How to stop biting your nails? in Health ·
If I remember right, the last time someone actually trimmed my nails was when I was like 6 years old.
Ever since then, it’s just been me "fixing" them myself.😬
I haven't really tried to quit, but honestly, more and more situations are making me realize I gotta stop!
One of the awkwardest things is having to sign stuff in front of people—like at a checkout counter or signing paperwork at the office... I mean, what's the point of wearing a nice suit, clean shoes, and a watch if my nails look totally trashed? And let's be real, you can't exactly get a decent job done by using your teeth as a "biter"—if that's even what you call it where you're from.

"you can't exactly get a decent job done"
Even though we all should've mastered the art of not doing that by now! haha
Thinking about trying drugs in Health ·
Man, I’d give anything to be 17 again!!!
HAHAHA
You're such a cute kid!
Cheers, and seriously, let me know how that whole experience turns out!
HAHAHA

Tell your "friends" they’re being totally sketchy with the speed—tell them to grow up and realize what they're doing is actually messed up!
Or just take some coke, go hard all weekend, and then by Monday you're already crashing because you're missing that weekend high!
Just don't touch the meth, unless you want your life to go straight down the drain...
Actually, I think you're already headed there!

It's good that you've got cash now, 'cause pretty soon you'll be realizing you need even more, since what you've got won't cut it anymore!

Little idiot... enjoy it while it lasts!
Proactiv ® Solution in Health ·
rowdypanther said:My brother had much worse problems, both with his face and his back.
The Proactiv ® Solution worked for him; the acne cleared up, but he had to order it multiple times and stay consistent with it.
He doesn't have acne anymore.

Personally, I think it's overpriced $167. Why not try herbal remedies instead, like teas specifically for breakouts? At least tea can help without doing any harm.

You could always try both.

DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT HERBAL STUFF...
TRUST ME, I TOTALLY TRASHED MY SKIN TRYING THAT...
Don't fall for that "natural remedy" hype they sell you.

I don't even have breakouts anymore, but I fixed everything with heavy-duty meds.
Only time will tell if it stays that way!

dustyhound5 said:Quick question for Disney and Dell:

Has anyone here actually gone through the process for an HPV test?

What’s an HPV test even like!?
Pretty sure guys can't even get one!
I'm almost certain... I think doctors just check during a regular exam, nothing else...
Let me know if I'm totally wrong though!
Indoor cycling: Any tips for a good workout? in Hobbies & Leisure ·
swiftbison7 said:Can't hit the gym or go for runs this winter... sucks. Guess I gotta stick to working out at home. My bike's busted. Total bummer. Which one was used for hanging clothes before?
Weight isn't even my thing, honestly. I just really wish I could tone up a bit and finally kick this cellulite to the curb!
Anyone know which part of the body this is for? Bikes are honestly the way to go. Most efficient thing ever!Does it actually work for the glutes though?
What speed should I run it at? And what kind of load am I looking at?
Does riding a stationary bike actually hit the glutes better? Like, is it worth it for my butt?

Just some basic home bike. Simple setup.😬
Come on girl, get it together!
I'm not the type to go around trashing people online, but man, this stuff is just straight-up horrific.
Just like this car...😬
Do you guys actually go to the urologist? in Health ·
I went through this about six months ago.
I had—and honestly, still have—this weird little lump near my testicles, and man, I have no clue how to even describe it.
Doc says it’s nothing serious, just business as usual.
We'll see about that, though... sometimes I get some pain after sex (you know, if you go at it a few times in one day)... maybe it's not even related.
Right now I'm dealing with some other stuff... once I wrap that up, I'll head back in for a "tune-up."
Hangover cures? in Health ·
Man, I totally trashed myself starting around 7 PM... kept going til 9... didn't even drink that much (just 3 big beers and a splash of vodka with Red Bull)... but since I never really drink, it absolutely wrecked me!
Shouldn't have gone that hard... now I'm just stuck at home alone while the crew is out having a blast... total fail on my part.
No more heavy drinking for me... honestly, I won't be able to keep up with my buddies for the next week given how much they can handle!
Everyone keeps saying "just drink water"... fine, I'll try... but I'm not sure this strawberry Jane is gonna sit right with me!
Using AHA fruit acids during the summer? in Health ·
Exfoliating creams basically just strip away that top layer of dead skin so you can actually see the healthy stuff underneath.
So yeah, your skin literally flakes off to get the job done!
AHA, haven't tried those specifically, but I did some glycolic acid peels at a local spa—like, maybe six sessions? Nothing crazy happened...
Anyway, nothing seems to touch these red spots for me! Just gotta wait it out, I guess!
Microdermabrasion isn't even that intense.
In my town, they handle this stuff on Saturdays if you pay the $10 fee, but good luck finding anyone actually working there!
Results drop Monday after 6 PM.

Honestly, I wouldn't touch that cream with a ten-foot pole, and definitely skip the chemical peels—like those AHA or glycolic acid stuff.
Real talk, it’s probably not gonna do much for you, especially right where those breakouts were.
It might help, but honestly? Probably not in the way you're hoping for.
I'm not 100% sure what happens if you hit the sun while using those treatments, but if everyone's warning you about it, it's gotta be bad news.
And with Vitamin A derivatives (like Differin... whatever), I know for a fact you can't go out in the sun with that on.
My advice? Just wait until you get to the beach, go for a swim... don't wash the salt off your face immediately... give it maybe 5-10 mins, then jump in the shower and catch a little sun... just do that for a few days straight.
Ugh, I deal with huge issues with these acne scars on my face too.
Seriously, look into some "exfoliating" products—you know, the stuff that clears away dead skin cells (for everyday use).
Also, maybe ask around about microdermabrasion?! (Only at professional spas, obviously)
That might actually fix things for you without all the sun risks!

If you decide on something, just let me know what it is so I can weigh in... I've (unfortunately) tried a ton of treatments, so I can totally help!
Dermatologist recommendations? in Health ·
Man, I just really want to find something that’ll actually keep these breakouts under control!
I’m not even one of those people who freaks out over just a couple of spots unless they're super swollen and huge...😬
Honestly, I feel like I’m finally on the right track to finding my "holy grail," even if it's just a quick fix for now... otherwise, it's back to square one!
It all comes down to the actual treatments... like, creams and lotions aren't really the heavy hitters here; they're just there to support the main therapy.
I'm really hoping this is the one because I can already see things looking up!
It’s not perfect yet, but it's definitely getting better!

If this actually works, I'll post more details... because every time I get my hopes up, everything just goes south and breaks out again. Fingers crossed this time!
And yeah! ...it's easy for people who don't deal with major issues to say "it'll pass" when they only have an occasional spot here and there.😠

Finding a decent dermatologist is basically impossible! 😬

@Lisa Barrett22/">@@Lisa Barrett22
I've been bouncing between specialists for over a year now... and honestly? None of their advice has actually worked for me yet...
I'm on a new treatment plan right now, just gotta wait and see if it sticks!

But seriously, everyone needs to realize that acne doesn't just vanish overnight!
I was so naive thinking I’d just walk into a clinic, grab a couple of creams and some antibiotics, and suddenly be totally clear!
Man, what an idiot I was!
It's been a whole year and my skin is still doing the exact same thing!
So frustrating!
Anyone tried Aknemycin emulsion? in Health ·

How old is your daughter now? And what kind of skin issues was she actually dealing with?!
Everyone thinks their own problems are the biggest...😁
Give me the lowdown on how it looked back then versus how it looks today.
Where do you guys pick up Differin?!
Ever gone to see an esthetician before?
Anyone tried Aknemycin emulsion? in Health ·
I've used it before.
I think I know which dermatologist you went to.
When I was on this stuff, my skin was a total disaster (not saying it is now, but it's better), so I can't really be objective about it.
Maybe it works for you... You're supposed to use it for like 12 weeks. It might take a month or two before you even see a tiny bit of progress.
I just couldn't wait that long... I needed something that would fix my face faster.
Like someone already mentioned, the main ingredient is 1% Erythromycin.
The cream is meant to help calm down the inflammation.

I totally agree that you have to stay consistent... though I'm terrible at that... I'm always looking for the quick fix.
And honestly, it feels like every single cream makes things worse before they actually start getting better!

Combining Differin and Skinoren could actually be a solid move.
But when your breakouts are huge, everything just feels sooo slow and useless.

Just remember one thing... and please, learn from my mistakes!!!
Don't go to an esthetician... just let the process happen, even if it looks bad for a bit... seriously, don't let them mess everything up.
If you have one of those massive spots that's super obvious, just wait a few days until it's ready and deal with it yourself... just don't go picking at your face like crazy!
Best liver detox supplements? in Health ·
ahaaa, totally.
Like I haven't tried that a million times already...!
So far, so good, I guess.
I think there are like three specific metrics we look at, but honestly, I can't remember which ones right now... though whatever, it doesn't even matter!
Best liver detox supplements? in Health ·
So, how do we even figure out if my liver is actually messed up!?
What kind of tests are we talking about here?!
I’m totally clueless when it comes to all this medical stuff... had to ask!
Best liver detox supplements? in Health ·
Maybe look into some blood-purifying teas.
A detox like that could run for about a month—like, three times a day plus some nettle drops.
I'm pretty sure it cleanses your blood, liver... even the kidneys too.😁
Anyone tried Aknichthol lotion? in Health ·
Is this actually good though? Like, am I gonna end up with super dry skin? My girls are telling me I shouldn't even be using it every single day.
