Headaches after washing my hair? in Health ·
Every single type of inflammation you can find on your head:

Sinus infections, middle ear infections, and honestly, the list goes on forever...

Having wet, long, thick hair can definitely play a part in making those sensitive spots on your scalp feel even more intense, don't you think?

Inflammation means bacteria are present[/B...

I mean, if we're talking about muscle inflammation, shouldn't we be checking for a bacterial infection too?😉

Hey, have you guys checked out what’s being said here about those headaches popping up right after washing your hair? Even if the article mentions it was originally noted by a doctor in the USA, does that really make the info any less useful for us?

Rachel Brooks63 said:So, she gets migraines just because she didn't blow-dry her hair? Is that really what the doctors told her, like, they actually sat her down and gave her a formal diagnosis based on that?

Yeah.

By the way, "brain fog"? Is that just some new medical term they're throwing around now?
I mean, look, I try my best to keep an open mind on this sub and let all kinds of advice and opinions fly, but honestly? I just absolutely had to weigh in on this one. 🙂

Look, Jose Miller3, not everyone on this forum is from right here in the States—can't you tell by the language I'm using?

Elizabeth Hill48 said:''Scalp inflammation'' (whatever that means) just from wet hair?😕 ...look, I’m no doctor, but I wasn't born yesterday either, so I know that "inflammation" usually implies some kind of bacterial presence—unless someone wants to correct me on that.... basically: you can't get an ''inflammation'' just because your hair is wet.👎 ...when you say scalp inflammation, are you actually talking about meningitis (or something)? ...I remember Daniel from those old forums used to say stuff like that... he claimed you catch meningitis if you don't wear a hat in the winter🤣 ...and now look at him, he's sitting on millions of dollars.🤣

Just try walking outside with soaking wet hair when it's freezing and windy, then you'll see what I mean.
Obviously, I'm not talking about a bacterial infection.

Laura Jackson said:Well, why doesn't my doctor ask me about things as nicely as you do?
Yeah, I’ve got this long curly hair, so it takes me forever just to comb through it. I don't even dare touch it with a blow dryer right away; I usually wait until it air dries a bit on its own.
Maybe the change in air pressure messes with me too? On days I wash it, I end up feeling totally woozy, especially if my whole head aches—specifically that spot right between my nose and eyes. My eyebrows ache too, and my neck gets tight, though not as bad as the rest.

Laura Jackson, you've gotta blow dry your hair immediately after washing it instead of waiting for it to air dry!

Your headaches are probably coming from not drying your hair right away. A relative of mine worked the same job as you for years, and now she deals with massive migraines that nothing seems to fix. Not to mention, I heard about an old lady who passed away ages ago because of a brain infection caused by wet hair.
So, where exactly is Palestine located, huh?

Most Albanians in North Mexico are actually Muslim.

Pretty sure guys can't even get one!
I'm almost certain... I think doctors just check during a regular exam, nothing else...
Let me know if I'm totally wrong though!

Well, certain strains of HPV cause genital warts on the penis. Once those warts show up, that's when a doctor can confirm if HPV is the culprit. They'll just take a swab from the area and send it off to a lab for testing. The big thing is you've gotta go see a doctor about it.

Quick question for Disney and Dell:

Has anyone here actually gone through the process for an HPV test?

gentlewolf4 said:I really need to go grab some zinc and echinacea.

Seriously, you should pick those up ASAP, because when you combine zinc and echinacea with a heavy dose of Vitamin C, the treatment works way more effectively, don't you think? I’d actually suggest grabbing a high-quality multivitamin too, just to give your immune system every single tool it needs to absolutely crush this virus.

And hey, make sure you get your flu shot next year without fail, because honestly, isn't there nothing better than just being prepared?
Amanda Moore79 said:A friend of mine took a three-year break from college and stayed completely clean during that whole stretch. Now that she's finally scraping by to finish her degree, she’s complaining about how hard it is to focus and how she just can't study like she used to back when she was a total straight-A student. It's like she's paying the price for years of being totally unmotivated. 😁

The takeaway here? You can reach the same end goal through totally different paths. Drugs aren't the only way to hack your brain's motivation system, 😁

right?

They aren't the *only* way, sure, but man, they are incredibly efficient. 😁

On top of everything I just mentioned, you should probably toss in an extra 20mg of zinc daily, maybe throw some echinacea into the mix, and really load up on those heavy doses of Vitamin C.
I know this girl, a former longtime heroin addict, who actually pulled off a miracle by getting clean. But man, she’s still paying the price for those years of heavy use... on top of picking up Hepatitis C, she’s barely scraping by in college, even though she used to be a straight-A student before everything went south. She tells me herself how much she struggles just to focus or retain any basic information.

It isn't just that long-term addiction to hard drugs rewires your brain; it completely alters who you are as a person. Just look at someone like Din Dvornik... it's heartbreaking!

People love to bring up certain artists, but they always forget to mention that those massive masterpieces were usually created right at the start of their drug use, before they eventually spiraled into the abyss.
Folic Acid recommendations? in Health ·
I'm sticking with Nature Made Folic Acid. Just one pill gives me everything I need for the day, plus you can just grab it over the counter without needing a doctor's note.

Losing about 10kg a year is totally fine by me. Any more than that and you might run into issues with loose skin, right?
