Betty Patel17 said:gentlebear36, statistics suggest the odds are essentially a coin flip. It’s a toss-up—I think I understand what you're going through better than most. There are newer treatments on the horizon, which are obscenely expensive right now, but they might just spark a revolution in about ten years.

There isn't really a definitive explanation for cancer yet; even today, we're mostly just speculating. I am so incredibly sorry you're facing this, and I truly, deeply empathize with you. I can't even begin to fathom what it's like to live with the reality that your end might be approaching, day by day, feeling closer with every passing moment. Personally, I think I'd just want it all to be over tomorrow, just to escape the uncertainty.

I've heard so many incredible stories. I know of a child who recovered from a brain tumor as if it had never even happened. I know of someone who survived lung cancer despite undergoing twenty-five rounds of chemo. And then, I also know those who passed away young and very suddenly.

One thing is certain—there are no rules. There truly aren't any. No matter how impossibly difficult it feels to keep moving forward, please fight for yourself. Give it everything you have, because if you don't fight, you won't stand a chance. But if you do fight, you might just surprise both yourself and everyone else with the outcome. Go for it, girl! Good luck.

You've left me feeling a bit raspekmeziti. 🙂

Thank you. What you wrote means a great deal to me. Even though we haven't met, I feel a strange sense of gratitude for your words.

Same to you. 😘

I'll reach out, of course.

But, honestly, after everything I've been through, this fasting feels like nothing at all, I suppose.

In fact, I might actually be looking forward to it; it's truly remarkable how much better one feels when they aren't constantly stuffing themselves with junk. 🙂

As long as the doctors have protocols and therapies available, I suppose I’ll just leave everything in their hands.
If they eventually run out of options, then maybe—just maybe—I’ll look into something else.
In the meantime, if there happens to be a kind soul out there who could walk me through the specifics of
the bone marrow transplant process from a donor, I would truly appreciate it...
Feel free to DM me. Thanks.

Look, they had an endless supply of methods for me, too. The real issue, I think, is that they don't want to admit they aren't entirely sure what they're doing when it comes to terminal illnesses. So, by the time they finally concede defeat, it's often far too late for you to try to fix things with alternative medicine. And their ultimate "method" seems to be harvesting one more organ, just to make sure you can't even die with any dignity. Idiots.🙂

I really hope you know what you're getting into...
I truly hope your story ends differently. Hang in there. 😘

The fundamental issue with this therapy seems to be that it essentially forces you to reject conventional medicine—you know, chemo. It’s an all-or-nothing scenario, I suppose. One or the other. The real question, then, is who can actually afford to turn their back on standard medical care, or more importantly, who would deny their loved ones the chance to be treated by abandoning proven methods for something like "starvation" therapies, which might just exhaust someone to the point of death.

I actually heard about this man in Chicago who walked away from traditional medicine and decided to try fasting along with nothing but sauerkraut juice. Apparently, he stuck to that strictly and ended up right on the edge of death. When his family finally intervened and rushed him to the hospital for IV fluids and such, they eventually concluded there were no more signs of cancer. I honestly don't know if that lasted or if the cancer returned, so I'm missing a pretty vital piece of the puzzle there. I certainly hope it stayed away.

It feels like a "to be or not to be" situation; I imagine that's how one would have to decide. Perhaps it's only a choice worth making for those facing extremely aggressive, advanced stages where the odds are already quite slim.

If we are talking about early-stage diagnosis, I think I would personally stick with chemotherapy. I know several people for whom it actually worked.

Well, you even mentioned that the cancer retreated in that man's case. So, I guess that suggests there might be some merit to it after all.

I respect your perspective, truly. In fact, I was thinking along those exact same lines myself... at least until I got sick. Back then, I figured doctors knew exactly what they were doing, so I just left everything in their hands. And so, they spent months poisoning me. They subjected me to radiation time and time again. They sent me through countless little procedures and surgeries. Only to conclude, in the end, that they couldn't actually help me. That they could only manage to keep me clinging to life for a little while longer, but that I was beyond saving.

There is a certain grim irony in how it all started with just one organ and a single tumor. They waved it off, telling me I'd be as good as new in two months. They kept insisting they knew exactly what they were doing, and that all those harsh drugs, the chemo, the surgeries—it was all for my own good. Yet, somehow, it always seemed to happen that after every single one of those treatments, my body grew weaker, while the tumor grew stronger and spread to another organ.

And this was all during the early stages.

I really wish I had known about this method back then. If I had tried this first, even after forty-two days, if nothing happened, I probably still would have had time to deal with those butchers. Instead, my condition just worsened day by day, only for them to go through all that torture and then politely suggest removing my kidney and my left lung just to make my passing a little easier.👎

emergence said:Why didn't Ivana Popovic recover from her uterine cancer? It seems fine to me too... by the way, gentlebear36, did you try that diet? Doesn't it kill you?🙂)

I tried it for about ten days, and it was actually working. I had to stop because I had just come back from surgery and finished my radiation treatments, so I suppose I was just far too weak at the time.

Later on, I realized the book suggests you shouldn't even attempt this type of treatment until two to six months after traditional cancer therapies, whether that's chemotherapy or surgery.

I am feeling a bit better now, so I’m planning to start again this Monday.

When I look back on those first few days, I remember being terrified to even take a shower because I felt like I might pass out and hurt myself. I genuinely felt as though I were going to die from hunger. 🙂

Well, for the most part, that crisis lasts through the first two days, maybe stretching into the third. After that, I had this feeling that I could live like that for the rest of my life. Not only that, but I felt better than ever. I was studying for exams, cleaning, exercising—everything, really.

I had to stop due to some surgical complications that cropped up in the meantime, but I fully intend to pick it back up.

I have been mentally preparing myself for quite a while; I’ve moved away from all the medications and conventional methods and, honestly, I believe this might actually work.

Nothing else the doctors have offered me so far has done the trick. It just left me more exhausted, and my condition kept declining. Now, I’ve finally hit a wall. And I truly hope this can help me.

If I make it through, I'll let you know how it went. 😉

Well, I suppose I have a bit of time to spare.

I actually ended up buying the book. At first glance, it seemed rather silly, but after flipping through it a few times, I must admit I was somewhat surprised by how decent the advice actually is.

The gist of it is... you don't eat anything for about six weeks. Instead, you drink this juice based on a recipe by Breuss, produced by some Swiss company. You can find it at places like CVS or any local pharmacy. It’s basically a vegetable blend—beet, carrot, celery, potato, and radish. Half a liter costs roughly $10. Apparently, a single glass of this stuff provides all the vitamins, minerals, and trace elements required to sustain life. So, theoretically, you wouldn't be lacking anything essential.

On top of that, you’re supposed to drink heaps of herbal tea. Sage, geranium, kidney-supporting blends, calendula, chamomile, and so on. They supposedly provide energy and act as natural healers. The idea is that they stimulate the body's elimination organs, kickstart the kidneys, flush out toxins, and help with inflammation. For every specific ailment, there’s a particular tea recommended to drink.

Now, I guess the catch would be the lack of protein, which we obviously need to survive. This is where his explanation comes in, and it goes something like this:

"Since the body cannot survive without protein, the blood—which requires protein—seeks it out from anything superfluous, such as swelling, accumulations of impurities, or tumors. It is essentially a scalpel-free surgery performed by the blood itself."

In other words, he believes that after fasting for a certain period, the body begins to digest tumors or other growths causing illness. According to him, almost any disease can be addressed through a forty-two-day fast.

If you are healthy, you might opt for a cleansing course for preventative reasons or weight loss. In that case, you use the juices and prescribed teas, but the regimen lasts only three weeks. During this time, you might have some broth or onion soup just to get some protein (unless, of course, you have a tumor that the body can utilize for that purpose). Even then, you probably won't get sick or feel weak. Nothing bad will happen if you don't eat; it’s mostly a matter of psychology, I suppose.

There is quite a lot more to it. If there is anything specific you are curious about, please feel free to ask.

The placebo effect doesn't change what shows up on a lab report.

But you have real people—actual human beings with names and lives—swearing from experience that they've recovered. And honestly, those subjective accounts can sometimes carry as much weight as any clinical diagnostic report.

I suppose even quite a few doctors are willing to support this kind of approach, and some might even suggest alternative methods themselves.
Total Cure for Cancer and Leukemia? in Health ·
So, I’ve been looking into this book by Rudolf Breuss, who basically argued that fasting, when paired with certain herbal teas, could potentially address just about any ailment one might face.

If anyone here happens to have some firsthand experience—or perhaps even stories from someone else—regarding this kind of dietary approach, I would truly appreciate it if you could share them.

On the other hand, if this isn't really your area of expertise, I'd kindly ask that you refrain from posting anything dismissive or unkind.

Thanks.

Because of that, I thought it might be helpful to have a dedicated thread here on the forum where we "lucky" 2% could share our experiences, swap advice, or just offer a little virtual shoulder to lean on.

So, is there anyone else here dealing with this nuisance? How are you managing, do you have any sage advice, or anything at all...

A friend of mine has psoriasis. She finds that applying some local ointment from a pharmacy in Chicago helps her affected areas, though she has to do it every single day. It tends to flare up periodically.

Getting some sun can help too. Some people even swear by tanning beds.

Since things seem to get worse when you're stressed, maybe try doing yoga or some other sort of nonsense like that.

Unfortunately, there isn't a permanent cure. But I guess you can at least manage the symptoms or prevent them from getting much worse.

Good luck. 👋

As far as amino acids go, it really isn't some foolish notion; they are present in plants and spirulina too.
I’ve been vegan for six years, and I actually gave birth to a remarkably strong, large boy, even though I didn't eat any meat during my pregnancy.
Regarding the idea that developing children shouldn't follow a vegetarian diet—it seems to me like complete nonsense; the crucial part is simply balancing the nutrition correctly, you know, ensuring plenty of vegetables, legumes, grains, and algae, though I suppose one would need to adjust those ratios specifically for a child, since they likely require larger quantities than an adult might.

Did you happen to count the little one's toes?😛

It’s actually been scientifically proven—though I suppose one could argue about the nuances—that humans are fundamentally vegan.🙂

I'm curious where you even found that nonsense, honestly. Is there an actual scientific study out there somewhere to back it up, or does such a thing even exist?

I suppose there might be some scientific consensus suggesting that pigs are actually vegan? And what about lions? Or tigers, perhaps?

It’s honestly quite remarkable how much modern science can achieve these days; I suppose it truly does feel like they're performing miracles. 🙂

Tahitian Noni juice in Health ·

I suppose one might wonder what "noni" actually is, though I guess it’s probably best to just say it’s a fruit from the South Pacific that people seem quite passionate about. 😕 )

I suppose one could argue that Tahitian Noni juice is quite the fascinating subject, though I suspect its true merits remain somewhat debated.

Morinda citrifolia—better known to most of us as noni—is this evergreen tree that produces rather unassuming, potato-shaped fruit. It grows across the Pacific islands and Polynesia, where it has seemingly played a vital role since time immemorial in treating all sorts of ailments, ranging from digestive issues like constipation and diarrhea to infections, skin inflammation, sore throats, or even just bruises. There’s an old saying that noni is really only ever used by those who are actually sick, mostly because I suppose a healthy person simply couldn't stomach that absolutely horrendous taste.

I suppose one might consider how this could be applied, though I'm not entirely certain.

For years now, people have been spinning all sorts of tall tales regarding Tahitian Noni juice, and I suppose it’s become quite the catch-all remedy for just about everything under the sun. It seems like you can find claims linking it to anything from arthritis, atherosclerosis, and urinary tract infections to digestive issues, cancer, and chronic fatigue syndrome. People even suggest it might help with poor circulation, the flu, sore throats, constipation, diabetes, addiction, eye inflammation, fever, fractures, ulcers, gingivitis, headaches, heart disease, high blood pressure, weak immunity, intestinal parasites, kidney issues, menstrual cramps, tonsillitis, respiratory problems, sinusitis, skin inflammations, and even heart attacks.

Much of the hype surrounding Tahitian Noni juice seems to stem from people recounting their own recovery stories, though I suppose we can't ignore the influence of some rather savvy direct marketers who have been successfully moving this product for years. While its supposed range of benefits is incredibly broad, one might argue that such claims should be approached with a healthy dose of skepticism, even if we don't entirely discount the plant's inherent qualities.

I suppose one might wonder about the proper way to go about using this, though I guess the specific instructions might vary depending on the situation.

Pure juice is probably the most common way people go about this. If you’re feeling healthy and just want to stay that way, I suppose taking about two tablespoons—roughly 30 ml—on an empty stomach or maybe thirty minutes before a meal might be the way to go. For those dealing with actual health issues, you might need up to four tablespoons, though I'd suggest avoiding coffee, alcohol, or cigarettes for at least half an hour afterward. Since life gets busy, Encian also offers noni capsules, which are quite convenient to just take first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Expert opinion, I suppose.

I suppose we should probably be upfront about the fact that there isn't exactly a mountain of rigorous scientific research out there regarding how noni actually affects the human body. While there have been a handful of studies conducted on animals—which, I guess, suggest that noni might possess some anti-tumor properties, help bolster a weakened immune system, or even assist with pain management—it's all still quite preliminary. I truly believe that as this mysterious plant gains more traction in the States, it will eventually compel the scientific community to take a much closer look at everything it can actually do.

Straight from the Pacific.

The Encian noni juice is produced directly on Tahiti, following the exact same traditional methods used by the island's ancient inhabitants. They are incredibly selective, picking only the highest quality leaves and fruit based strictly on their color; I suppose when that deep green starts shifting toward a lighter shade, it’s the signal that harvest time has finally arrived. If they missed that window, the fruit would likely lose those precious enzymes we're looking for. Once harvested, the leaves are layered at the bottom of the container with the fruit placed right on top, and instead of pressing them, the whole mixture is just left to soften and mature naturally, which allows that valuable juice to slowly release itself.

Once we’ve carefully monitored the fermentation process until the juice reaches its absolute peak potency, it’s moved into transport tanks and shipped over to the States. There, within fully licensed and strictly regulated facilities, it gets bottled for retail. We also run rigorous quality checks and low-temperature pasteurization to keep everything perfect. I suppose by blending ancient Tahitian wisdom with our modern technology, we manage to produce a juice of truly unparalleled quality.

As I’ve mentioned before, the original noni juice has such an incredibly bitter, sharp taste that I suppose most people would find it quite difficult to actually stomach. Because of that, they’ve added just a tiny hint—about 0.2%—of natural raspberry juice to the Encian version to take the edge off.

I suppose one might consider whether quality assurance is truly attainable, though I suspect it remains somewhat of an elusive ideal.

I suppose it’s worth noting that throughout the entire lifecycle of Encian noni juice—from the moment the fruit ripens on the tree right through to the bottling and encapsulation process—nothing was chemically treated or diluted, nor were any sugars, sweeteners, or artificial colors ever added, I guess.

- This juice is entirely organic, sourced from plantations in Tahiti where they grow everything without any fertilizers or pesticides.

- To ensure you're getting the best, its purity is rigorously tested in a lab.

- Plus, it has been fully approved for sale by all the relevant domestic regulatory agencies here in the US.

Authentic Tahitian juice

100% undiluted organic juice

For centuries, Noni (Morinda Citrifolia) has been used for various purposes in Tahiti, where the locals actually regard it as a sort of "mythical plant." The Noni fruit is incredibly packed with vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes, and—perhaps most importantly—the alkaloid xeronine.

• To bolster the body's immune response, particularly during and after medical treatments
• A refreshing tonic designed for bodily regeneration
• A high-value regulator of cellular functions
• Encian uses exclusively organic Noni grown on the islands of Tahiti, sourced from a verified supplier
