It always feels like every legendary player eventually gets pulled back into the game through the side door. I honestly wonder if the best players make better managers or if they just end up being glorified assistants to their old mentors. Do you think the "student becoming the master" dynamic actually works in high-level sports?
For me, the only real solution is sticking strictly to gold. Anything else just doesn't cut it. Even bra clasps—basically any metal that makes direct contact with my skin—have to be plastic or properly insulated with some kind of material.. But then again, not all gold is created equal, so you really have to be selective and stick to high-end, reputable jewelers like Tiffany & Co. 🙂
For a lot of people, blood pressure just creeps up as they get older. Dealing with hypertension is such a massive headache that I’m not sure it’s even wise to start taking medication just to push those numbers back up.
If you're dealing with cold hands and feet, though, things like intense workouts, alternating between hot and cold showers, hitting the sauna followed by a cold plunge, or even just getting a massage can really help.
I'm not sure if anyone else has brought this up yet: giving the lead role to Leonardo DiCaprio—who, at the time, was basically just a tiny, high-strung kid—in Titanic 🙂 and then pairing him up with Kate Winslet 🙂 I honestly can't tell if it was Cameron who lost his mind, the producers, or just everyone involved in the whole production.
The forum isn't sending me email notifications for new messages from the CIA anymore. 😕 All I did was tweak my signature settings; I didn't touch anything else.
It’s a really solid movie. My only gripe is that the ending feels rushed; it throws off the pacing and leaves you feeling like there was more to the story. Meryl Streep is fantastic 🙏 she absolutely shines during the second half. I have to admit, I can’t even be objective about this one because the moment Frances McDormand (as Paula) showed up on screen 😍 I was instantly hooked, laughing and smiling all at once.🙂
Movie theater intermissions are nothing short of a crime driven by the lowest possible motives. But since film distributors are mostly just greedy opportunists, we shouldn't be surprised that they'll push these breaks through at any cost.
I’ve had my eyes dilated a few times, and honestly, it was a miserable experience. My pupils are naturally tiny, which is actually why I ended up sitting through those exams in the first place. But I just don't get it—why on earth would they use such massive doses on people who have perfectly normal pupil sizes? 😕
Edward Green said:The exam was... something. First, they dilated my eyes five different times, spaced about twenty minutes apart. Then the eye doctor pulled out this specialized lamp and a little mirror thing with a tiny hole he looks through. He just kept aiming this bright light right into my eye to inspect whatever is going on inside my skull. 😁
Oh, I finally get it now. You'll feel a lot better tomorrow, but don't expect your vision to actually return to normal until the day after. 😉
