I’ve run into a bit of a situation... my lips have been incredibly dry lately—not quite cracked yet, just parched—and I’ve been using Vaseline pretty regularly to protect them from the cold weather. But tonight, things took a turn. My lip actually split open—it looks almost like a clean cut, quite deep, too. It’s bleeding, though nothing extreme... I applied some Vaseline and it seems fine as long as I don't move my mouth much. What should I be using to treat this? Is there a specific ointment I need? Will this kind of split heal on its own, or should I go out and pick up a specialized cream?😕Thanks, and please excuse the silly topic!
I’ve been turning this surgery over in my mind for ages now—back in April of last year, I finally made up my mind to go through with it, though I haven't quite found the nerve to actually pull the trigger... 😢 Honestly, I feel like I’ve read everything there is to read—every single thread on these forums and every corner of the internet regarding rhinoplasty. I know deep down I’d be thrilled if I could just change my profile, 😁 but at this point, it feels like a pipe dream because my anxiety is just through the roof!
So, ladies... how long did it take for you all to finally commit? And which surgeon would you suggest? Also, is it a bad idea to aim for a summer appointment, given the heat and everything involving the swelling and molds? Thanks!
I wonder if Glumicic actually has any patience... because when I was out with a friend at the local theater, I got the impression he doesn't really listen—it’s almost as if he thinks people are asking him stupid questions. It felt less like a consultation and more like someone selling bread where you just want whatever works...😁 rather than a whole new nose or something else entirely...
I could probably just get this surgery done at the local hospital... because of my septum... but honestly, I think I’d much rather go to a private clinic... This isn't exactly a small thing for me, and while I know it doesn't technically have to be a big deal, I'd feel a lot more secure having it handled privately... My only real worry now is how quickly they discharge you there. Like, do they really send you home that same evening or maybe the next morning? And what if something actually goes wrong... I highly doubt a private clinic stays fully staffed through the night... whereas I see people being kept in the hospital for seven days after surgery here... For those of you who had this done at home, how did you handle the follow-up appointments? Which day did you go back? And what happens if there's some kind of complication or significant swelling? Honestly, I'm feeling pretty lost about all this 😢
So, I’ve finally managed to scrape together the funds for my surgery, but now I’m stuck facing the biggest hurdle: actually choosing a surgeon... I was originally torn between Glušac and Kinčl—though, to be honest, I’ve been hearing some unsettling things about Glušac lately... then again, I’ve seen plenty of satisfied women on this forum raving about Kinčl...
Has anyone here had any actual experience working with Dr. Kinčl? I know one girl who called them after her procedure, and they just kept telling her everything was perfectly fine and there was nothing to worry about—without even performing an exam... when she finally showed up at the clinic, the nurse just changed her clothes and that was it; he wasn't even around... hm...
Or perhaps Ostojić? I really don't know anymore... 😕🤷
Blackberry wine and Floradix really did the trick for me... I’d been dealing with constant fatigue issues for what felt like forever... I’m not entirely sure if they actually "cured" anything, but here I am four months later feeling completely fine... all that persistent exhaustion I used to struggle with has just... vanished.
I’m starting this thread because I wasn't quite sure where else to post this... so, here goes. I just started taking unknown, and since I was on that other antibiotic right before this, I feel absolutely terrible—mostly constant nausea and this really strange, lingering taste in my mouth. I did some reading online suggesting that side effects like stomach pain or diarrhea are possible, though they're supposedly supposed to be mild... so, if anyone else has been through this or has any insight, I'd love to hear it. It feels like everything is hitting at once—my digestion is a mess and my sinuses are acting up, too. Thanks!
I personally have quite a few Levi’s—and sure, the quality is there—but I’m just not feeling them lately... honestly, I’m at a bit of a loss when it comes to finding pants I actually like. It feels like everywhere I look, nothing really catches my eye...:(
@ Amy Moore38—I hear you, I really do... it’s the exact same thing over here. But honestly, it’s getting to the point where it's just unbearable—especially when he starts cracking all the windows right before bed because the room is sweltering. It’s just exhausting
I’ve honestly never really struggled with dark circles under my eyes before. But now—it's been over a week and they just won't budge. At first, I figured it was just lack of sleep, but even after catching up on some much-needed rest for the last three days, they're still right there... I’m at a bit of a loss here. I have high-end foundations and concealers in my kit—the good stuff—that should be able to mask them, but they still manage to peek through. I just don't get it...
I’m in the exact same boat—this cold is absolutely relentless... I feel like I could layer up until I can barely move, and yet I still can't get comfortable. It isn't even when I'm out walking down the street, either; it’s more of an indoor thing. Even with the heat running in the apartment... or during the night... I find myself needing a heavy quilt and at least two extra blankets just to stand a chance...
So, what’s the verdict on the guarana at the end? Is it actually worth a shot or should I pass? And for those of you who struggle with speed reading just as much as I do—would you even bother trying it? Personally, if I just grab a cup of coffee and try to study, I’m out like a light before I even finish the first chapter...
swiftpanther102 said:What exactly did the doctor tell you—that this is all being caused by low blood pressure?😕
Yeah, they told me it might just be my blood pressure acting up. But honestly—it’s not like my pressure stays low all the time; there are days when it’s perfectly normal, which is why I find this whole thing so strange... I’m feeling that same level of exhaustion—it's honestly a bit much. I can't quite put my finger on why...
I'm on the hunt for a shop with some seriously wild socks—you know, the kind of quirky stuff you can't find everywhere... I know I can track something down here in the city, but I was wondering if we have a specific spot around here known for that sort of thing?
I’ve been dealing with those exact same symptoms myself—I've been loading up on Vitamin C and trying to stick to a super clean diet and everything... but honestly, nothing seems to be helping 🤷
Oh, come on—you’re telling me nothing is allowed for thirty whole days until 7 p.m.? What happens if someone has an absolutely grueling workday and actually needs some fuel? Or what if you can't even manage a coffee or a juice in the morning before the fasting window kicks in...
