Honestly, I’m just glad we actually spoke up and managed to shake things up a bit. I really hope this sub stays democratic and we don't end up being total slaves to whatever whim a moderator decides to pull.
Roger Allen3 got picked because we all agreed (though personally, I was rooting for that old-school guy since he was one of the few who actually wanted the job), so I'm praying he actually listens to what the majority of us want.
I'm still standing my ground on having three active mods, though...
Oh please, mellowcanyon20, give me a break... there's no such thing as democracy here.

congratulate Serse 👍
Man, don't flatter yourself, your vote didn't change a damn thing. 😢
Yo, for everyone still grinding on those old-school Championship Manager 01/02 days, there's a brand new update out for the current season!

Just hit up community.electronicarts.com and scour their forums for some working links...
Roger Allen3 said:I’ve never actually touched CM3, but honestly, CM4 is killer—even if it’s absolutely riddled with about six billion bugs. I mean, if you think CM4 is garbage, then what the hell are we supposed to say about 03/04? That thing is basically unplayable.
Look, there’s no debate here: CM 03/04 is way more fun to play than CM4.
And don't even get me started—CM 01/02 is hands down the greatest CM ever made!
Alright guys, I can see most of you have zero clue about how these manager games actually evolved...
Back in the day, we just had Championship Manager, and man, it was gold. Championship Manager 3 was hands down the GOAT, developed by Electronic Arts and published by Eidos.
Then CM4 happened, which was an absolute train wreck. Why? Because the publisher (Eidos) basically forced Electronic Arts to rush out CM4 before it was ready. It turned out to be total garbage...
Because of all that fighting, Eidos (the publisher) and Electronic Arts (the devs) ended up splitting ways.
Electronic Arts found themselves a new publisher (Sega), while Eidos went off with a new "developer"—BGS.
The kicker is that Electronic Arts lost the rights to the actual name, the brand, and even the game's UI look. So here’s the deal:
Eidos and BGS are working on a game called: Championship Manager 5
while Sega and Electronic Arts are making Madden NFL 2005.
That's the big split right there.
I grabbed the Madden NFL 2005 Demo today and holy crap, the game looks awesome!!! Seriously, the interface is totally different, you guys seriously need to check this out. You can grab the demo at www.sigames.com (it's only 35mb).
You can also check out screenshots on the same site, so go nuts...
Madden NFL 2005 drops on November 5th, 2004.
Now, a quick word on CM5.
CM5 isn't out yet; its release date is November 1st, 2004. You can peep some screenshots of that one over at www.championshipmanager.co.uk
So basically, in November, we're getting two different manager games. Personally, I'm leaning towards Madden NFL because it's being built by the same legends who created the original CM series (1, 2, 3, 01-02, etc.).
Madden NFL has a new crew behind it, so I'm a little skeptical, honestly.
Don't get sucker punched by the old name—what used to be CM is now Madden NFL, and CM5 is something else entirely...
Hopefully, that clears things up for you. If not, just hit up

www.fmfaq.com
Anyway, I'm gonna go play for a bit before heading home.

Are we talking CM or FM? Look, there's a massive difference...
Man, this FM is absolutely insane.....
Electronic Arts just dropped the Madden NFL 2005 demo at 2:05 PM.
I’m pretty sure I’ll be the first guy in the States to jump on this thing. 😁
Championship Manager 5 hits on November 1st, then Madden NFL 2005 follows on November 5th.
Anyway, just thought you guys should know.
And what did I tell you all 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂
Majakovski, my bad for giving you such trash advice earlier—honestly, just ignore every single one of my posts on this topic because they were absolute nonsense.
And hey, sorry to anyone else who was stressed out by my total bullshit.

Probably way more than you ever could, unfortunately.
So tell me, how many times have you hiked up Mount Rainier?
Or maybe how many times have you ground your gears up a steep hill on a high-gear bike ride?
briskjackal5 said:About what?
About that brilliant little plan of yours to build muscle by sprinting 400s, 800s, and 500m intervals up Mount Rainier?
Yeah, I’m talking about it, man, and honestly? That idea is total garbage.
So, how many times have you actually conquered Mount Rainier?
Laganini said:What a load of absolute garbage!!!
Since when does muscle mass just morph into fat?
btw. Once you stop training, your muscles just shrink, plain and simple!
Look, okay, not literally turning into pure lard, but once you stop maintaining all that mass, everything just sags and looks totally soft and flabby.. It’s not fat.
briskjackal5 said:He’s not gonna build any muscle doing this.
[/B]
Yeah, sure you can think that... seriously, use your brain for once...
swifthawk3 said:What do you mean there's no benefit? People are actually obsessed with this stuff!😁
Look, if you really want to think about it, ask yourself why you're even hitting the gym in the first place... Is it just to impress some girl, or is it for your own damn satisfaction, your health, and your future?
Because honestly, all those muscles they're grinding for at the gym? They'll just turn into a pile of fat the second they stop training.
What kind of gym? Are you freaking kidding me?
If you actually want to get fit, here’s what you need:
1. Pure grit
2. About 2.5 hours every single day
3. A mountain bike
4. Rock-solid core strength
5. Serious patience
Here's the deal: you take that bike and tear up some steep trails in the Rockies. You're gonna grind like hell. Stick to heavy gears to build that raw power, and by the time you stand up, your legs are absolute jelly—then you sit back down and your lungs feel like they're on fire while you're pedaling through it.
Next up is running. If you're looking to actually pack on some muscle, hit those 400m, 500m, or 800m intervals. Throw in some sprints every now and then too, though don't overdo it unless you want to end up in physical therapy. Once you've done that, go tackle some hills.
Forget the gym; that stuff is for lazy bums and weaklings who just want to build useless mass that doesn't do anything for them. If you follow this, you'll actually build functional muscle and be in peak condition at the same time.
Man, what a shame about Perugia...
Wait, you actually want Vierija on the bench too???? 😂
