If Magnolia wrapped up right as everyone hits that final note—perfection. As it stands? Not even close.
shadowgardener12 said:LOL 😁 looks like you're just a troll... go find someone else to bother 👋

Praise Jesus Christ.
shadowgardener12 said:Come on, northerncrane4—I’d give you a beer and a burger just to get you to stop whining so much! 😢

Really? That’s it—just pure ignorance? Is that truly your response to me actually trying to educate you?

The sleep of the righteous.
unknown said:Like I already said—☕

Less rum in that tea—or whiskey in that coffee.
unknown said:What happened now? A few more narrow-minded losers finally found an excuse to trash the "backwards" church? 🥳

So, what’s the word, Father? Anything juicy happening in the parish?
shadowgardener12 said:Of course. Don't bring up things we aren't aware of—it’s easy to take offense. We're just ignorant haters, right?
Besides, we don't even know the rest of the story.
We've been conditioned our entire lives for this exact reaction.

Let's be tolerant toward the arsonists. Much love.
shadowgardener12 said:it’s basically Hollywood’s trashy entertainment industry versus people like us—folks on this forum with actual ethics and life experience. But hey, who cares? As long as the quick cash rolls in, let’s just grab some burgers and beers afterward.

What an idiot. American film professionals who get the chance to learn the ropes through co-productions aren't "chasing quick cash"—they're grinding twelve hours a day, six days a week. They're building sets, laying tracks, erecting scaffolding, hauling lights, and all that. Then they take that expertise and spread it across other domestic productions.

They even work on those mindless Jack Sedlar movies funded by religious groups—not because they want to, but because they have families to feed. Idiots.
Jose Chase2 said:The hypocrisy is unreal—everyone who's been losing their minds here suddenly becomes a massive humanitarian and an expert on tolerance on other threads.

Not me.
jimmy jazz said:Some things matter more than money or some global garbage factory.

No, you idiot—nothing comes before money. If the production budget were offered directly to the church, they wouldn't have had a single issue with filming there. But it wasn't. They lost their slice of the pie, so they decided to make some noise about it. If Vince Vaughn offered them cash to bulldoze specific historical sites just so he could build a casino on the spot, they’d agree without even blinking.
shadowgardener12 said:I completely agree with the ban on filming—if the property is still being used by the Church, it shouldn't be happening.

So, whenever anyone mentions Los Angeles—it’s treated like some sacred concept above all others. Apparently, we’re just supposed to hand over everything for the sake of Hollywood? Please.

As if anyone else in the world would even realize this was being filmed.

I’ve already brought this up in another thread—it seems like most "urbanites" use Hollywood as their sole yardstick for culture.
Not when people don't even bother to value their own culture.
It only matters if both Hollywood and the rest of America actually give a damn about it.

They’d sell their own grandmother if she landed a role in a Hollywood movie.
👍
Well, congratulations then!

You are. Absolute idiot. I don't see any need to argue—not that I'm looking for one.
Larry Cruz51 said:I’d bet anything the cops won't even bother catching those idiots who pulled this off.

Why would they even look for them? These guys are basically guardian angels—they’ve practically guaranteed themselves a spot in paradise with a stunt like this. Honestly, they could go out and commit any crime imaginable now and nobody would touch them. There's zero incentive for the police to step in.
Larry Cruz51 said:San Diego doesn't even have any local crews available anyway. At least a hundred people could have made a quick buck working as extras.

It isn't just about the extras—that burned-out set was built by our top-tier production designer, Mario Ivezić, and his entire crew. Now their hard work is trashed, they're out the money, and judging by how this went, the next big co-production will probably head straight to Armageddon. The Catholic Church is an institution for idiots—and its American branch? A total collection of morons.
Basta said:Newsflash: film crews aren't going to be shooting in America after those recent incidents.

Maybe we should burn down a little chapel now—just to keep the universe in balance.
Constantine said:If you haven't figured out why they keep making remakes yet... it's simple—they're chasing a paycheck because they've completely run out of original ideas.

Or they're just total nerds—kind of like Joe Biden.

So—what's your specific issue with Ivo Gregurević?
walter said:It’s mostly just fear—plain and simple. After watching that flick, you might think twice about hopping in the shower.

And after "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," mashed potatoes become a bit of a gamble.

You’re being completely clueless.

What’s there left to say about James Cameron's The Abyss? Especially that one. Director's cut—the ultimate indulgence..

Hold on—is this actually a deep movie, or just some interesting study on free diving technique?
