Donna Sullivan7 said:Hey, does anyone know why the thread about PTSD was taken down? thanks🙏

Donna Sullivan7, here is the thread. Everything is fine. 😉

I am truly sorry to hear about what you are going through. It sounds incredibly difficult. Please stay strong.

I am unsure what you mean by this. Please clarify. Henry Grant62 says:
An upward trajectory? Have you actually watched the last few Champions League games? If you have, you’d see this is pure stagnation, not progress. They weren't anything special with Kljajica Jr., but then again, they didn't have the caliber of players that Cervar has now. Honestly, nothing frustrates me more than hearing people cite poor preseason results as the reason for Kljajica's departure. It's just absurd. 😕When will New York City finally hire a real coach instead of some wannabe politician? We get nothing from them. I’m starting to see where Ante Kostelic was coming from when he called Cervar more of a circus act than an actual coach.

It is clear who follows USA Handball closely. Finally, someone is posting something worthwhile.👍

Objectively speaking, we are in a group of heavy smokers here!🤣

Daniel Cooper40 said:Well, it is what it is. When Kljajic was in charge, the performance was terrible. Since Lino took over, things have actually improved. It doesn't make sense to change coaches now.

You are overlooking one vital fact: Kljajic simply didn't have the roster depth or the bench strength that Lino has at his disposal.
No one can honestly compare last year's Los Angeles squad to this year's version. Absolutely no one.
It feels like Lino is more focused on politics than on the game. If a club truly wants to compete at the highest level in Europe, having a coach like this makes it incredibly difficult.
Explain to me how a serious coach can lead a massive game and then, during the final minute of halftime, say—and I quote: "Just watch me and listen to what I have to say!" 🙏
Looking for a specialist... in Health ·
Justin Thomas82 said:I am a private dentist here in Chicago. Having stumbled upon this site by chance, my take is simple:

I had no idea people exchanged this kind of information here, especially regarding specific dentists... Looking through these first five pages, I can see a few doctors are actually forced to advertise themselves this way—which is their own choice, even if they claim otherwise.
The most unsettling realization is that over 90% of the contributors on this site are, quite frankly, scavengers. They are cheapskates.
They want top-tier service and medical procedures, provided they can get them for free.
Honestly, does it not occur to you all that high-quality care comes at a price? You get what you pay for.
Here is an experience from about 7 or 8 years ago:
One afternoon, a laborer in green coveralls—someone struggling financially and looking for a quick fix—walked in without an appointment complaining of tooth pain. I examined him and found two fillings had fallen out completely, three were partially gone, and two others were old enough to need replacing. That’s seven teeth total. At the time, I used to show patients exactly what was wrong with their teeth—a method that was considered cutting-edge back then, just as it is now. I did the same for this man.
His response: "Well, Doctor, I was actually just at your colleague's office down the street yesterday for these exact same pains, and he told me everything was perfectly fine."
Me: "Does this colleague accept your insurance?"
Worker: "Yes, that's why I went to him!"
Me: "Unfortunately, I can only diagnose your current condition. It is up to you to decide where you want to go to fix it."...

It would all be fine if that colleague hadn't been recommended by one of you "keyboard warriors" on here.

I am relieved that neither my name nor those of my colleagues are mentioned on sites like this...
But you can see for yourselves. ...

Who exactly are you calling a scavenger?
How can you label someone like that when you don't even know them?
And who expects free services? I have never heard of a dentist whose patient ended up owing them money, so what are you talking about?
Your incredible level of culture and etiquette really shines through in your very first post. How do you manage that, maestro?🙏

Washington, D.C. has incredible talent, but they lack a coach.

Lino should express his gratitude and find a proper head coach; otherwise, our opponents will simply run right over us.👎

Noah Kim said:They’ll win. After all, the opposition is missing those two defenders, and they just suffered a total collapse in the league—a 14-point blowout. It’s reasonable to expect Washington, D.C. to pull this off...

I apologize, but I have to disagree with you on this one.

How is that realistic? They couldn't even beat Leon Ademar when they came to Washington, D.C. with an easy path to qualification and several key players sitting out...

The Los Angeles Lakers' morale is currently nonexistent. If you saw how they looked after that game against Leon Ademar, you would understand. It was quite disheartening...👎

I believe Washington, D.C. needs to start focusing on the Super Bowl already...

It will be difficult for me to win by five points or more, and I am honestly not even sure if I can pull off a victory at all.👎

Joshua Collins2 said:What else can be said? It’s just spontaneous tactics—relying on instinct and letting the players decide things on the fly. A jump from Lazarov, a pass to Vori if they connect. Honestly, maybe even bringing in someone like Shell wouldn't be a bad move. Even in Cleveland, he didn't have a roster capable of massive results; there, only Koksarov is world-class, while Sulić is a second-tier world-class handball player. You really need three or four elite players (well-trained) to win anything significant. My suggestion for Chicago would be to bring in one or two Scandinavian players, or perhaps a coach to introduce their modern style of play here. Borge Lund is currently one of the strongest backcourt players. If we had someone like Kjelling (who, in my opinion, is one of the top players in the world right now, alongside John and the great Karabatic)—if he were here and healthy, anything would be possible. I truly cannot find a flaw in his game; he knows everything, a complete player. His defense might be lacking, it's true. But his footwork, shooting ease, various shot types, ball movement, quick shots, assists, and even that step-through fake... he has it all.

playing 🙏 🙏

You have to be an expert to blow a game like that...👎

I have immense respect for everything Linus has done for American handball, but it seems like politics have become his top priority now...

Politics corrupt people, and Linus is a prime example. What he said during that final minute of the break is something even a complete amateur wouldn't say...🤣

Jaap Stam announces retirement in Soccer ·
brighthawk20 said:He’ll be remembering that LA Lakers game for the rest of his life.😂

And as for this part... honestly, okay, it's his opinion. I guess he knows better than anyone else exactly how much gas he has left in the tank.
But here's the thing... most guys his age—let alone guys his size—can only dream of making those kinds of lung-busting runs with the ball in the 100th minute of a match... just like those sprints he pulled against the LA Lakers...

Of course. He won't be getting any sleep tonight.😂

I couldn't wait for it to be over. It was even better that they lost. Now I can finally go enjoy myself; otherwise, I would have been stuck waiting until spring.

I worry about Jaap Stam, since Canada has nothing left to offer.🙂

Donna Sullivan7, stay safe. Like the previous poster said, life is a constant struggle... we're only just beginning to feel the long-term fallout from that damn war.
It’s sad what you said about the administration, but honestly, the government is just fundamentally corrupt. Politicians act like they built and defended this country, when the real heroes were YOU—our heroes who stood on the front lines 24/7 just so the rest of us could live our lives.
I was just a kid during the war, but whenever I saw a soldier, my heart would swell. I saw true role models in you all back then; you were our pride.
It’s heartbreaking to see how veterans are being treated today. People who truly deserve care and a pension are being pushed aside by the "sons of the elite" who got everything handed to them through connections without ever seeing combat.
I hope this corrupt leadership eventually comes to an end, and that honest, decent people finally lead America. I’m an optimist, so I suppose we just need to be patient...

What do you drink when you’re feeling down? You might want to try something stronger to feel better...🤣 Just kidding.
