That’s exactly my point, though! Censorship and bans are just a way to run away from reality. When someone shows up, they don't have any strings attached. The costs? It's basically just the price of a coffee or a beer, maybe a couple bucks here or there. But the conversations? You can say so much during a hangout that really gets people fired up. To me, these get-togethers are like a winning lottery ticket where everyone walks away a winner.
Sometimes there’s just three or four of us hanging out, and other times we’ll have closer to eight... usually somewhere between 25 and 40 people show up, plus whoever else wanders in. What do we actually do? We just hang out and talk about whatever random stuff pops into our heads.
Manly vibes—definitely feeling that masculine energy... though I’m still waiting for my prime to kick in, I guess. Right now? Just a tall, lanky guy stuck in that weird in-between phase.
Is it because I’m a guy? Maybe! But honestly, I’m just curious about how everyone perceives things differently when they're in all-male groups, all-female groups, or those mixed settings
So, I went to see my therapist today. We actually had to take about four little breaks, just for a minute or two each, because my focus was completely shot. I kept jumping all over the place from one topic to the next, and honestly? I ended up just confusing myself even more.

Maybe it’s like having a messy workshop in the garage? You at least know where most of the tools are kept and what they actually do.
Unfortunately, my mental junk drawer is way too cluttered. It makes things confusing, and honestly, those fuzzy memories can be pretty exhausting sometimes.

He spends way too much time playing the victim and blaming everyone else for his problems. He can't just face the harsh reality of life, fix things, and move on.
Look, I did have a more positive attitude once. I was taking better care of myself back then. And of course, I'd love to feel that way again instead of being stuck in this endless, exhausting loop.

An anti-theist—unlike an atheist who finds their philosophy somewhere else entirely—might actually be a bigger believer (in terms of time spent practicing) than the actual believers themselves. It’s not even about hating the "religion" or the people practicing it alongside their faith; it's more about hating the fact that grown adults can still cling to fairy tales and fables. Or maybe even promoting them while acting completely against their own interests, signing off on nonsense that actually messes with reality... A hatred for the hypocrisy, maybe. Sometimes it looks like the main roadblock to civilization, or just basic animosity fueled by "my faith vs. yours"—all those atrocities and horrors committed in the name of some deity XA. This stuff has been dragging on for centuries, decades, hours... maybe forever. Ever since the first con artist, always slicker than the last, told someone that his god John Doe whispered to him, saying if they didn't follow specific rules or face eternal torment, they'd better start handing over their cash right now, on command, exactly how God dictates. To receive a blessing, or a banana, or whatever... all by divine will, because they're "chosen"...
"Hate" is that ancient thing that travels with every human being as they fight for survival, regardless of how civilized we pretend to be. You can only suppress that urge for so long if you're stuck in a bubble of comfort. But if someone hasn't had that luck and has lived through nothing but frustration, they'd hate just as much as anyone else with the same programming. From this perspective, there's no such thing as two identical lives...
And on that note—since no two lives are the same—asking a crowd what you should do for your own life is basically the definition of someone who has no clue where they came from, where they're going, or why they're even traveling in the first place. Maybe they're so frustrated and unable to find their own truth or purpose that they'll settle for "peace" by following some textbook practice. Or a thin little script. Wouldn't a massive cacophony of questions in your head be quieted by some kind of ritual? That constant internal murmur, that endless chatter with a god, begging for things or forcing a connection, might just drown out the unanswered questions. A self-sustaining loop could theoretically make those questions vanish, especially when "God" presents them as a purpose through subtle provocations tailored to each individual...
Oh, dear God! When He takes, He always gives. And sometimes He gives hate, too. More often than not, it seems. For some reason, I guess. The Lord works in mysterious ways. Especially if God is just one of trillions, static and hyper-focused inside some celestial, cosmic psychiatric ward. Looking at the big picture, what kind of F would a god have, as something gifted to him by his own creator? It isn't easy for gods either. Especially when monkeys like keep falling on their heads.
So, we're talking about freezing people out because they're being two-faced?!
Being two-faced—or maybe just being a bit of a joker—totally warps how you see reality, doesn't it? I honestly wonder if anyone can ever be strong enough to completely scrub away those traces of hypocrisy from their soul.

Real egoism is staying locked inside your own little bubble instead of actually listening to a hundred different perspectives.
He isn't going to change; that's just who he is. There’s no malice or bad intentions involved, but honestly? Communicating with him is exhausting.
Maybe... I mean, sometimes I go back and look through old threads and posts, and yeah, there were definitely times when I was totally overthinking everything. Some things life throws at you just catch you completely off guard, you know? It takes a little while to get my head straight and sort through it all.
Carol Ramos2 said:Look, your whole issue is that you think everyone's trolling you when they aren't. Your BS detector is basically broken and you get offended way too easily, just like Tony Soprano... Over every little thing. Random people's opinions actually get under your skin. Sometimes you're funny, but mostly you're just a tragic mess, sabotaging yourself and any decent friendships you might have with that attitude. Honestly, I gotta hand it to your friends—it can't be easy being your buddy.
There's definitely some truth to what you're saying... I don't believe in myself enough, so the insecurity creeps in and I just carry all this old baggage around.
That’s just how life goes sometimes, isn't it? Honestly, I'm glad you aren't religious. There are so many people out there who claim to be believers, yet they carry around this cold, heartless hatred that's harder to swallow than cheap plastic wrap. Why is that? It's just one of those things.
I didn't take offense at what you said, really. It was more about how much some people just feel the need to constantly act like they've got all the answers, you know?
I honestly don't even know anymore. I've got this heavy weight from my past dragging behind me—just a massive pile of memories and these weird, vivid dreams. A close friend of mine actually thinks these downward spirals might be tied to some spiritual realm or something. My head is spinning with so many conflicting thoughts. I’ve been searching for ages for something to actually get me fired up, you know? So, I guess I get a little teary when people poke fun at me. Honestly, the way he acted? It wasn't exactly the most "manly" way to handle things.
I don't need people making fun of me. That’s probably what he was thinking, right? But I really have to wonder—why does he feel the need to act up right now? He knows I'm dealing with some heavy personal stuff that makes getting through the day a real struggle. Honestly, throwing insults my way isn't going to help one bit. He’s starting to act way too much like a total diva.
