Chicken noodle soup recipe in Health ·
Does this chili recipe actually work? It seems a bit strange—frankly, a little odd—to me. Of course, you'll drop weight the moment you stop eating, but living solely on soup? I have to wonder how healthy that really is.
Look, if you can't secure any vacation time—and I know from experience that it's tough—your only move seems to be calling in sick. But playing those games can really backfire on you. You start by faking it just to get out, and before you know it, you actually end up getting sick. I knew someone who went down that road once and never looked back.
Inheritance or something else...? in Law ·
Sandra Parker3 said:It’s a good thing you actually listened to some advice 🙂. Otherwise, you could’ve ended up signing one of those infamous life estate or perpetual lease agreements.
In theory, people ought to know better or at least ask for help.
But how are you supposed to know what you don't know?😕

They suggested that option too, but my dad and I decided together that a straightforward sale is better—mostly so some distant relative doesn't suddenly decide they deserve a slice of the pie. This way, we'll have all the paperwork squared away and 🙂
We're just waiting for the summer holidays to wrap up before we finalize everything.
Inheritance or something else...? in Law ·
My father originally intended to transfer his house and a small portion of his estate through a gift deed. We sat down with an attorney, but he advised against it—noting that gift deeds can be easily contested in court. So, we walked away from that idea. Instead, we decided to structure everything as a formal sale.
Virginia and fungal infections in Women's Health ·
Not all fungi fall under the category of Catherine. I personally never dealt with it—but if you don't address an overgrowth early enough, it can certainly turn into that type of issue.
Virginia and fungal infections in Women's Health ·
Fungal infections have absolutely nothing to do with birth control pills. Honestly, it feels like every other woman deals with this—regardless of whether they're on the pill or not. Dealing with yeast infections requires real persistence. You need to use something like Monistat for at least a full month; otherwise, you’re just masking the symptoms rather than actually clearing them out. That’s what both my gynecologist and dermatologist told me. In my own experience, I kept using Monistat for a month even after the symptoms vanished. It's also smart to use it preventatively once you've cleared the infection—applying it a few times won't hurt you, and it helps stay ahead of it. All of this is based on what worked for me personally, following my doctor's advice.
I wear glasses—minimal prescription, really—and I’m completely happy with them. You can find frames in just about any color or shape these days. Some people tell me they actually suit me quite well. They give me a bit more of a professional edge, which helps since I have a pretty youthful face.
If you’re truly not a fan of frames, though, go with contacts. Just make sure your hands are spotless before you start messing with them.
Stomach acid issues in Health ·
I wrote that bit about the thyroid based on my own personal experience. I went to see a doctor because I was dealing with those exact—absolutely identical—symptoms, and they diagnosed me with a thyroid issue right away. It was. Now, that’s just my story—I don't see any reason to come for the attacks just because I mentioned "thyroid."
Ingrown toenail help! in Health ·
Look, do some digging into that procedure. I have no idea what the recovery timeline actually looks like—or if there’s significant pain involved. Get the full story. If you decide against the surgery, then you'll just need a solid podiatrist to keep things managed on a regular basis.
Ask Andrew Rodriguez9 about the operation—he’s been through it. He'll definitely be able to give you some clarity.
Stomach acid issues in Health ·
Thyroid issues? I'm guessing it might be related to excess acid reflux and weight loss. Are you eating normally—or have you actually cut back on your food intake?
Ingrown toenail help! in Health ·
My mother deals with those exact same issues. And honestly—surgery is useless—because the nail just grows back anyway (they basically rip the nail out, which is only a temporary fix since the regrowth starts immediately). My mother has a podiatrist who handles her foot care, and she’s an absolute expert when it comes to ingrown nails. Mom is happy with the results, and frankly, so am I—I don't have to listen to her complaining about the pain every single time she has to deal with trimming them.
I feel my best during the winter months—it’s why I tend to relocate to colder climates. Spring always seems to completely drain me. Honestly, I feel like I'm running on empty. It just seems that as I get older, everything becomes increasingly difficult.
Is marijuana actually a drug? in Health ·
Most of my friends smoke marijuana. I don't. They only smoke when they have it on hand—if it's not there, they simply don't. It isn't an addiction for them, because they don't experience those frantic urges to light up the moment they run out. If it's available, great; if it isn't, life goes on just fine enough.
Brain fog / Losing focus in Health ·
Walter Smith8 said:So, is this Lecitone stuff really just for old ladies? Because what about people actually working a job who are also struggling to focus and deal with memory fog?

I believe it should work for everyone—though there might be subtle differences in efficacy. You should probably ask a pharmacist.
As for fish oil? I honestly don't think I could handle it. I can't even stomach canned tuna, let alone the oil. If it's natural, it shouldn't cause any harm. Right?

Is the product actually called Amway or Formula 1? And what’s the price point?
I started taking lecithin a few weeks back. I don't deal with those afternoon crashes anymore—no more chronic fatigue. I’ve also noticed that when I’m reading, I actually absorb and retain most of it immediately—something that was impossible for me before. So, regarding the lecithin 👍
Dealing with hemorrhoids in Health ·
Consistent hygiene is vital. Avoid using toilet paper—or if you must, use it very sparingly. Every single time after a bowel movement, wash with lukewarm water and apply some Factu ointment. If an inflammation flares up now and you treat it regularly, you might prevent it from worsening. I dealt with two inflamed ones myself—absolute nightmare, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone. I went to the doctor, and they gave me the exact same advice I’m giving you. If things actually get inflamed, use Preparation H—it clears up in two days (tested this on my own skin). Eat plenty of fiber and stay hydrated. Also, hold off on strenuous physical activity for a while. Heavy lifting at the gym can also trigger hemorrhoids—that's something I read in a news segment. Take care.
Cranberry tea recipes? in Health ·
You can pick up pre-made tea blends at any local CVS or Walgreens. Alternatively, if you head over to a health food store, you can grab some dried cranberries and brew your own. That specific tea is incredibly effective for flushing out the urinary tract.
Brain fog / Losing focus in Health ·
I didn't realize that was something doctors were actually recommending these days. My physician told me quite clearly—and I take his advice seriously—that I need to significantly increase my intake of fruits and vegetables (which essentially makes up my entire diet anyway) and get outside for more fresh air every single day (something I already make a point to do). He insisted that once I follow through, the fatigue will lift and my focus will return.
Honestly, I think I might need to find a new doctor.

Thanks—I appreciate it. 🙂
Best of luck to you too.
