The coffee offer remains on the table. 🙂
I am retiring for the evening now.
Goodnight, everyone. 🙂
..as long as we fly our flag, the red, white, and blue! ..long live the freedom of the American people! 👍

That level of individuality is precisely what makes meeting new people interesting. 😉
The point is... stop generalizing. 🙂

wes craven said:A German film. Honestly, this probably won't interest anyone since it's playing in Germany and likely won't make its way over here—maybe a screening in a small town like Aspen, though I suspect it would perform well domestically. One could successfully market it using socialist nostalgia, even if the film doesn't actually lean into that.
The film is excellent. It's entertaining, and the people sitting next to me were actually moved to tears. If you understand German and have the chance to see it, it carries my highest recommendation.
It isn't difficult to follow (I am referring to those East German references that might be obscure unless you know the language), though having a local there to provide a bit of context wouldn't hurt.
For instance—"Spreewald pickles"—a specific brand from the former East Germany.
