Best online payment cards? in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Lisa Grant said:I’ve been struggling lately with that missing CVV code on our local debit cards 🙄

I can't seem to get my hands on a credit card either. I'm seriously considering heading down to Bank of America to open an account, but honestly, that would be my third bank to deal with just because of these constant hurdles 😠

Does anyone have any insight into that virtual Visa card? Is it actually reliable, and is it worth the hassle? It might actually be my best short-term fix. I even found one that isn't too pricey—there's no fee if I deposit $300, and I can top it up as needed, but there's a catch. I can only fund it through Bank wire transfers (which are way too expensive), or via e-currencies and Goldman Sachs options, which sound incredibly complicated and confusing to me... 😕

Look, here's the play: you go down to JPMorgan Chase, open up a checking account—which requires an initial deposit of $6.75—and ask specifically for a Visa Electron card. Whatever you do, do NOT mention or ask if you can use it on PayPal; the staff won't have a clue and they'll just tell you "no" to be safe. Then, you wait about two or three weeks for the card to arrive in the mail, load roughly $33 onto it so you can get registered on PayPal, and boom—you're set. I've been shopping this way for months now; I only spend whatever cash I actually have sitting in my account at that exact moment 🙂. There's zero risk of someone hacking my card—even if they did, the most they could ever swipe is whatever tiny amount I've loaded onto it in that moment 😂

I feel like I owe you a bit of my own story. Honestly, we went through that same grueling "ordeal" ourselves—but back in an era when things were even more primitive. For us, the only result was five years of absolute guesswork—everything looked fine on paper, apparently?—followed by endless inseminations, transfers, and whatnot. Our last IVF attempt? A total bust in the second month. Eventually, we just hit a wall; we couldn't take the mental toll or the financial drain anymore, so we decided to call it quits. And wouldn't you know it? We ended up conceiving naturally in our fifth month of giving up. I’ll tell you, when I finally checked into the hospital for prenatal care, the doctors were practically staring at me in disbelief—given the mountain of medical history and documentation I’d spent years accumulating. My point is: don't lose hope if it isn't happening immediately. Even the impossible can happen. We actually did some testing over at Vuk Vrhovac, and the staff there was top-notch. 🙂

blackberry wine is actually pretty solid—plus, it does wonders for your nerves (it’ll definitely cheer up 🙂

Look, honey, hormonal imbalances are no joke—I'm speaking from personal experience here—and if your doctor thinks she can just mask the issue with birth control, she’s dead wrong. Demand those hormone panels. Be relentless about it. You need actual treatment, not some quick fix designed to just hide the symptoms. Trust me, one day when you're ready to start a family, having a cycle that shows up whenever it feels like it is going to be a massive headache.

Lisa Richardson8, is that maybe wild concord grapes?

quietnomad0, I just sent you a DM

I’ve got an idea—though I’m not sure how we actually manage the technical side here—to start specific sub-forums dedicated to individual medicinal herbs and our own personal results. For instance, I’ve had incredibly positive experiences using sage, and I could definitely write up a detailed breakdown on that. I'd also love to hear what everyone else thinks about other plants. They say there’s a remedy for every ailment under the sun, so...

Two saccharin sweetener tablets—works 100% (well, at least in my experience) 😉
My philosophy is simple: if you’re going to ruin your health anyway, you might as well do it with some quality—and choosing Cola ensures you're doing it right 😵
