Having trouble breathing in Health ·
Let's not freak him out by dumping all our stories on him, since his situation might be totally different...

That feeling like you can't catch your breath could be caused by...

1. Stress.

2. Anemia...

3. Kidney issues... or maybe some other gland acting up.

4. Heart problems...

5. Allergies or some kind of asthma (maybe just starting?)

And so on...

What are you leaning towards? (You know your own body best)
Natural remedies and home cures in Health ·
So, I mentioned a few days ago that I had this red spot pop up in my eye, which ended up clearing itself up. At first, my doctor thought it was just a burst blood vessel from high blood pressure... But now that I've come down with the flu and bronchitis, it feels more like a virus just tearing through my whole system, one thing after another...

Since I’m constantly stuck on antibiotics because of this chronic bronchitis, I finally decided I'm done relying solely on Big Pharma. I want to figure out what actually works naturally—you know, stuff like diet and herbs...

I was honestly shocked at how much effective natural stuff is out there (and what actually worked for me). For instance, Iceland moss supplements or elderberry syrup helped way more than those standard over-the-counter cough syrups, which always seem to make my coughing worse! I also read that adding selenium and flaxseeds can help with the cough... And apparently, cinnamon and cloves work wonders as natural antiseptics when you're dealing with a cold...

If anyone knows any other natural remedies for the flu, colds, bronchitis, or whatever else, please share! I'd love to hear what works for you. Stay healthy, everyone!

Bloodshot eyes: What's causing them? in Health ·
Charles Edwards8 said:Walter Wilson, don't even sweat the whole thing about high intracranial or eye pressure😉—it's probably not worth your headspace. But look, if that redness doesn't clear up in three or four days, go ahead and hit up your primary care doctor first. They can hook you up with a referral to an eye specialist if they think it's necessary, though I’m pretty sure it'll just settle down on its own.

You shouldn't need any intense medical treatments, but seriously, try not to strain those eyes too much.

I'm trying, but I haven't exactly seen a pirate eye patch for sale at CVS yet😬, so when I'm reading or stuck at my computer, I'm still straining. But yeah, I think it'll pass. I'll let you know. Thanks, 😘 Jerry Parker11!
Bloodshot eyes: What's causing them? in Health ·
I’d leave it alone, but honestly, everything's just too much to look at right now—whether it's a book, my laptop, or even the TV... I feel totally off all day, like I'm terrified something's actually wrong with my head 😬 (just this weird pressure or something)!... 😢
Bloodshot eyes: What's causing them? in Health ·
Woke up this morning with this bright red spot right on my eyeball—like, on the white part—that definitely wasn't there when I went to bed last night! As soon as I opened my eyes, I started testing my vision to see if everything was still okay. I think I can see fine, but honestly, there are moments where I'm second-guessing myself... Does anyone have a clue what causes this? Is it an allergy? Maybe just dry eyes from the heater running all night? Or could it be something scarier like eye pressure or even something neurological?! Please, let me know what you think. I’m especially looking for anyone who’s dealt with this before or has any medical/eye doctor experience. Also, does anyone know of any natural remedies for stuff like this? Thanks in advance.

So kind of you to lay all this out for us... I'm just sitting here wondering: how am I supposed to organize this massive mess into one readable list that I can actually carry around while grocery shopping?... 🙄

Roger Wood41 said:Yeah. If you check the fine print on the unknown packaging, it warns you about this:
Ascorbic acid is a strong reducing agent that can mess with lab results (like glucose in urine, estradiol, liver enzymes, LDH in serum, occult blood in stool, serum bilirubin, plasma iron and ferritin, urine pH, uric acid, or oxalates).

🙂

- Well, look at that! Now someone tell me how long I actually have to wait after taking Vitamin C before I go in for bloodwork or a urine test?! Like, what doses are even safe to take right before...

I honestly just popped in here to learn something new... but instead, I ended up having a good laugh... not a bad way to get some therapy (for whatever)... thanks for making my night better (since I'm feeling pretty crappy right now)! Cheers to Kraft! 👏

Here I go again...🙂
I just read that grapefruit seeds work as a super effective natural antibiotic—like, way better than the real deal! Unlike those synthetic drugs, bacteria never actually build up a resistance to them.
So, I started hoarding seeds (grabbing 3 or 4 from every single grapefruit!). But when I put them in a jar to dry out, they grew mold after just a few days. All that work for nothing because I didn't dry them well enough! Oh well, at least now I’ve got a "two-for-one" natural remedy on my hands!!!😂

Everyone’s always yapping about how egg yolks are loaded with cholesterol, blah blah blah!... Meanwhile, I’m reading that they actually have way more nutrients than the whites!

I even found out that Donald Trump uses them to deal with insomnia, nausea, irritability, and—cramps!

Anyone else know anything about this? Let me hear it!
Food and Wellness in Health ·
I'm not even talking about myself here, I'm talking about the food!...
Besides, if you're such a mediocre nutritionist, you're clearly just as bad at psychology. And that sense of humor? Does that even exist?!😂
So just back off! Nobody here cares what you think anyway. You're just stating obvious facts and acting like you've discovered fire!🙂
Me? I'm actually trying to dig into some deeper nutrition stuff by talking to people who actually know their business...
Anyway, enough clogging up the thread!🙂
Later...

George said:It’s actually pretty interesting watching how people think,

Is this guy just a clone of George or are they on the same payroll? ......

But hey, they aren't always right. I was just sharing an opinion from
someone who actually got results from these products, plus mentioned a few
bits about Omega-3 and where to find more info. That's it. If you don't like it, too bad.

- This is an internal thread mostly aimed at "George," not you!🙂 Don't let them get to you! Peace!👋

Nah, I don't know the guy, but if he changes his mind, the door's always open...

- You can keep trying to sweet-talk them, but... how about we just make a deal already!?🙂
No matter how much you try to lure them in, they're yours, no biggie😁, but you're the only one posting here (we only need one rep, one who actually matters... kind of like you)... alright?😉

Why is cinnamon actually good for managing diabetes? What's the deal with it working? And does anyone know any other foods that won't wreck my blood sugar?

Could be, could be. That’s why we’re all here—to swap notes and see what sticks!🙂

Anyway, I got another one for you. Word on the street is salmon is like magic for your skin tone. Is that just the omega-3s or what...? But seriously, why salmon specifically instead of some other fish? What’s so special about it compared to everything else...😁
Back pain and foot issues in Health ·
Thanks, lahore...
For now, these insoles actually help, mostly... if I can even get them in.😉
The issue is I can't just shove them into any random shoe... They’re clearly designed for bulky, high-volume footwear... Winter wasn't an issue since my boots are basically huge clodhoppers😁, but now that I'm wearing dressier shoes... hmmm...🤔
And I can already feel the ache, making it a struggle to walk...🙄
