So I’ve been digging around online and now that I see the different types of dementia out there, it’s looking more and more like it could actually be Alzheimer's. It’s just weird though, because sometimes he’ll remember everyone's name perfectly fine, but then an hour later, he's talking about someone completely different... He's also having a hard time with his speech—getting lost mid-sentence, struggling to find the right word and all that junk. Basically, he's checking almost every box for Alzheimer's symptoms.
So, my grandpa's been losing his grip on reality for about four years now. It started out small, like forgetting a neighbor's name or whatever, but as he gets older, things are getting seriously bad. He’ll lose track of where he put stuff, or he’ll look right at a foot and have no clue what it's called. He’ll be watching TV and suddenly start rambling about how there isn't enough food on the table for everyone, even when there's plenty. Basically, the older he gets, the more everything just slips away. My dad refuses to take him to a doctor because he's convinced it's just genetic—says my great-grandmother went through the exact same thing and just faded away, so why bother? He thinks there's no cure anyway. What kind of disease is this actually, and is there any treatment out there that I can use as leverage to convince my dad to finally get him some medical help??
btw, what are the odds that I end up dealing with this same crap later in life?????😲 😬
Around here, people call them tiny worms or just little bugs, but honestly, they aren't even acne or pimples. They just look like these little black dots on your skin, and if you squeeze them even a tiny bit, they just pop right out, looking all white once they're out
I tried starting a thread earlier but I think someone nuked it, so here we go again.
So, I’m hitting puberty and my nose is covered in these blackheads, and I heard they leave permanent pits behind—plus, my old man has these little craters on his nose too. Honestly, I haven't even asked him if he dealt with the same crap, but now I'm low-key spiraling thinking I'm gonna end up with a cratered nose just like his. Should I be squeezing these things out myself or just let them do whatever they want?
Look, I wasn't really ever that pale before, but over the last year or so, I've definitely started noticing it. Sometimes my face looks totally normal, but other times I just look like a damn rag—which sucks because I'm looking like a rag about 95% of the time. I heard it might be something to do with poor circulation or whatever. Anyway, it’s just my face that gets washed out; my skin everywhere else isn't even that bad.🙂
I’ve got this super pale face, man. Like, whenever I look at photos, I stick out like a sore thumb compared to everyone else. Is that just my skin tone, or is it something deeper, like my circulation or whatever? Is there actually anything I can do to fix this because honestly, being this washed out sucks.
