Hey everyone, can I get some advice on a 23" LCD monitor from Best Buy for under $467? I’ve been staring at them... just staring... and honestly, I feel like a total idiot here. I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing or which one would actually be worth the money because I don't know the first thing about specs.

So, I've come to realize—and I guess it’s one of those things you only figure out after staring at benchmarks long enough—that the core clock speed isn't actually the deciding factor. It turns out that specific metric doesn't matter nearly as much as everyone seems to think it does.

Can I ask why, though? From what I can gather—and I might be wrong here—the core clock looks lower, whatever that actually implies... and honestly, I have zero intention of overclocking anything just to squeeze out a bit more speed.

If my memory serves me right, the Radeon 6850 actually pulled ahead in those benchmarks when it comes to actual gaming performance, but then again, I'm probably a total amateur when it comes to this kind of technical stuff.

If we still had it today, you’d have all that nonsense—his alcoholic father and their mother, who used to settle everyone's disputes while they just hung out by the coast, enjoying that whole little family atmosphere...🙂

The guy actually had his driver's license suspended back on May 30th... so, essentially, the police let a man who was absolutely wasted behind the wheel walk away without a license,😕 and then, naturally, another patrol pulls him over and hits him with a $2,750 fine.

The whole thing is probably going to end with some "astronomical" fine of $5000 and another six months without driving privileges... which, frankly, is going to be a massive blow to him.

What an absolute disgrace of a man and a father...

Even after his son, Harvey (24), ended up behind bars because he caused a fatal accident with a blood alcohol level of 2.45%—killing Rose Pavic (19)—Jerry Zuzic was out there driving with a staggering 2.75%.

The police actually pulled Jerry Zuzic over twice. The first time they caught him, he just flat-out refused the breathalyzer, so the cops disqualified his license and banned him from driving. But apparently, that didn't bother Jerry much; he just calmly got back in his car and kept driving despite the ban, according to reports from the LA Times.

A few hours later, near Broadway, the police caught up with him again, and this time he was hauled off to the local holding Unit.

Word is that on May 30th of this year, the Los Angeles Municipal Court issued a non-binding ruling fining Jerry Zuzic $2333 and handing him a six-month driving ban.

I guess this old alcoholic just can't seem to cut back, even after that whole tragedy...🙂

Separately from the tournaments themselves, the clubs participating in the Champions League have also started pushing for a better cut of the revenue... up until now, the EHF has been pocketing most of that Champions League cash... but now the clubs want the biggest slice of the pie... or they'll threaten to start their own competition entirely... and since there are 32 clubs involved here, that might actually turn into something real...
