I just looked at it as having nothing to lose. If this doesn't work, I guess the last resort is switching to pills...
My period was a month late—never happened before. I saw my OB-GYN, and she mentioned PCOS. Later, I noticed on my charts she’d also noted endometriosis under 1cm, though she didn't bring it up during the visit. I asked about birth control, said no, and she just gave me some progesterone. Now, I’m not exactly a pill person. I’ve maybe taken two Advils in my life, used antibiotics twice, and honestly, the only thing I touch is Tylenol if my cramps get bad. I try to avoid meds whenever possible, so I decided to look into alternatives. After doing some digging online regarding the PCOS and endo, I put together my own regimen. 😁 I take a sustained-release Vitamin C, magnesium, and selenium once a day. I cut out dairy (sticking to soy/oat milk), bread (just the occasional whole grain stuff), and sugar—not completely, obviously 😁, but I've dialed it way back. I’ve upped my intake of fruit and legumes. Also, three times a week, I apply castor oil packs to my lower abdomen for an hour, followed by a heating pad. I'm already vegetarian, so meat is off the table anyway. On top of all this, I had to get braces, which actually helped me drop 8 pounds in two months—something my doctor actually recommended. My period showed up a week after I started this routine, and my second one arrived with only a 7-day delay. I have a follow-up in six months, so we'll see if the cyst count has dropped or what's happening with the endo.
I heard just the other day that massaging almond oil into your feet works wonders for keeping them warm. I haven't actually tried it yet, but apparently, it really does work. 😁
Hey ladies... I went to my OB-GYN today because I've missed my period for three weeks now. Turns out it's PCOS. She put me on Utrogestan—three times a day for the next eight days, then twice a day on certain days of my cycle later on. I forgot to ask her, though... does the period actually start on the ninth day, or does it happen during those eight days? Or what? Thanks.
I can handle long movies. I didn't mind the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Harry Potter was fine too... but this Benjamin thing just didn't hit for me. 😁 The movie was just off—too watered down, way too long, and honestly, just dragged on forever. I mean, I usually enjoy a longer runtime, but not this one.
Hey there. I need an orthodontist who can squeeze me in ASAP. I’m looking for someone in Brooklyn, and I heard the specialists over at the University of Pennsylvania dental clinic are actually decent. If anyone knows a specific doctor there—name and number would be great. Thanks much. 😉
She goes to a gynecologist, and they tell her if she has a thickened or imperforate Hymen and whether she actually needs surgery. I almost ended up needing that procedure myself, but my doctor told me I wasn't really a typical candidate—she basically said I just needed to grit my teeth and push through the pain. 😁 And man, let me tell you, it hurt. 😠 😠 😂 But everything is fine now. 😍 😛 I can't remember that specific doctor's name, but I know she worked under Dr. Miller and she’s from Johns Hopkins, so she’s done plenty of these procedures. A total expert when it comes to the Hymen, I guess 😁😁. She was actually pretty pleasant to deal with. Anyway, good luck 👍
I used to struggle through my first and second period days just fine. Back then, I’d refuse any meds, just curl up, try to warm my stomach and back, and wait for it to pass. It would last maybe an hour and then I’d feel like a new person. But as I’ve gotten older (23 😁), the pain has intensified, lasting three or four hours now. I take some Albalgin M, but it only holds me for about an hour... which isn't enough. I went to my OB-GYN and they said everything looks normal, but it still hurts. I did a little digging online and stumbled upon this
So, I was wondering if anyone here uses it? Is it actually effective? Thanks 🙂

The movie is solid. It didn't exactly blow my mind, but it’s definitely worth a watch because some of the scenes are great. The camerawork and the costume design are 🙏🙏🙏🙏 just way too good. It isn't overstuffed with special effects, which is a Plus in this case, and I guess it captures that era and mindset perfectly enough.. It's not a perfect ten, but it's one of those "must-see" films.👍
I just started my third pack of Virginia, and by day three, I ended up with an infection. I honestly never would have guessed it could be linked to the Virginia. I’ve been using Canesten for three days now, but I'm not seeing much improvement. I don't exactly have the time to go see a gynecologist right now, and frankly, I'm getting pretty annoyed. I had everything under control for about two years, and now this 😢 happens again. I suppose I'll finish this pack and then stop taking them. I'll stick with the Canesten for another week and then see how things go. 👎
I don't think you can actually delete it... You might just have to keep typing, or maybe just make up a random new password and then copy-paste that...
Personally, I wasn't really feeling this movie. It just didn't land for me. I guess Travolta probably shouldn't have taken this specific role. Michelle Pfeiffer was great, though; that icy persona suited her perfectly, and that Black actor was absolutely stellar. 😍The dancing was solid and the soundtrack was alright... Overall, it’s fine if you just want something to watch.
