Are you absolutely certain that the new technique doesn't actually promise that?

Hair metal versus glam metal — you know, those eras when bands clearly spent way more time perfecting their hairspray technique than actually writing songs.

Apparently, some huge Iron Maiden fans walked out during the premiere because they were convinced the movie was just some cheap parody of their band. 🤣

Things to Come is some seriously heavy-duty sci-fi, actually penned by H. G. Wells as his own take on Metropolis.
It’s definitely not your typical pulp fiction.

Actually, it actually pulled in some pretty decent reviews. For me personally, though, it didn't quite hit the mark—it felt a little too good hearted to really land that sharp, biting satirical punch.
...but you can't deny the acting is top-notch, and the soundtrack and live performances are just fantastic.

Honestly, that might be the most brilliant line in cinematic history.
By the way, has anyone else here actually sat down and watched A Mighty Wind?

Roger Ebert once mentioned that the Monty Python crew could probably whip up a movie using that exact same script. 😬

Jessica Nguyen85 said:It’s actually pretty wild to think about Spielberg working on material that feels so much like something out of Stanley Kubrick's toolkit.
The reason behind it is actually quite touching—Kubrick personally asked him to step in and finish the project.
See, both of them were huge fans of Colodijev PinocchioPinocchio.
Even though he had been prepping the film for years, Kubrick eventually realized that the story's soul actually aligned more with Spielberg's sensibility than his own.

Honestly, I thought it was a pretty lackluster movie... just my two cents.
It felt totally pointless, kind of like watching a mediocre snack commercial. 🙄

I wouldn't call it trash, though; I'd call it pure pulp—which, if we're being honest, usually means thin characters, predictable plots, and a whole lot of pure escapism.
The Incredibles

Finding Nemo was just phenomenally dubbed.
As for Shrek—honestly, the worst part was Mikic, who was basically impossible to understand while he was trying his best to mimic Murphy's rapid-fire delivery.

Well, there’s actually a bit of good news on the horizon.
After several years of legal tug-of-war, the French government finally passed a law allowing for cell phone jamming in movie theaters, theaters, and concert halls.
It took them a little while to get this one through the legislative process, mostly because they were trying to figure out how to calibrate the strength of the jamming devices so they wouldn't accidentally kill the signal for anyone just standing outside the venue.

Honestly, I really think it’s high time some consumer advocacy groups stepped up and actually dealt with this issue.
I remember being at a theater in Washington, D.C. watching The Matrix Reloaded, and right in the middle of the movie, they hit us with a ten-minute break that was just a non-stop barrage of commercials.
I mean, you'd almost think they scheduled the intermission specifically for people who needed a bathroom break. 😬
I’ve been reading quite a bit online lately, and it seems like advertising before movies in the States has reached some pretty ridiculous levels—honestly, it's the kind of over-the-top stuff only Americans could pull off.
Now, moviegoers here basically have to sit through about twenty minutes of ads before the actual film even starts.

I know, man.
The "question" was actually aimed at hollowseal33, since she was the one insisting that Angelina's eye patch and the air raids over New York City were "trashy."
From what I can tell, though, she seems to have changed her mind.
...or maybe she was just pulling my leg from the very beginning.
Don't trust women.

I guess these days you find queer subtext in the most unexpected places, don't you?
Not that I’m exactly shocked by it, though.

His most recent film was actually Ivanna Orleansk.
Since then, he’s mostly been working behind the scenes as a producer—though, if I'm being honest, it feels like a lot of pretty mediocre stuff lately.
