And honestly? Life just keeps rolling on. I’m out here winning my own championship just by getting an early start to the day. When I look in the mirror, things are looking pretty clear to me.
Personally, I don't really have many chances to give the people around me the kind of high-quality communication they deserve. So, I guess my mistakes were just a bit too much to handle, wasn't it?
But hey, let's make some room for everyone else too. There’s way too much gatekeeping going on lately. So, yeah, I’m stepping back from my own topic. Whether you decide to lock this thread or not is totally up to you—not my call to make.
Since nobody from the group showed up yesterday, I’m honestly relieved. It feels right to stop organizing these get-togethers. If anyone else feels like planning something down the road, be my guest! But as for me? I think I'm officially retired from the hosting business.

Like, would the reading be the exact same if I wasn't obsessing over it and waiting for a specific result?
Can a person actually consciously influence their own body—something that's supposed to be totally autonomous? Can you really try to slow down or speed up your heart rate just by willing it to happen? If your mind is spinning with "sick" thoughts and you fixate on how your body feels because of them, does that trigger a negative feedback loop? You know, placebo versus nocebo effects...
Obviously, if you throw your back out and you're stuck lying in bed like a crumpled donut, unable to move or even breathe without agony—when all you care about is stopping the pain—you can definitely project that physical pain into a mental state. But what about the other way around?
Sure, you can train yourself through habit to endure, ignore, or maybe even soothe 🤔 physical pain. But is it possible to use targeted autosuggestion to tackle a "mental illness" that isn't as clear-cut or easy to pin down as stuff like: "my neck hurts—sharp pain; my lower back is killing me—stabbing pain; my wrist is swollen—throbbing pain; my sinuses are acting up and I've got a runny nose—head infection..."?
I mean, sure, it’s been freezing a few times over the last year or so and nobody showed up, but that was back when things were a bit warmer. In those cases, I’d actually head out for a stroll. But lately? Honestly, sometimes just grabbing a coffee solo hits the spot perfectly. {So yeah, everything is wide open}
So, what’s the plan? Is anyone actually coming over for a coffee? I’m just gonna sit here, sip my brew, and catch up on the news. Honestly, I couldn't care less if you show up or not!
Business opportunities are looking bright, and honestly, it’s about time we all got together again!
Let's celebrate the end of Daylight Saving Time on the very last day of the summer season.
Come hang out this Saturday, October 27th, at the Coffee shop located at 123 Main Street (just a bit south of the Coffee shop where Donna works). We'll be kicking things off at 6 PM.
