If anyone happens to have technical documentation on CD-ROM drives—specifically regarding their internal mechanics, physical construction, or structural design—I’d appreciate it if you could send it my way. It doesn't strictly need to be in American English, though that would be ideal. Thanks.😉
IBM is miles ahead 😉 If you're broke, just have every single club send $1.75 directly to your account and see what happens With enough cash, you could buy a luxury car or even the whole damn forum😁
My 60-day trial of Microsoft Office just expired. Does anyone know where I can grab a free version? Even an older one works. I really don't feel like paying for this software right now. I usually breeze through my work on the PC, but I'm stuck this time. If I can't get Office, even just Word would do.
Thanks a lot.

Try searching for "free software," or if you want a direct link for LibreOffice, go ahead.😉 😬
Well, if you aren't running a firewall, an antivirus, SpyBot & TeaTimer, and a browser that isn't Internet Explorer, then sure, that might bother you.
Personally, those sites don't phase me one bit... even when I'm not browsing from Linux.
The reason it doesn't bother you is probably because you don't have antivirus installed, while mine pops up every five minutes trying to download some virus file.👍
David Wilson46 said:Sure, maybe they have more legitimate stuff out there, but look at it this way: we didn't invent sites like The Pirate Bay Google Crackfound CrackSearchEngine Crack.ru AstaSearch.com SerialDB.ORG Crack.MS AstalaVista.am freeserials.com or those massive torrent sites filled with movies before they even hit theaters—not to mention old classics and full discographies. Honestly, the whole industry is to blame. They set prices so high you’d think they were rebuilding every single album or software program from scratch instead of just collecting millions in royalties. Even the retailers act like they need to make enough profit on a single CD to buy a brand-new Ford F-150.
Everything you just listed is crawling with viruses, spyware, and adware. 😬
