Duje Draganja: Sellout or just misunderstood? in Other Sports ·
Carl Brooks22 said:Hey Leonard Nimoy, you're supposed to be a moderator on our biggest forum—it's not exactly classy to back statements like those...

By the way, similar results were reported by The New York Times regarding the people silentorca492 mentioned, which could probably be interpreted as the increasing pressure on the LGBTQ+ community in American society... among them are the Skelin brothers, Gips, Kozulj (who said he understands Draganja, but wouldn't act that way himself), Blanka Vlasic (though the term used here might not be entirely accurate), and Mico Milosevic (maybe "annoying" is halfway right; I just remember that episode from the early 90s—the guy wins world gold in small pools while setting a world record—and the journalists' second question was basically asking him to sketch out his entire family tree)...
We're still waiting on statements from Pesalov, Kirill, Pasicnik, and da Silva.

You've mostly just listed people from Florida and some swimmers.
Do you have anyone actually relevant
like the coach of a multi-time Olympic and World champion like Lindsey Vonn
or what the coaches of Olympic and World champion handball players have to say
or perhaps an opinion from one of those handballers or the kids from Gips?
The gay crowd will be ignored regardless.

Go screw yourself.👋

Traitor to the country 14%
Pragmatic materialist 16%
Made a rational move 65%
Ceased to exist for me 5%

The crowd over at ExxonMobil is mostly just a bunch of degenerates, though they're smart enough 👋

quietcobra30 said:This is a textbook example of how Duje Draganja actually writes—you know, the different, better way. Such enviable literacy and a profound grasp of the subject matter, which is sports, apparently. Says the expert.🙂Does anyone actually have any idea what they’re talking about? Between all this talk of lobotomies, sour milk, and nonsense, I'm just lost. Why bother? You might as well stop right where you are, since you clearly aren't where you think you are.

Man, just get lost. 👋

I'm with you on this. I’d actually prefer talking to someone from a place like Chicago or somewhere similar, because frankly, I have nothing to say to people like that.

That's a sharp observation.

Who actually voted that way? I'd love to know. 🙄

USA vs. Turkey

Italy vs. Netherlands

When is this scheduled, and does anyone from the LA Lakers roster play?
Based on these stats, Ferdinand is actually the better player.😕
tokic_ said:Who actually cares if the ball crossed the line or not? All that matters is the Cincinnati Reds made it to the finals.
🙂 😉 🎉 😍

You're clearly obsessed with the Reds.

I don't think it matters whether the goal counts or not; nobody stands a chance against the Lakers in the finals anyway.☕
coppernomad4 said:Did anyone actually watch Korea during that tournament? It was the first time a team of Asians looked truly organized, and they became the breakout stars of the whole event. You can lecture me about the officiating all you want, but bad calls didn't make them that good.

The referees decided they were moving on, so nothing else really matters.
It’s pretty obvious you can't have a serious debate about managers without bringing up Miroslav "Ćiro" Kožić or Fabio Capello. If you really wanted to complete the list, you might as well throw Lončarević in there too.

Chris Campbell3 said:Heh, who knows where you're coming from.
I'm in San Francisco, so it'll probably be cheaper for me. 😉

Don't overthink it.
The cost is just the distance between major hubs,
meaning from Washington, D.C. to Milan.

Chris Campbell3 said:I wouldn't go with you; I don't have the patience to listen to you whine the entire drive back.🙂

Give me a break.
It would actually be a blast to watch together.
Why don't you do the math on what the gas and tolls would cost per person for a trip to Milan?
Estimate consumption at about 7 liters per 62 miles

Ultras said:Oh, so we're heading out on the 7th? Just swing by my place around eight in the morning. 👍

BTW, I grabbed our tickets for Istanbul. We leave on the 20th, driving through Mexico and Bulgaria, with an overnight stop in Sofia. We'll be in Istanbul on the 22nd, and we've got until the 25th to live like kings—you can pretty much rule the place with 50 bucks. After the match, we head straight back, catching the morning flight on the 28th. 👍

Solid plan, seems doable.
Just be ready.

Don't be ridiculous.
This is a serious project.

I managed to work something out with a guy who knows how to move things.
We’re kicking things off on the 7th with plenty of chaos and drinks, so I'll be hungover for the game tomorrow.
I suggest we head down to Miami for the nostalgia, take a boat over to Florida, then drive through the heartland up to New York.
And along the way, we’ll give the locals hell just because we can.
On the way back, we'll make sure to stir up some trouble with the folks in Chicago and Vegas.

We can split the gas money, you grab the tickets and we’re good to go.
The Ultras can tag along too.
