Honestly, I'm way too young to be considering procedures like that, and besides, they aren't exactly cheap. I think I'll just head down to the local CVS to ask for some advice 🤷

Who? 😢
As the title suggests, I’m struggling with a chronically pale complexion. I always look exhausted, washed out, and generally unhealthy. The dark circles under my eyes are permanent; it doesn't matter if I get 3, 8, or 15 hours of sleep, they're just there. The only time I feel decent without makeup is during the summer when I manage to get a tan, but that’s a temporary fix 😢 My blood work comes back perfect—iron levels are fine, and I get regular checkups, so it isn't anemia or anything like that. I get plenty of sleep, especially when I don't have responsibilities. When I wear makeup, everything looks fine, but whenever I show up bare-faced, people constantly ask why I look so tired or if I got enough rest. And I'll tell you, I slept for 10 hours that night 😢 Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? Exercise isn't the problem; I hit the gym 3 to 4 times a week and walk about 1.9 miles every day. I'm getting desperate and I've run out of options. I can't rely on heavy makeup constantly; it’s bad for my skin and prevents it from breathing. Are there any medical supplements or treatments that could actually bring some color back to my face?
Please help me out with some advice. I'm at my wits' end 😢

Can pants be widened, just like they can be taken in? For instance, denim jeans that are too tight around the waist?
Dealing with Candida glabrata?
in Women's Health ·
Now I’m actually getting worried. I didn't bother getting a follow-up swab after my diagnosis; I just took an oral capsule for the fungal infection and used three vaginal suppositories. I assumed that would be the end of it with the 🤷. My doctor didn't even mention needing a repeat swab to confirm if the Candida is still there, which is frustrating since I'm constantly at her office anyway dealing with Stage 1 issues and HPV

I've been battling this fungus for six months now. I've tried every treatment under the sun, and nothing works. There’s hardly any info on this specific strain on our local forums. I've read some US medical articles suggesting this particular fungus is resistant to the standard meds used for Candida albicans and similar issues. I'm currently on my third round of Diflucan, so we'll see how it goes...
Did you manage to get anything resolved in the meantime?
I'm not sure if I'm actually clear yet. I asked my doctor if the situation was resolved after she gave me those three heavy-duty vaginal suppositories plus the oral antifungal capsule, and she said it 🤷

Latest test results are in: the chlamydia and ureaplasma are finally gone. 😁 The catch is that I’ve now tested positive for a high load of Candida glabrata. 🙂 What’s the standard treatment for this? Has anyone dealt with it before? I’m assuming the heavy course of antibiotics I had to take for the chlamydia and ureaplasma completely wiped out my natural flora, leaving the door open for this.

Hey everyone, quick question for you 😉 how many minutes before the first game kicks off do I need to place my bet at SuperSport? Is ten enough?
Discharge (bloody, purulent...), white wash... - general questions

Does anyone else get that sensation where something just leaks out—warm, almost like you’ve suddenly started your period, but it’s actually just discharge? :/
Easier way to track my active and followed threads?
in Forum Help! ·
Is there a more efficient way to pull up a list of all my active threads? Right now, I’m stuck clicking through quick links, hitting my profile, checking statistics, and then selecting view all posts/topics. It feels like a lot of extra steps. Is there a faster shortcut?🤷
So, how does it work then? Like, you get one prescription for birth control pills and just pick up a new box every month once you finish the current one, rather than getting everything at once?
I'm taking Aerius for my allergies. It's prescription-only. Since I'll be out at sea for a while, my doctor went ahead and wrote me a script for two boxes. The prescription specifies S. 2 x 1, which covers both. Do I have to pick up both boxes right now, or can I grab just one first—having them note that I'm still owed another—and then come back for the second once I've finished the first?
Looking for a specialist...

I’ve got a fractured tooth. It’s showing up on the X-ray, specifically along the F line, so it's pretty clear what we're dealing with. To be precise, I'm not talking about a chip where a piece broke off; it’s something internal involving the root and the nerve. The only solution is to have the tooth extracted. The issue isn't the extraction itself, but the fact that this is a front tooth, making it highly visible. My dentist suggested replacing it with either an implant or a bridge. What has your experience been with those options? I can't just let him pull the tooth without having an immediate plan for an implant or a bridge—I can't exactly walk around town, go to class, or hang out with my boyfriend with a missing front tooth. Is it actually possible to get everything handled in one session right after the extraction?
Best foot massagers?

EDIT: Why is this thread showing up in my activity feed? 🤣
They already swapped mine out.
Where even is this Mercury?

Where in Chicago can I pick up a relatively cheap foot massager (somewhere between $100 and $67)? I'm looking for those ones where you fill them with water so it massages your feet or whatever 🙂
Rollerblading

I'm planning on hitting the inline skates every day. How many hours should I aim for if I want to actually see results? I want to know if skating really helps with getting in shape or losing weight. Does it actually tone your glutes and legs?
How to get rid of smelly feet?
in Health ·
So, I picked up these cute little ballet flats, but every time I wear them, my feet smell so bad it’s driving me crazy. Usually, I don't have this issue, but these shoes are a disaster. Is there some kind of spray I can use on the shoes themselves to stop the odor, or something similar? Because I seriously need 👎

You don't need to aggressively "throw yourself" at guys—unless you want everyone to start labeling you as the girl who's easy
and I truly hope you aren't that kind of person 😕
Just act natural.
Don't be shy, but for heaven's sake, don't be shameless either. 😁
I'm not like that. 👍 I just don't know how to approach this guy at high school.
