Yeah... I think we've got this one in the bag. Honestly, our guys aren't even breaking a sweat, and the opposition isn't putting up much of a fight either... it feels more like a preseason scrimmage than anything else. 🤔 Not that I'm complaining... might be good for the squad to catch their breath a little.

Their defense is holding up okay, but Blazic is a total liability out there 🤮, and they keep making these amateur mistakes on offense that just kill their momentum. 🙄

Dzomba really needs to sit out, maybe put Horvat in his place... he looks totally lost out there; he can't commit to a shot and he's too hesitant to drive to the hoop.

Sprem is looking sharp from the wing, but man, he is useless on the defensive end.

But the idiots went out against the Russians, who play in red-and-white, and they put on white-and-red. For god's sake, Bobo... 😠...it’s no wonder Pero messed up that many passes when he thought he was feeding Balić but ended up hitting some random guy instead. 😂

If Srbogora plays in those blue jerseys, our guys have to go in white-and-red... preferably with as many checkers as possible. 😈

I honestly have no clue how today is going to play out. It feels like a toss-up: either the Mexicans are going to be playing out of their minds just to spite us, or they’ve completely lost their edge and we’ll end up crushing them with nothing more than our bench players. I guess you just can't tell, and that uncertainty is what's really eating at me today.

If things were any worse, I’d have to admit they’re actually a better crew—our guys, not them. 😛I mean, damn, given those injuries and the way they were playing as a unit, anything could have happened. And we can't forget how we always seem to play so incredibly tense and tight whenever we face those teams from the old North America region... honestly, I guess it doesn't even matter what sport we're talking about or how massive the gap in talent is, we just struggle to find our rhythm against them.

Honestly, thank god Džomba isn't sidelined with an injury, because the rest of the roster looks like they’re just barely holding it together with athletic tape and prayers. It’s honestly wild to watch this tournament; the entire starting lineup seems to be struggling, and sometimes I genuinely wonder how they even manage to stay on the floor given how beat up they are. I guess that's just what happens when you're dealing with absolute legends, though. 🙏, so that's how it goes)

Anyway, looking at these results... if the Russians and the Danes had played to a draw, we might have even survived a loss against the Mexicans just to move on... or maybe not? The real kicker is that we’re playing first today, so I guess we basically have to win.

Now you can really see how much that game against the Russians actually cost them. They could have easily rested their starters today and saved their best players for the semifinals.

I’m not going to try and predict the score, because I don't want some MEP thinking they’ve actually got the gift of prophecy. 😬

So, I spent today doing some deep cleaning on my rig. Dusting off the motherboard and all that, and I finally got around to applying some fresh thermal paste to the CPU. 😬

Anyway, I've got it clocked at 1510 MHz and it seems stable for now. It's been running Prime95 continuously for about 6 hours, and temps are sitting around 40 degrees Celsius. (Hit 43 at its peak). I'm planning to leave it running overnight, though I'll crack the window in my room to hopefully keep things a bit cooler. 😈

I haven't touched the voltages yet... not by any chance. I'm sticking with the stock 1.5V for the time being.

I did see that people have pushed this specific processor on Abit boards up to 1800 MHz. My goal is to hit 1700 MHz without letting the temperature climb past 45.

Whether there will be a noticeable difference? Honestly, I have no clue... maybe not much, but hey, every little bit helps.

I still need to figure out how to overclock the memory...🤔...or does that just scale automatically with the frequency? 😕

I'm thinking about doing a little overclocking. It’s nothing crazy, really—I've just got this Pentium III running at 1300 MHz and I want to see how far I can push it. Honestly, I haven't really messed around with anything like this before, so I figured I should probably ask first. 😬

For context, the board is an ASUS motherboard, the RAM is 2xCrucial SDRAM, and I'm using a basic Cooler Master cooler.

If anyone here has experience overclocking a setup similar to mine, could you drop a comment? I'd love to know what kind of speeds you hit, what kind of Voltage you ended up using, if you needed better cooling or whatever.

Look, worst case scenario? He lands in 9th. But I guess if things go our way, he might pull off something even better. 😉

Raich, Rocco, and Kalle Palander are looking untouchable again in this first run, and honestly, Thomas Grandi kind of surprised me with how solid that run was.

As for the coverage, both SLO2 and NBC are doing live broadcasts of the first run starting at 4 PM.

The second run broadcast starts at 7 PM on SLO 2, and you can catch the replay on NBC at 8 PM. 😠 (And hey, once the slalom is over, maybe just throw on some random B-movie so you're ready to watch The Godfather Part II by 11 PM 🙄 )

I’ve been sitting here staring at the screen, trying to figure out what to actually say about this movie, but honestly, I just can't bring myself to do it.

But fine, here's my two cents, even if it's brief...

It’s basically pure eye candy designed for kids. It’s absolutely loaded with special effects, but once you look past that, the story and the characters feel totally hollow. I guess it's fine if you just want to kill two and a half hours and turn your brain off completely.👍

In my opinion, the third installment was definitely the best one so far.
