I need to nag someone about transfer fees for a second...
I'm looking to move some cash from my checking account at JPMorgan Chase over to a checking account at Wells Fargo. What kind of commission am I looking at? Is there any way to dodge or lower the fee—maybe by withdrawing the cash from JPMorgan Chase, walking over to Wells Fargo, and just depositing it there? Thanks! 🙂
I’m dealing with the exact same thing. 😢 My hands and feet are constantly freezing, and the skin on my hands is cracked and turning this bluish-purple color. It doesn't matter how many layers of clothes I pile on; I'm always cold. My blood pressure is low, and I have no clue about my iron levels, but I stay active with daily workouts. Things feel better for maybe five minutes while I'm exercising, but then it just goes right back to how it was. To make matters worse, I’ve been feeling pretty dizzy the last two days—yesterday, I could barely even make it home safely...
I went to see my doctor back in August, and she just brushed it off, saying it was due to the heat and told me to drink more water and keep exercising. Obviously, that didn't do a damn thing.
I’m dealing with this too. Seriously low blood pressure. I haven't found a fix yet, other than just wearing gloves around the house... though that doesn't even really help my circulation. My mom suggested trying the warm and cold water soak trick on my hands. It hasn't done anything for me 😢
Now I’m completely lost. My gynecologist didn't explain a single thing—what this actually means, what I need to do, or what I don't. I even brought my referral to the doctor, and they just told me not to worry, saying it's just an external check, like those ultrasounds pregnant women get to see the baby. Then I read this! Honestly, I can still cancel my order... maybe I should just leave the spot for someone who actually needs it.
If you're looking for a good gynecologist, I’d suggest Dr. Wahid over at the Downtown Medical Center. I switched to him at the start of October, and I think he's still taking new patients.
When I first registered with my gynecologist, I only dealt with the nurse. She hands you some paperwork that you have to photocopy, get verified at the Social Security office, and then bring back to the doctor. You can just take that paper with you when you go in for your appointment to save a trip. I didn't wait until the end of the year to get registered, either. And when I switched providers, it was the exact same process 🙂 It felt a little weird that I didn't even have to officially de-register from the old one...
Also, quick question: I’m headed in for an ultrasound. Some friends told me I should drink at least a liter of water beforehand. Is that actually true? And if so, why the hell didn't any of the doctors mention it to me???
I don't want to look like an idiot here, but what exactly is a PCO?
My doctor sent me in because of some painful intercourse issues, even though everything looked fine during the exam, just to be safe. I’m honestly dreading it because I doubt they'll actually find anything. My last gynecologist basically just told me after the check-up that I probably just need to relax more and called it a day. So, does it actually matter where I am in my menstrual cycle? God, being a woman is such a hassle...
From what I can tell, the guy is actually great and really puts in the effort. He didn't act like he was just waiting for me to disappear. 🙂 Thanks for clearing that up. Small issue, though—I’m not really down for those ultrasounds or whatever because they hurt. And once they're done, do I get the results right away, or am I stuck waiting later?
So, he said ultrasound. How am I supposed to know what they're actually doing over there??
Hey!
Thanks for all the OBGYN recommendations. I ended up seeing Dr. Wahid and he was great.
He sent me for a TVS ultrasound. Can someone explain what that actually is? Like, what does the procedure involve? For the first part, I'm assuming it's just an ultrasound 🙂 Also, any advice on which hospital to go to? They told me I could use Mercy, Mount Sinai, or maybe a local community clinic.
Thanks
