Honestly, I’d much rather be hooked on this forum than, say, addicted to porn.

Yeah... feedback is huge. It really helps you see things from a whole different perspective, doesn't it?
Forums and the internet at large are two totally different beasts altogether... On a forum, you actually get people visiting just to have a decent conversation... whereas places like Instagram or Facebook? Most of it is just unnecessary noise.
Saturday, June 6th at 4 PM! We'll be hanging out at the Coffee Shop located at 24 Main Street. Come on down to check things out and just soak up the vibes!
So, what's actually going on with the shutdown of Psychic Hotline’s music thread? It was such a massive hit, super easy to read, and honestly just a great vibe.
And honestly, that’s the toughest part—feeling stuck in this rigid system, this whole programmed matrix where you feel like you have zero actual leverage to change anything.

You were right to put "righteous commentators" in quotes. Their outbursts have zero to do with an actual sense of justice. It's more about venting personal frustrations and pent-up rage; these articles just serve as a convenient pressure valve for them. If they really cared about justice, they’d react differently...
But, if the facts are out there and the system fails anyway—well, that's a different story entirely. In that case, in my opinion, the insults, the swearing, and even calls for vigilante justice become justifiable...
As it stands now, it's easy to stir up a primitive crowd...

There’s absolutely no excuse for being abusive or using profanity, let alone calling for vigilantism.
Especially not in a country where over 90 percent of the population identifies as religious—whether Christian or otherwise—and even the atheists and agnostics aren't exactly fans of violence.
Does all this aggressive, finger-pointing energy surrounding cases that haven't even been proven yet signal something deeper about our society and the other nations in our neck of the woods?
What are the odds that some of these "self-righteous commenters"—the ones trying to play judge and jury from their keyboards—will actually follow through on those impulses? Is this recent spike in online hostility something unique to the US and its neighbors, or is it just as bad in wealthier parts of Europe too?
I’m feeling pretty let down by life lately. Honestly, who’s actually looking to hang out or just chat? I’m based in NYC and I'm 29. If you're reaching out, maybe keep it between 23 and 43? Give or take a few years. Anyone up for it?
We’re getting together next week! Starting Monday, let's get some ideas on the table for locations. As for timing, let's aim for mostly after 5:30 PM. Any favorites?
But hey, goodness is going to win in the end, isn't it? It might look like we're losing for a little while—just a temporary setback—but in the long run, good always finds its way to victory.
