I actually have faith in Vukic. I’d give him a shot. Caleb was out of commission for a long time, and he's already 33...

Honestly, I don't think anyone in recent handball history has ever thought it was a good idea to take a guy who's over 6'7" and 220 pounds—someone who's probably spent his entire career playing pivot 😁—and stick him on the wing. Personally, I'd stick with Caleb.

I really hope that doesn't happen. But it looks like it's a toss-up between him or Spoljaric. Since Anusic was pushed into that defensive role, Spoljaric ended up being the odd man out. So, the real question right now is whether it'll be Duvnjak or Spoljaric. If you ask me, Spoljaric is more likely to lose his spot since Anusic took it, whereas Duvnjak makes for a much better backup for Balica.

Spoljaric played pretty poorly in the last tournament. I could see them putting Duvnjak in during those few attacks when they sub out Balica just to give him some much-needed experience.
There’s always that one play where we look to Vori out on the left wing 🙏
frozentiger6 said:Three guys are dropping out—one goalie, one left winger, and one defenseman.

So we've got Smith, Caleb/Vukic, and maybe... I don't know, Spoljaric, or Vukovic. Surely they won't make Valcic play.

Then it's Smith, Vukic, and Vukovic.
I wonder how many more of them we'll actually have to write off
I get the feeling Kelentrić is running into some friction with Červar lately. Also, looking at the goalie situation—if Losert doesn't pull through and find his rhythm, we are going to be in serious trouble. Honestly, based on how they’re handling this 3-2-1 defense, they might as well skip practice altogether.
Yeah, I’m thinking the same thing. If Metlicic gets sidelined by an injury or just happens to be having an off night, the perimeter defense is going to fall straight onto Lackovic, Duvnjak, and Balic.

I wonder why he didn't get subbed in during the Euro when those Canadians sorted out their little mess? He was only on the pitch for a few minutes before getting sent straight back to the bench.

btw.
You would’ve gotten an answer sooner if you’d just posted your question in the KŽ section under Politics. I honestly just stumbled upon it by accident.

thanks, I was just curious, like I said before. Honestly, I expected these kinds of silly excuses anyway, so don't even bother next time.

Maybe we’ll get a James Bond movie about this one day. If so, we could finally make some real money off it!

Every military is terrified of their secrets getting out, yet this one is basically handing over all its CIA intel to basic training recruits. Tonight's movie lineup: 6:00 PM, Battle of the Mississippi
9:00 PM, CIA Secrets (spies, please call ahead to reserve your seats)

Joseph Kern11 said:I noticed those specific terms popping up in the appeal books. Well, I tried writing something about it before, but it got deleted. Probably because it didn't quite fit the topic of appeals. So, I’m starting a fresh thread here. Let's call this one a collection of absurdities and blunders from both "anti-fascists" and "fascists." Let's see where this goes. I'll kick things off.

I actually posted this already, but they wiped it. My old man served his time in the US Army, partly stationed in New York City. He was in the military police. He and some other draftees were shown an actual raw footage clip taken by a combat cameraman documenting how the US Army handled the so-called Bugojno Group landing. The story goes that a few of them barricaded themselves in some cave on a hill with a machine gun. Then, the captain orders a charge. He’s the first one out, pistol waving in the air. Everyone follows him right into the line of fire. They mowed them down like rabbits. I can't recall the exact body count—maybe a few dozen, maybe a hundred. Anyway, the whole point of the film was a lesson on how NOT to fight. Of course, that was supposed to be a classified military secret, not something you'd discuss outside of official circles. Those tapes probably still sit in some US Army archive in New York City to this day. So much for those brilliant anti-fascists.

And sure, they just show top-secret military footage to basic draftees, right?

Man, if you have the power to delete my stuff, you might as well tell me who you are. Honestly, I don't even care about the reason, and I definitely won't cause a scene.

I didn't want to go through the hassle of starting a whole new thread for no reason, but I was just wondering if anyone knows who deleted my posts over on the politics board

In an ocean of bad movies (at least if you ask me) produced since we got our independence, this one is definitely a step up. It’s nothing groundbreaking, just a solid film overall.
We could finally start building some serious depth on the bench, which is pretty much the only way we're ever going to win the World Cup

You can find the full schedule and all the promos over on the FOX website.

And please, just give their announcement a read... they're calling them the "top experts." 😂

Maybe Brkić and Lugonjić? 🤣

Personally, I always had a soft spot for the racing in Canada. 🙂

We don't even have real expert commentators for sports that are way more popular than skiing, so where are we supposed to find them for skiing? If it weren't for stars like Janica, most people wouldn't even care what was happening or know where to tune in.
frozentiger6 said:The price tag for kids is crazy. There's zero chance Balic is leaving Portland anytime soon, at least not in our lifetime.

He’s worth way too much money. He’s got such high status there that he basically gets to decide when he plays, how he plays, and how long he stays on the court. Working under a coach like Zupo—who everyone knows is a total authority figure—Balic is treated like a literal god. It’s unheard of for other players; they don't get asked for advice, but Balic? He can do whatever he wants. I mean, come on, the guy is just a legend.

But you also have to consider that his family moved back home to the States. And as for the cash, don't even worry about it—he's got Todoric backing him. If he could sink money into that wreck of a Hajduk team, he's fine.
So, what's the deal with Todoric bringing in Balic?
