Enjoying some downtime before the chaos begins 🤣

So I’m sitting here reading this.. 😂
and honestly, it’s making me a little nervous..
My dad is actually building a custom stand for my Toro 🤣
out of iron—which sounds sturdy enough, I suppose—but after seeing these posts, I can't help feeling a bit uneasy. Not that it changes much for my workflow, though; my cookies can be transported to the booth independently of whatever happens with the stand, and then I'll just arrange them all once I'm set up in the kitchen. 🤷

And speaking of black suits—here’s a little anecdote I came across recently... 😂
A little girl attending her very first wedding turned to her mother and asked, “Why is the bride wearing white?” Her mother replied, “Because white represents happiness, and today is the happiest day of her life.” After a moment of thoughtful contemplation, the little girl piped up, “Well then, why is the groom wearing black?”

I don't know, Carl Clark... I have this vision for a really unconventional cake setup—one main centerpiece surrounded by a whole bunch of miniature cakes. For that primary one (meaning I'm looking for $67 🤷), and for all the little ones too... it feels like a lot to ask, honestly—they didn't even bother following up about the mini cakes 😢

We’re taking things one step at a time, just like you guys—slow and steady wins the race. I’ve already checked decor and invitations off my list, so it doesn't really matter if I'm getting ahead of schedule... though, honestly, in the States, we have our own quirks—like how we sometimes find ourselves paying for catering deposits way before the big day actually arrives 😂
But anyway, that’s probably better suited for a different thread... 😛
Since I’ve already started typing and I’d hate to drift too far off-topic, does anyone have recommendations for where to pick up a suit for him? Also, I was wondering where one might find decent cufflinks and tie clips 🤣—I was thinking of getting him something for Valentine's Day, essentially combining a romantic gesture with some practical wedding prep 😂

Then again—is seven months out actually too early to start buying? 🤷 I know some couples wear their rings well before the big day and they seem fine until the wedding festivities kick in... but I don't know. I’m such a klutz that I’d probably just end up losing them somewhere around the house. 😂

I heard that Helen is heading back home—apparently, a colleague of mine who’s four months pregnant already booked her... based on what she told me, the price isn't actually that steep, nor is it excessive considering she has to drive about 45 minutes to get to us anyway... 😉

over at the Walmart wholesale club—they had this massive bulk pack 🤔 I didn't catch the exact count, but it looked to be about 50 pieces for roughly $27... 😉

From the moment I first checked out the property until I actually pulled the trigger on the reservation—which took about a month of thinking it over—I ended up scoring a $333 discount voucher 😉

Unfortunately, they weren't offering any discounts... 😢
