Regarding tickets "Right now, they’re only selling fan pit passes. Once those sell out—which, honestly, will be almost immediately—physical sales for the rest of the seats and everything outside of Chicago will kick off. The price is basically the same across the board; buying early just gives the die-hard fans a shot at grabbing better spots for the show."
I'm honestly pretty stoked about Skunk. I really should have made it out last year, but I ended up getting sick right before the show, so maybe this timing is actually better.😁

Fine. And if that's the case, why are you even hanging around this thread?🤷
I don't really see the point. I guess I'll post when there's actually some news worth talking about. Commenting just for the sake of commenting every single day? Not my style. 😉
Don't take this personally, I'm just speaking from the perspective of an indie fan who can't quite wrap their head around it. I'm genuinely happy for anyone who's enjoying the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, but for now, I think I'll pass. 🙂
Morgan Palmer2 said:It’s happening. They’ve already announced Rage Against the Machine, Liam, and Keith Flint from The Prodigy (Maxim broke his toe playing soccer, so he’s out) as headliners.
Wait, where did Rage Against the Machine come from all of a sudden? 😁 Where are you even getting this info if you're acting so certain.
That’s not a very good excuse, if you ask me.😁 They certainly wouldn't just drop a name like The Prodigy—or anyone else, really—that casually in some mindless exclusive interview. And I doubt they'll show up even if they're free and already over here in the States. They played Coachella before, and honestly, I don't think they have any intention of repeating the same acts; they haven't done it yet. It's not that she'd complain, but I highly doubt it.
8.min She's claiming this could be the last Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival because they aren't happy with how the local government is treating them. The reporter actually says, "...in the future, we might have to forget about two whole days packed with massive headliners like Nick Cave, The Prodigy, Arcade Fire, Sonic Youth, and many others who WERE or are scheduled to perform..." So, I guess please stop spreading misinformation.

I can't quite recall the specifics, all I know is both shows were incredible, though way too short. That first one didn't even hit the hour mark.😠 I'd definitely love to hear Cutie's last album live.
The Prodigy is fine, I guess, but they HAD to play no Good.
Wait, didn't they play that last couple of times when they were in town? I have this vague memory of them playing it at Madison Square Garden. 🤷 My only real wish is to hear them play Breathe/Wake Up live. 😍
They check everyone at the entrance. It’s vital you have your ticket ready, but there isn't any indication on the pass whether it's a discounted version or not—at least not usually. I guess they just use those standard Ticketmaster printouts.
So Grinderman and AF are acting as headliners? Does that mean there's actually a chance System of a Down shows up now, since they could easily pass as headliners😢
while the sun is beating down
And when exactly was the sun beating down at Coachella? 😂 All I remember is rain, mud, and wind😁
Nancy Newman80 said:So they can't just buy more than one ticket? I guess you have to wonder how they even track that.
Last year, I think they were tracking student IDs. I'm not sure what the policy is for the X account now. If you can get in just using that, then maybe you could grab one with an ID and another through the app. Unless they aren't checking names 🤷
