Hmm, I just received a few notifications via email letting me know that my PM inbox is completely full, which apparently means I can't receive any more messages at all. I went ahead and cleared out my entire inbox to make some room, but strangely enough, nothing seems to have changed on my end?
I just need to double-check, I think I have it on Unknown, but since I don't really watch movies on Unknown (I know, I know, I’m a bit of a fanatic, but watching films on a computer just kind of kills the whole experience for me), I’ll probably just wait until it hits theaters. 😁
You know, I’ve always felt that Enka Bilal is a truly top-tier comic book artist, and I suppose you could look at this project as his little foray into cinema, where he attempted to translate that distinct graphic novel sensibility onto the big screen. I’ve heard some folks arguing that while the visuals are absolutely stunning, the story itself might lack a certain layer of depth. I haven't actually sat down to watch it yet, but I definitely plan to, as I've been a longtime admirer of Enki's work. 🙂
Unfortunately, I didn't quite manage to make it out to Napa Valley this past summer, though I have to say the Sundance Film Festival was actually pretty great... and those Crows are absolutely brilliant... Dević car is something else 😁
