Sugar and Beans in Health ·
Amanda Lee42 said:I honestly have no clue what you guys are talking about when it comes to that bean dish!
I mean, come on, I totally know that lizard is actually pretty chill and such a little cutie!
Oh my gosh, you guys, I am absolutely obsessed with cinnamon lately! I was just making this huge batch of cinnamon rolls this morning—the kind that fills up your entire house with that warm, cozy scent—and honestly, it’s like a giant hug for your soul!

Oh man, I've been hearing all about that cinnamon hack too, plus I’ve totally been obsessed with having coconut flour stirred into my yogurt first thing in the morning on an empty stomach!
Honestly, I haven't got a clue when it comes to that bean situation!

If you're dealing with anemia, honestly, spirulina is such a total lifesaver!

Honestly, my husband tried out that Lushov stuff for his skin issues and it worked like absolute magic... I'm seriously telling you, you've gotta try it!

Man, I would totally love to dive into this too!
A puncture is basically just using a needle to grab some fluid from a tissue, gland, or organ—and honestly, I swear nothing hurts more than getting blood drawn!
Then you've got a biopsy, which is a much smaller thing where they just take a tiny little piece of tissue instead.

You should totally check out www.mayoclinic.org -you can get actual advice from real doctors and pharmacists there!

So, you basically hollow out a black radish—just scoop it out until you’ve got this thin little tunnel going all the way through—then set it right on top of a shot glass and pour some honey into that hollowed-out spot! After an hour or two, the juice from the radish mixes with the honey and starts dripping down into the glass like magic. You just sip that syrup a few times a day with a big old tablespoon.
It totally clears out all that nasty mucus and settles your cough, plus it's all-natural, which I love!

So, Echinacea is this super cool plant—I think some people call it red coneflower or something like that! It’s honestly legendary for giving your immune system that extra little boost when you need it most. You can find tons of different supplements out there, but I personally swear by the Echinacea with propolis stuff from Nature Made!
Jeans recommendations? in Fashion ·
So, I actually went ahead and ordered some jeans from the Otto catalog just yesterday—honestly, it was my first time ever buying anything through a mail-order catalog like that!
I picked out these denim jeans with a bit of stretch; they have a low rise and look super cute and classic, nothing too flashy, but the description claimed they’d visually shave 3 pounds off your figure, and even though I’m totally skeptical about those kinds of claims, I think that little detail was actually what sealed the deal for me.
I mean, I am such a sucker for a good advertisement, 😵especially when it comes to those super convincing commercials for cleaning supplies 🙂that make everything look so easy!
Ugh, so I ended up in the ER last night because my heart was absolutely racing out of my chest! For hours on end, my pulse just wouldn't drop below 180, and when they checked me at the hospital, they actually clocked it at 206!
They ran some blood work right away which came back totally fine, and my EKG showed a normal sinus rhythm, just... you know, insanely fast.
Now I’m stuck waiting on thyroid hormone tests, seeing a cardiologist, and getting an ultrasound scheduled.
But honestly, after those intense few hours, my heart rate just decided to chill out and go back to normal all by itself, and I've been feeling totally fine since!
Microwave ovens in Health ·
Honestly, I’ve been using mine for years just to warm things up rather than actually cooking, so I never really gave much thought to what eating heated food might do to us! But then, after getting into a debate online, I did a little deep dive on Google and man, I was totally horrified by what I found. My kids drink so much milk every day—like, almost a quart, and my oldest even drinks more—and we always just zap it in the microwave to get it warm. Honestly, I think they might just move out!

Here is the quick rundown:
Category I, Cancer-Causing Effects
Category II, Destruction of Foods
Category III, Biological Effects of Exposure

Microwaving prepared meats sufficiently to insure sanitary ingestion caused formation of d-Nitrosodienthanolamines, a well-known carcinogen.
Microwaving milk and cereal grains converted some of their amino acids into carcinogens.
Thawing frozen fruits converted their glucoside and galactoside containing fractions into carcinogenic substances.
Extremely short exposure of raw, cooked or frozen vegetables converted their plant alkaloids into carcinogens.
Carcinogenic free radicals were formed in microwaved plants, especially root vegetables.
Decrease in nutritional value
US researchers also reported a marked acceleration of structural degradation leading to a decreased food value of 60 to 90% in all foods tested. Among the changes observed were:
Deceased bio-availability of vitamin B complex, vitamin C, vitamin E, essential minerals and lipotropics factors in all food tested.
Various kinds of damaged to many plant substances, such as alkaloids, glucosides, galactosides and nitrilosides.
The degradation of nucleo-proteins in meats.

Do you guys actually use them, or do you ever stop to think about how much damage they might be doing...?
I was just scrolling through some articles today about all the crazy chemical changes that happen to food when you reheat it or cook it in a microwave, and honestly, I am totally floored by what I read!
Weight Loss Challenge... in Health ·
Starving yourself is definitely not the way to go, but you really should shake up your eating habits and pay attention to food pairings—like, what you eat with what!
I actually did this diet right after I finished breastfeeding and managed to drop about 18 pounds, so if you're curious, I can totally send you the details. Honestly, I thought it was great because you still get three full meals a day and plenty of variety, you just have to be smart about not mixing different food groups in one sitting.
Totally awesome 👍
It’s been ages since I had my gallbladder out—like, over 18 years ago!—but I was totally under general anesthesia for the whole thing.
From what I can tell, it doesn't seem nearly as painful as people make it out to be. Hang in there, okay? I'm sending all the good vibes your way and crossing my fingers that everything comes back perfect on your tests!

So, I’ve finally made up my mind... I've officially set my "D-Day" (as Bobetko would say!), and until then, I’m going to give it everything I've got to cut back!

Come on, let me hear it—vent, cry, whatever you need to do... how's everyone holding up?
Instead of just burning out, why not become something better?

For now, I'm mostly just lurking in the shadows and gathering up enough courage to actually jump into the deep end with you guys!
I actually gave this a shot once, maybe four or five years ago, and man, I barely made it past eight days before I totally lost my mind—I was such a nervous wreck, snapping at everyone and everything in sight!

I’ll pop in here every now and then to leave a little comment, but I just can't seem to find the guts to finally take on the big bad cartel.
