Northern Exposure (1990-1995) in TV Series ·
An absolutely stellar series. It’s basically a study in contrasts: a high-strung New Yorker pitted against those incredibly laid-back locals up in Alaska.
What a massive collection of characters 😁 And man, the local traditions are just wild 😁 Imagine all the guys stripping down to walk through the snow while the women line up just to watch and cheer them on 🙏

The Wild One (1992) - a solid flick, based on a true story🙂
Now that I’ve finally sat down and watched "Indiana Jones" in its entirety, calling it anything less than a masterpiece would be a flat-out lie. 😁

I just noticed that the NBA Draft Combine is available on emule, so you can head over there and download the entire program.

Richard Gomez10 said:How did you stumble upon Air Alert II? I’d love to give it a shot myself, and if it actually works, I'll definitely put in the effort to track one down. Can you give me a rough idea of what the routine looks like—maybe some guidelines for those first ten days or so? Just trying to see if it's worth the hustle.

I need to dig out my old manual; once I scan it, I'll send over a link. It has a full chart detailing the specific drill series you cycle through over a twelve-week period.

Thinking back to how I found it... I saw an ad in slam magazine, and when I read a testimonial from some guy in Mexico saying how much it helped him, I figured, "Okay, I need this too." They wouldn't just make up a success story like that, right? So, I swapped my cash for dollars and mailed it to them in an envelope. After about a month of thinking they had just pocketed my money and ghosted me, a letter finally arrived from Charlotte with the manual tucked inside... 😁
That was back in high school, when I was absolutely obsessed with basketball and looking for any excuse to train.
It'll definitely help you, but don't expect miracles—it isn't magic. You still have to put in the work. As for how much progress you'll make... well, that depends entirely on you. 😁

Ethan Perez97 said:you aren't getting anywhere near an extra 3 cm a week... you're just wasting your time🤣 🤣

If that were actually the case, I’d be jumping around like Howard Hughes by now...😁

It worked for me, though I am 6'5", so I probably would have been fine even without it😁

With Air Alert II, you’re looking at gaining about an inch a week over a 12-week stretch. For those first couple of weeks, it’s basically a joke—you’ll be done with your workout in fifteen minutes flat. Eventually, though, things get a little more intense... 😬 but honestly, it actually works.
jadeotter3 said:Miles is absolutely legendary... if they actually made movies out of these classics with the author working on them directly, the humor would be untouchable, just like the Nine Princes in Amber series by Zelazny.
Those Lords of Light books are basically three volumes of pure sci-fi bliss, heavy on the humor and sex... such a wild ride.

I’m with you on that—Milesa definitely needs a screen adaptation. He’ll probably be next in line for a movie, and I wouldn't be surprised if Elijah Wood ends up taking the lead role... 😁

Hardly. It all comes down to Lucas since he’s got a total monopoly on Star Wars. Honestly, maybe it's better this way after the mountain of garbage he pumped out in those last three installments... those newer ones, god, what an absolute joke those prequels were...

I’m asking because I happened to stumble upon him on Slo1 the other day. 😬

Honestly, if they did it right, it could actually turn out great. Just shoot everything against a green screen and render it meticulously to match the look of the comics or the animation... 🙂
The real question is, who would they cast as Cort? Maybe Olivier Martinez if he were a bit taller, or perhaps Billy Zane? 🤔

Sure, some roles fit him perfectly, but as a superhero... that's a tough sell...🙂

It’s a bit of a letdown knowing Cage is in the cast, but I suppose I'll still give it a watch regardless... 😬

Give it about 5 or 6 years, and they’ll definitely start filming those...🙂
crimsonmoose3 said:Not at all. I just can't picture him as a live-action character after seeing that brilliant animated film with the crossroads... 👍

Was he recently on Slo1?
Corto Maltese 🙂
Chloe Thompson said:Ever wonder what inspired the look of Dylan Dog? It’s pretty clear that he was modeled after Rupert Everett!

I know, that's why I'm saying it...😬
Chloe Thompson said:Honestly, I’d give anything to see a movie adaptation of Dylan Dog or Zagora.

If they just brought on board Rupert Everett and Peter Jackson, they could pull off an incredible Dylan Dog movie...😁

Jamie Johnson6 said:It’s a solid horror flick; I can only imagine how much more atmospheric it would feel if it were filmed somewhere in the American Midwest, perhaps drawing inspiration from some old Appalachian folk tale or something along those lines.

Wasn't there a TV show once—if I recall correctly from what John Doe used to say—about our own myths and legends? You could have found some truly fascinating ideas for films there...
briskranger2 said:Raw passion here. No ego-driven lead actor hogging 70% of the screen time; just a pure focus on the erotic tension.
Between Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba... it’s a solid story, though maybe not deep enough to keep certain themes front and center. 😉

Instead of what happened in SS2, they should have brought in those young heavy hitters specifically for the chemistry, letting Sharonica manipulate them all to achieve her goals while walking away scot-free. Instead, they just relegated her to various sex scenes. 👎
