I've actually thought about doing the same, but then I remember how fast software updates move these days. Honestly, with my Broadband speeds being what they are, I don't really see the point in going through all that trouble.🙂

Didn't you guys pull that same stunt during the finals in Portugal?

Give me a break. Someone can be a total jerk and say
"And you guys just showed up ready to play dirty—just throw a heavy punch right in their face, and while the medics are busy patching them up, we'll grab the lead!!"

We’ve already seen what the big-shot experts in the European Union—who clearly know way more about handball than I ever will—think about your style of play. But sure, go ahead and claim "the whole world is out to get you!"

Anyway, if you want to try playing fair in the future, be my guest. Honestly, I don't care one bit, believe me...

Nothing left to say... the Spaniards just absolutely schooled us.

Mirza was his usual reliable self
Balic held his own too
Lackovic was completely MIA
Metlicic was even worse than that
Sola's either playing for a paycheck or he's DONE😁
Kaleb was totally checked out too
Vori was just okay
Buntic put up a good fight
Sprem might’ve actually been our best player
Dominikovic fought hard, mad respect to him

Huge shoutout to the players—seriously, props to everyone for putting on this championship. They fought hard, and honestly, we should give them a proper welcome when they get back home.

As for that final? I’ll let them wrap their own heads around what went down. It’s definitely hitting them harder than it’s hitting us.

Always blaming the refs!
If the officiating had been even remotely "normal" (because yeah, it was weird), they would've had four players sent off, plus our guy Goluža..
A 4:1 ratio? Imagine how that game would've ended........

You can actually see the posts on their forums like, "What's wrong with Americans, we don't dance the waltz" or "we don't do ballet" or "we don't play table tennis"...

I even saw a post from some Mexican living in Denmark claiming he lives there and KNOWS that Danes hate Mexicans but love Americans...😁 😁

Scumbags... absolute scumbags... I don't have any other words for them... They acted just as bad during the World Cup a few years back, probably blaming the refs for that too...

They really needed NATO stepping in when they were getting thrashed to say, "What's wrong with Mexicans, we don't dance the waltz"...

General
Windows Registry -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- general Definition of The Microsoft Windows Registry Check this out: http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q256/9/86.ASP

Look, I’m just going to say it: messing with the Windows Registry is basically playing Russian roulette with your OS. If you aren't 100% sure what you're doing, just put the mouse down and walk away. Seriously. It’s one of those things where everything seems fine until you click "OK" on a random tweak you found on some obscure forum, and suddenly your computer is a very expensive paperweight. You change one tiny value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE thinking you're being a genius, and boom—Blue Screen of Death. If you absolutely insist on being reckless, please, for the love of all that is holy, learn how to use ASP How to backup and Restore The registry first. Don't be that guy who realizes they need a restore point *after* the system won't even reach the desktop. Also, if you're trying to dive deep into the guts of the system, check out Registry Internals Inside The Registry - Learn How NT. It might actually give you a clue before you break something. And if you're worried about someone else messing with your setup, look into Enhance Security Through Registry Permissions http://www.winntmag.com/Articles/Content/5375_01.html. Bottom line? Treat the Registry like a live wire. Use caution, or prepare to spend your weekend reinstalling Windows. Check this out: http://support.microsoft.com/support.../86.ASP#Topic2 Advanced Registry Information Resources

So, let's talk about Registry Data Types. If you're going to be poking around under the hood of the Windows Registry, you really shouldn't go in blind. It’s not just one big pile of random text; there’s actually some logic to how things are stored. Think of it like a massive filing cabinet where everything needs a specific folder type so the system doesn't lose its mind. Basically, when you're looking at values, they fall into a few main categories. You've got your standard strings, which are pretty self-explanatory—just plain old text. Then you have DWORDs, which are basically those 32-bit numbers that the system uses for all sorts of little toggles and settings. If you want to turn a feature on or off, you're usually messing with a DWORD. Then there are QWORDs for the heavier lifting (64-bit stuff), binary data for when the system needs to store raw hex junk, and even multi-string values if a single entry needs to hold a whole list of items. It might seem like overkill, but having these distinct types is what keeps the OS from tripping over itself. If you try to treat a binary blob like a simple string, things are going to get messy, fast. Just a heads-up before you start editing away: knowing exactly what kind of data you're looking at is the difference between a smooth tweak and a blue screen. Check this out: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...egapi_41mb.htm

Windows 95/98/ME

So, you're looking to mess around with Regedit.exe while running in Real Mode on Windows 95/98? Yeah, that's a bit of a wild ride. If you’re trying to dive deep into the guts of the system when things aren't exactly running smoothly, you're basically playing with fire, but hey, I've always liked a little heat. Dealing with the registry while the OS is in this state can be tricky because you're stepping outside the usual safety nets. It's one of those "handle with care" situations where one wrong move in the registry and you're staring at a blue screen instead of a working desktop. When you're poking around in the Windows 95/98 environment like this, you really need to have a solid plan. You can't just wing it. If you're going to experiment with the Description of The registry Files in Win 95/98, make sure you've got your backups ready to go. Seriously, don't be that person who breaks their setup and then wonders why nothing works. If you want to get serious about it, you should probably look into the Registry Internals Inside The Registry - Learn How NT. It gives you a much better grasp of what's actually happening under the hood. And if you're worried about someone else messing with your settings, check out the info on Enhance Security Through Registry Permissions http://www.winntmag.com/Articles/Content/5375_01.html. Just a heads up: playing in Real Mode means you're closer to the metal, which is cool, but also means there's less to stop you from making a mess. Be smart about it. Check this out: http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q131/3/52.asp
Description of The registry Files in Win 95/98 Check this out: http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q250/4/10.ASP
So, you've gone and messed things up? Don't worry, we've all been there. If you're looking for the "oops, I broke it" button, you're looking for ASP How to backup and Restore The registry. It’s basically your safety net before you dive headfirst into making a mess of your system settings. If you want to play it safe, you should definitely learn how to pull a backup before you start tweaking stuff. It’s just good practice. Otherwise, you're basically driving a car without a seatbelt—fun until you hit something. Check this out: http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q132/3/32.asp
So, you've run into some registry errors? Welcome to the club. It’s usually a headache, but let's see if we can sort through the mess without nuking your entire OS. First things first, don't go swinging around in there blindly. If you start deleting stuff just because you think it looks suspicious, you're basically playing Russian roulette with your hard drive. If you're looking for a way to dig deep into what's actually happening under the hood, check out Registry Internals Inside The Registry - Learn How NT. It's pretty solid if you want to understand why things are breaking instead of just guessing. If you're dealing with something specific like how files are being handled, you might want to look into file Association http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/ps. Sometimes a broken link there is all it takes to make everything feel wonky. For those who prefer a more "safety first" approach—which, honestly, is the only sane way to do this—you should definitely hit up ASP How to backup and Restore The registry before you touch a single key. Seriously. Don't be that person who wipes their configuration and then wonders why they can't boot. If you're trying to figure out if something malicious is messing with your settings, you could try monitoring Registry Activity During The boot Process http://www.sysinternals.com/regboot.htm Registry Security Maintaining Registry Security. It gives you a decent look at what's moving during startup. Also, if you're worried about someone else poking around your system, you need to look into Enhance Security Through Registry Permissions http://www.winntmag.com/Articles/Content/5375_01.html. It's worth knowing how to lock things down properly. Bottom line: take it slow, back your stuff up, and don't delete anything unless you're 100% sure what it does. Good luck. So, I was thinking about the whole Registry size situation on Windows NT. It’s one of those things that people always seem to trip over when they start digging into how the OS actually handles data under the hood. If you're looking at the technical limits, there isn't really a hard "ceiling" in the way most people think—it’s more about how much memory and disk space you're willing to throw at it before things start getting sluggish. But let's be real: if you go overboard, you're just asking for trouble. I remember seeing some chatter about this earlier, and honestly, it's easy to get lost in the weeds. If you want to dive deeper into how it all works, you should probably check out Registry Internals Inside The Registry - Learn How NT. It'll give you a better idea of what's actually happening behind the scenes. Just a heads up though: don't go playing around with settings you don't understand unless you've got a solid plan for ASP How to backup and Restore The registry. Messing with the wrong keys is a great way to turn a working machine into a very expensive paperweight. Check this out: http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q124/5/94.asp
So, I was thinking about the whole registry size situation on NT. People always seem to be stressing over how much space this thing is eating up, like it’s some kind of growing monster under the bed. But honestly? If you're actually hitting a wall with the size limits on Windows NT, you probably have bigger problems than just a bloated database. It's not like we're running on some ancient, limited hardware from a decade ago. Most modern US workstations can handle a massive amount of data before things even start to feel sluggish. If you want to dig into the actual mechanics of how this all works under the hood, check out Registry Internals Inside The Registry - Learn How NT. It’s pretty solid if you want to understand why the system behaves the way it does when things get heavy. Anyway, unless your machine is acting like it's choking on its own breath, don't lose sleep over it. Just keep an eye on what's being added and maybe look into monitoring Registry Activity During The boot Process http://www.sysinternals.com/regboot.htm Registry Security Maintaining Registry Security if you're worried about weird bloat caused by rogue processes. If you're looking to tighten things up and Regulate Network access by locking down remote registry editing on Win NT or Windows 2000, here’s the deal. It's pretty straightforward if you know where to look. Basically, you want to mess with the ASP remote Registry Editing Setting to make sure some random user isn't poking around your system from across the office. You can handle this through your standard admin tools to ensure you have full control over who's hitting your machine. If you need more deep dives into how the OS handles these permissions or want to see the nitty-gritty of how the system manages these requests, check out these resources: know Your enemy and taka control of Network Security http://www.winntmag.com/Articles/Content/88_01.html Inside The Registry - Uncover its usefulness http://www.winntmag.com/Articles/Content/122_01.html Enhance Security Through Registry Permissions http://www.winntmag.com/Articles/Content/5375_01.html That should keep the unwanted guests out. Simple enough. Check this out: http://support.microsoft.com/support.../Q153/1/83.asp
If you're looking to Regulate Network access to the Win NT registry, you've gotta be careful how you handle things.
