I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction regarding where I can pick up some Imodium here in the States? To be more specific, I'm currently based in San Francisco. Also, does anyone have much firsthand experience using this particular medication? Thanks so much!

My mother recently underwent an MRI, and we discovered she has a cyst measuring about 3x3x3 cm in her
brain... honestly, finding out was a total 😲shock to our entire system, but it turns out this thing is just floating there like a bubble in a glass of bourbon... I am really wondering
whether someone can actually live a normal life with this, or if we are essentially sitting on a ticking time bomb that could go off at
any given moment...
I would truly appreciate hearing about any of your personal experiences regarding this..
Our house is in complete chaos right now because we are all terrified, and the doctors haven't given us much clarity yet... please help🙂🙂🙂

Car loans
in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
Hey everyone... hmmmmm so I’m looking to get a car, and I'm planning on financing it—which brings me to a few questions for you all:
I currently have my checking account and all my cards set up over at JPMorgan Chase, and since I really need a vehicle for my commute, I've been thinking about my situation; my employment contracts are only renewed every three months, so I was wondering if I could ask my employer to switch me over to a permanent, full-time status instead? I've heard it might be possible to secure a loan even without a steady job, but I'm not sure how that works, and more importantly, what's the best way to go about buying a car that I absolutely need right now?
Also, I was curious if anyone could give me an idea of what my monthly payments might look like for a car priced at $30 if I were to stretch the loan out over either 5 or 7 years?
I would truly appreciate any advice or insight you can share...🙏

Has anyone tried Seldiar capsules?
in Health ·
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone here has some firsthand experience using those unknown capsules? I would really love to hear your thoughts on them... specifically, do you think they are safe to take on a daily basis? I personally struggle with chronic diarrhea triggered by anxiety, and since I started taking these, my digestion has finally stabilized and returned to normal. I am genuinely curious to hear from anyone who has tried them or is currently using them. Thanks so much!
Stomach issues—need help!

Honestly, I’m at my wits' end here—I've been dealing with constant diarrhea and bloating since Saturday, and there’s this unsettling, restless sensation in my gut that just won't quit. I have no idea what to do about it 🤷 I've already switched over to a strict diet and I've been sipping on herbal tea, but I really need to know how to make this stop 😢 if anyone could please point me in the right direction..
Does anyone know if there is a specific antibiotic or a particular medication I could ask my family to pick up for me at a local CVS or Walgreens? What would be the smartest move to take in a situation like this?

Does anyone happen to have a recommendation for a truly reliable endocrinologist in the Miami area? I would be so incredibly grateful for any leads you could share.😘
Nervous about the New York-Los Angeles trip?????
in Health ·
Thank you all so much for the advice; I actually stopped by a local pharmacy and they gave me some Dramamine travel tablets, which have helped a bit—I’m feeling slightly better now—though that underlying anxiety hasn't quite left me yet. As for the stomach cramps and diarrhea, I've just been trying to settle my system with some dark chocolate and toast, plus I ended up taking half a box of Persen, though honestly, it feels like it has completely stopped working on me...
I am just praying that I can somehow manage to make it all the way to Miami...🙄

Nervous about the New York-Los Angeles trip?????

So, I’m actually heading out on a road trip down to Miami this afternoon, and even though I’m still sitting here in NYC, I’ve been hit with this MASSIVE wave of anxiety since early this morning. It’s brought along some pretty intense stomach cramps and diarrhea, and honestly, I can’t stop shaking—I feel freezing cold, too. I’m really wondering what I can do to settle this nerves; is there something specific I could pick up at a pharmacy to help calm everything down? I would be so incredibly grateful for any advice you all might have.🙏 ...
I should mention that I tend to be quite sensitive to these things...

Slaven will be commentating on the match!👍 🙂I am absolutely thrilled about this!
Social security or whatever it's called?

Wait, I’m honestly feeling a bit lost right now—where and how exactly do I go to get my health insurance sorted out?
And can I just handle all of this here in NYC, or am I going to have to fly down to Miami to deal with it?
P.S. My future mother-in-law actually works over at the Department of Health and Human Services, so I was wondering if she might be able to help me navigate the bureaucracy somehow?🙄
Also, after everything that’s happened over these past few months, what’s the actual process for me to finally qualify for coverage?

I’ve run into a bit of a situation, and I’m feeling pretty stuck. After I graduated last year, I received my employment records, but it turns out nobody bothered to mention that I needed to register with the unemployment office. Apparently, if I don't get myself signed up, I won't have any coverage through Medicare—or whatever the official term is for our health insurance system.
So, here is the dilemma: I’m currently living in NYC, but on paper, I’m still registered at my permanent address in Miami. To make matters worse, I’ve been struggling quite a bit lately with panic attacks and intense anxiety. Because of that, I'm feeling really overwhelmed about how to handle this whole insurance issue and what steps I actually need to take to get covered.
The truth is, I have a massive phobia when it comes to traveling or even just being away from home, so making the trip down to Miami is absolutely out of the question for me right now...👎

Digestive issues or something else?

Oh, honestly... I went ahead and had a chat with my primary care physician and a couple of other specialists, and they all basically told me that I’d pushed myself just a little too far this time, effectively taking a direct hit to my system's most vulnerable points.
They suggested I take it easy with some mild sedatives, get my minerals and vitamins back on track, and that everything should settle down perfectly fine in due time.

I’ve actually dealt with this myself... I live with IBS = Irritable Bowel syndrome...

I feel like I’m running on empty, without any energy or even basic strength left in me... I spent some time looking through medication options available here in the States, and while there is plenty of stuff out there, the prices are just absolutely staggering. Still, when you're talking about your health, sometimes you just have to make that call. I went ahead and ordered them, so now we wait and see if they actually make a difference once they arrive...

Thanks so much—I’ll definitely keep that in mind...😘

So, here is my situation: I have been dealing with diarrhea every single morning for over two weeks now...😢and honestly, I am at my wit's end because I feel like I have tried absolutely everything, yet nothing seems to work...
Does anyone have any advice on what might be going on with me, and more importantly, how can I finally get this to stop?😕
Just to give you some context, I don't eat anything after 10 PM, and I rarely have heavy dinners—most nights I skip dinner entirely, depending on how things go...
I also suffer from a stomach ulcer and I've always been quite sensitive, plus my digestion is incredibly slow, which I suspect might be part of the problem...
P.S. Lately, whenever I find myself in an unfamiliar place, or if I have to strike up a conversation with someone new, I get hit with intense panic attacks and nerves, which inevitably triggers my stomach issues and diarrhea...
What feels particularly strange to me is that this digestive issue specifically hits in the morning, just a few hours after I get out of bed, while the rest of my day usually goes perfectly fine...
And it definitely flares up whenever I’m feeling anxious, agitated, or even just overly excited...
I am honestly losing my mind here—I really don't know what to do next, so please, if you have any insight, help me out!😢

Charles Schwab financial advice
in Banking, Insurance & Loans ·
I used to work at Morgan Stanley, and if there is one thing I learned, it’s that everything revolves around chasing the almighty dollar—yet somehow, nobody actually sees any of it. You put in the hours, you grind away, and yet the money just isn't there. It is honestly heartbreaking to see people working in certain financial firms lure others in by painting this incredibly rosy picture, telling clients that everything is perfect and prosperous, when the reality is 👎 something much more cynical than they care to admit. And since we are on the subject of Morgan Stanley, let's be real: they have always maintained this polished reputation for being reliable, successful, and perpetually profitable. A legitimate, honest firm would never feel the need to hide its losses, but they act as if they have never experienced a single setback in their lives. 😲 It sounds absurd, I know, but from the moment I started, my gut was telling me something was off. Once I finally saw the actual state of affairs and realized exactly where this path was leading, I handed in my resignation. I made sure to tell everyone who asked me for the truth that I wouldn't recommend Morgan Stanley to my worst enemy, because, quite frankly, the whole setup feels like a scam. That’s all I have to say about that. 🙄
