of frustration where you know exactly what the problem is, but trying to point it out feels like trying to explain color to someone who refuses to open their eyes. Just... ugh. Anyway, I'm rambling. Let me get back to the actual point before I go off on another one of my tangents. kaže:
Who the hell is calling the US Armed Forces fascists? Are you kidding me right now? Seriously, give me a break. Does anyone actually even know the difference between those old-school extremists and the Paramilitary militia back in the day? Get it together, man.
Look, all those other ridiculous nonsense theories were settled ages ago—everyone else seems to get it perfectly fine, except for you.
I mean, talk about pure terror—it’s when you can't even bring yourself to type out "Yugoslavia" or call it the "US Army" without feeling like you're losing your mind.🤦

You’ve got a way with words, I'll give you that... pretty interesting stuff.
Look, I’m telling you... you don't just go around calling those fascists the US Armed Forces. That’s a huge distinction. You aren't doing that, and honestly, you shouldn't.
Someone’s out there making moves... and honestly? Don't go coming for them. Just let them live their life.
I mean, honestly, what are we even doing here? It’s just one thing after another with this crowd. Every time I think we’ve hit rock bottom with the sheer level of nonsense being peddled, someone finds a way to dig a little deeper. It’s exhausting, really—like trying to explain basic common sense to a brick wall while everyone else is busy cheering for the wall. I’m sitting here, staring at my screen, just shaking my head at the absolute state of things. We’re circling the drain, folks, and half the people on this board seem to be handing out the straws. It’s ridiculous. Just... ridiculous. kaže:
Look, there are plenty of us hanging out over on the Alternative subforum, so don't hold back—feel free to go wild and write whatever fairy tales you want over there.

Thanks for the heads-up...👍
Look, if I walk away now, Oštrić is just going to absolutely wreck that PDF. History is gonna be totally trashed.
I don't even know where to start with this one—it’s just one of those things that gets under my skin every single time it comes up. Honestly, I’m sitting here trying to process how we even got to this point, and it’s just infuriating. It feels like everyone is just circling the drain, ignoring the actual core of the issue because it’s easier to just vent or stay silent. I mean, look at the way things are being handled lately. It's messy, it's disorganized, and frankly, it's insulting to anyone who actually gives a damn about getting things right. You see people acting like everything is fine when the whole foundation is shaking, and you just want to scream, right? It's that classic case of people choosing the path of least resistance instead of actually doing the heavy lifting required to fix the mess. And don't even get me started on the excuses. There’s always some half-baked justification for why things aren't working, as if "we tried" is some kind of valid substitute for actually succeeding. It’s exhausting. I’m over it. I really am. We need more than just empty talk and finger-pointing; we need actual substance, but I guess that's asking too much from most people these days. Just my two cents, though—probably just me being a hothead again. kaže:
So, you’re actually sitting there trying to offer him some kind of partnership model? Seriously? I mean, look, I get it—you’re probably thinking you can play nice and find some middle ground—but honestly, it feels like a total waste of breath at this point. You're basically walking into a lion's den with a handful of treats and expecting it to shake hands. It's just... man, it's frustrating to watch.🤣

And on behalf of the forum, for Christ's sake...🤣

And who exactly gave you the authority to speak for this entire forum, you absolute megalomaniac?

Seriously, who gave Oštrić the authority to turn this entire forum into some kind of private shouting match? And who exactly gave you the right to play his personal defense attorney?
I don't even know where to start with this one—honestly, my head is spinning just thinking about it. It’s like we’re all walking around in this collective fog, pretending everything is fine while the whole foundation is basically crumbling under our feet. You look at the way things are being handled lately, and it’s just... it's exhausting. I'm sitting here trying to make sense of the madness, but it feels like every time I get close to an answer, someone moves the goalposts or changes the rules of the game entirely. It's that classic, frustrating cycle, isn't it? We see the cracks forming, we point them out—sometimes screaming about them until our throats are sore—and what do we get? Silence. Or worse, some condescending lecture from people who clearly haven't spent a single second dealing with the actual fallout on the ground. It’s enough to make you want to just throw your hands up and walk away, but then you realize there’s nowhere else to go. We're stuck in this loop, staring at the wreckage and waiting for a solution that feels more like a myth every passing day. Just a total mess, really. A complete and utter disaster. kaže:
If you’re looking for pure fairy tales and urban legends, I’d honestly suggest digging through the Alternative PDF—or better yet, just go check out Stormfront.

Honestly? You need a glass of ice water and a reality check.
Frank Lee said:It would actually make sense if people who were living through 1941-1945 were the ones commenting on these events. History is already written—trying to deny everything that was gained by fighting against fascism during those years is basically just picking the side of the fascists.
To moderator lonetrucker4 👍

Hey, Emily Myers8, can I just ask what you actually meant by that?
Look, this isn't about lonetrucker4 acting like he’s the official guardian of the Resistance legacy.
At the end of the day, I stand with the Resistance too, but I don't think we should kick everyone else out for having a different take.
You've gotta let this forum be a place for different perspectives, not just a megaphone for one single "truth."
Don't get me wrong—I'm not claiming everything in the old Yugoslavia-era textbooks is some big lie.
No way.
What I am saying is that we need to acknowledge there was another side to things that wasn't allowed to be heard back then.
It’s high time we finally have an open, free debate without all the gatekeeping.

Please, just be fair for a second—how many threads have you actually started yourself..?
Sam Alvarez4 said:@I’ve gotta take my hat off to lonetrucker4 for his sheer patience—seriously, man. You really need a saint's level of composure to deal with these creative little reinterpretations and those "quotes" some people try to shove down our throats as if they were actually credible sources. It's honestly exhausting.

You gotta tip your hat to lonetrucker4 when it comes to being smart—seriously, the guy knows his stuff—but don't you dare let him get away with how he's running this moderation.
Look, just try to actually help him out for once instead of lying to his face and telling him he’s doing a great job.
lonetrucker4 said:Nah. Look, you’ve been given a way to just post normally on the History PDF without getting hit with any sanctions. It’s pretty straightforward. If those terms don't work for you, then too bad.

At the end of the day, these are *your* rules. That's all there is to it. It's your call, your choice, and your own judgment call.
It has absolutely nothing to do with the actual forum rules.
lonetrucker4 said:If you're looking to share your creations, just look for the threads tagged with the NBA acronym.

Look, you can spin whatever theories you want, you can cook up all the little arguments and talking points to suit your narrative—but you can't just manufacture facts out of thin air. Facts are what they are. You can try to dance around them all you want, but at the end of the day, reality doesn't care about your little thesis.

Look, I’m not exactly a huge fan of how people categorize the NBA—honestly, I think it can be a bit reductive—but I get it. I really do. If you look at it from a certain angle, those kinds of classifications and projections could actually be a decent way to help mainstream audiences get more into the history of the game. It's a way to make the past feel a little more accessible, even if it bugs me sometimes.
So, I guess that's all there is to it—I’m sending my best to the rest of you.

When I’m talking about being creative with how we label things—I mean really getting technical—you could just as easily call him Mr. Josip Broz Tito.
Look, the reason this bothers you is pretty simple—you’ve been fed a specific version of history since 1945, and that's exactly how the literature was built to work. It’s all baked into the textbooks.
Look, if it doesn't have the official name attached to it, then it's a total fake in my book—so yeah, for you, it’s a counterfeit.
The same thing could be said about the Nazis that some people try to rebrand as the US Army or those paramilitary groups back in '44.
But hey, you can't exactly say that—not if you want to stay on the good side of the official history books they used back in the Yugoslavia days...
So, you’re labeling everyone as Chetniks too? Honestly, that’s such a lazy way to look at things—you’re acting like they were some monolith, when even they were split up into different factions like the JVUO or the JKVO after '43 or '44. It’s not that simple, man. You have to actually look at when the NGNO starts transitioning into the NOVJ... you can't just throw everyone into one bucket and call it a day.

The way you push this narrow-minded version of history basically shuts down anyone else trying to dig up a different perspective on what actually went down between '41 and '45. You’re essentially making it impossible for anyone to even comment without getting shut down—it's like you're trying to police how people view the war.
Man, you really think you've gone and privatized this whole damn forum, don't you?
Even if everyone else stays stuck on his side, you and Mr. Al Dente aren't going to change the way this place is moderated.

Look, I get it—you went way too far with those restrictions you put on yourself, and now you're just standing there completely lost, having no clue how to actually fix the mess you've made.
Look, I’m throwing a different kind of partnership out there because—even though you’re incredibly gatekeepy with how you handle moderation—you’re honestly an absolute beast when it comes to historical deep dives.

Look, let's talk about these damn restrictions... honestly, it’s getting ridiculous at this point.
Seriously, just stop deleting stuff already.
Just drop the sanctions already. Seriously.
Look, just open things up already. Seriously. Stop gatekeeping and let people actually get access to what they need—liberalize the whole damn thing.

On behalf of the forum.
lonetrucker4 said:Yeah.

No.

Look, just make up your mind... Was the academic John Doe a Nazi or not?
I’m just trying to figure out how to act here since I never know what’s allowed to be posted anymore—basically, what you're gonna go ahead and delete next..
You see, people actually put effort into their posts, and then you just come in and nukes everything because you've decided you're the sole arbiter of what's "allowed."
And when it comes to making those calls, it's just you.. Which is pretty wild, considering you're clearly the only moderator around here.
If there were more of you, maybe this whole "my way or the highway" attitude wouldn't feel so incredibly arrogant.
lonetrucker4 said:It wasn't even a quote. I wiped the whole post because you turned things into a total mess with your "creative retelling," basically twisting whatever Velebit actually wrote.

I’m not saying you’re lying, lonetrucker4, but you aren't telling the truth either..
You just cherry-pick whatever bits and pieces fit your specific narrative. You can't stand any perspective that differs from yours, probably because you can't stomach anyone questioning the ideology you've got baked into your soul..
Let me ask you: if you're such an expert on history, why are you so afraid of it? Do you honestly think you can just stop the clock?
Yugoslavia had its pros and its cons. It's gone now. Move on.
Just let people write freely. Let people be creative. Don't kill an idea just because you haven't read about it, heard about it, or given it enough thought.
Let this forum actually be a forum.
We aren't some stuffy academic circle. This isn't a PhD program; it's a place for discussion.. Everyone has the right to interpret history however they want, which is exactly why debates exist—to challenge theories and tear down fabrications.
Instead, you just delete everything, gripping the reins of every single word and refusing to back down from your own exaggerations.
lonetrucker4 said:I'd love to see a source for this claim that the Communist Party "interpreted" Vladimir Velebit as a traitor. I've never heard that before.

Now, that's a damn good question..
Please, answer me this: once you've actually read a book or studied the material—once you've connected the dots, compared facts, and really chewed on what you've learned—don't you think it's logical to form your own opinion?
History itself is often judged by authors with ideological biases, so we have to hunt for the truth like we're looking for a needle in a haystack..

At the end of the day, just imagine..
Your philosophy is that nobody is ever allowed to write anything unless they have a direct source for it.. Just imagine living like that.
You're essentially banning thought.

You've gone way too far, lonetrucker4.
Please, man, try to find some balance.

If someone writes something that doesn't align with the standard historical record or the official literature from Yugoslavia and the censorship of the Communist Party, don't just hit delete.
Let this thread breathe. Let the community have a real public debate where ideas actually clash and arguments get torn apart.
It’ll be a hell of a welcome for the new folks coming in—they'll see some genuine, official, and alternative perspectives all in one place.

Go after the trolls and the people being outright disrespectful.
But everything else? Just let it ride, lonetrucker4... just let it live.
So, lonetrucker4, you actually went ahead and nuked my post where I was quoting academic John Doe—you know, the guy who laid out his actual stance, which you're now twisting with this total pseudo-fascist revisionism?!
Are you seriously deciding that the late academic was some kind of Nazi?

I distinctly remember you scrubbing the Vladimir Velebit quote too...
What’s his deal in your book, other than the fact that he dared to criticize the Yugoslavia system and the Communist Party?
Is he also forbidden from being mentioned on this forum unless he's framed as a traitor, just like the Communist Party used to spin him?

I honestly don't get these "purges" of yours... What exactly do you think you'll achieve when everyone is forced to interpret history exactly how you think it should be?
Why don't you just start a blog instead?
Let the forum live—let it be a place for meeting up, exchanging ideas, debating, and actually hanging out.

You're stubbornly trying to force everyone into these rigid little boxes and you're killing the whole point of this place.
Instead of an actual discussion, all we've got is your personal censorship.

Seriously, with all the knowledge you claim to have, what are you so afraid of? Why all this heavy-handed oversight and constant sanctions?!
