If I can jump in here, the thing is Microsoft Office Picture manager won't even touch a gif file, so you're just sitting there wondering why nothing's happening. Right-click that .gif icon and just select open with Internet Explorer. I mean, technically that gif isn't even a video, it's just an image, but honestly, I haven't been following this whole thread closely enough to know where we're at.
Look, it’s pretty much foolproof when you're messing around with Synthesia. Just toss your video into the "input file" slot and make sure you set the file type to "all files." Once you're in the preview window, just stretch it out to whatever size you're feeling. Use the scale at the bottom to dial in your start and end times. As for the frame rate—if you crank it up to 10, the motion looks smooth, but man, that GIF size is going to balloon. If you drop it down to 1, like that screenshot you just posted on Imgur, the file size stays tiny, which lets you make the GIF way longer without killing your storage.
Using Synthesia. You can crank out an animation in whatever resolution or length you want, but there's a catch—the file size is going to blow right past 10 MB, and then you're stuck because, as far as I know, Imgur is the only place that actually accepts images and animations up to that 10 MB limit.
Maybe I'm just out of the loop here, but isn't it weird how all these tools look like they're just basic data recovery software? There are a million programs out there that do exactly that, yet we're sitting here talking about simple browser history... but hey, whatever you say.
What can I even say about it... a shop like that is basically a ticking time bomb because the owner never even bothers to swing by and see if the shelves are actually stocked right... and you've got the competition out there fighting tooth and nail just to stay relevant... anyway, catch you later.
hollowtrucker77 said:Gary Williams47, look, it's the forum owner's call, plain and simple I already told you, there's nothing we can do about it on this end
In this day and age, when some shop owner runs a business, he’s constantly drilling it into his employees' heads that the customer is king... or maybe it's a restaurant owner telling his staff that the guest comes first... but if you don't step up and tell him, "Hey, a few people actually want this or that," and then slap a poll in front of him with the results, well, then you're just sitting there doing nothing, right? If you actually show him what the people want, you might even get a tip or a nod of respect for being a proactive waiter... but here, we just sit back and follow the hierarchy, I guess.
Look, guys, it doesn't matter what the underlying tech of this site is... a forum is a forum...
And to the mods and admins, I’ve got something to say... this matters to us... and pay close attention to that word, *us*... that’s a word the moderators really ought to take to heart. Even if it's just a handful of us asking for this right now, don't go assuming there isn't a massive crowd behind the scenes wanting the same thing... why not just run a poll? Go ahead, give us some actual, heavy-duty reasons why this is such a huge deal for you that you're refusing to give us the option... look, you don't owe anyone an apology, those are the rules and end of story, but you're supposed to be here for our sake, and we aren't even asking for anything crazy...
Considering how many members you've actually got, you should be big in every sense of the word... but hey, "little guy," why not just step up and go all in?
Joshua Martinez7 said:You’ve gotta be something special to pull that off, but honestly, I shouldn't have been surprised when it went down... a buddy of mine was trying to flip this high-end, pretty rare smartphone, and he left his number for inquiries, which I just happened to stumble upon since he'd already asked if I was interested in buying it. So, naturally, I start digging through his other comments and see him posting about this vintage luxury car he owns—another pricey, hard-to-find beast—but then I dive deeper into his post history and it's just a total train wreck of absolute madness, everything from "I think I'm in love with my best friend's girlfriend" to "I need to go to a psych ward," plus all the usual pathetic stuff about girls turning him down or him being too frustrated to function. 😁
So you seeing what I mean now, hollowtrucker77? People will come up with a million excuses, and for them, those excuses are more than enough to justify their behavior... but for people like you, it's a massive red flag. Why don't you go file a formal complaint with the site admins, and if the moderator happens to be a guy, maybe try having a real, adult conversation with him instead of acting out... might actually do you some good one of these days.

I’d want my account nuked too, honestly. But since that’s apparently off the table, is there any way to tweak the settings so nobody can track me? Not even other users on this board? I’m looking to bail on my dear Megan Hill13 and if the itch ever comes back to visit this place again (and look, I love it here, damn it—this site was basically my first digital life and I had a blast 😍), I want to be able to sign up under a totally different handle. Given that we’re talking about straight-up stalking and an invasion of both my online and actual private life, I’m seriously asking for some help here. And please, don't come at me with that "the internet isn't private" lecture. As if I haven't figured that out already. But when people start weaponizing that fact, it turns into a direct hit on basic human rights, doesn't it?
Just log out and go through the registration process again using a different email address than the one you used here.
For crying out loud... just put your birth year in there already because you’re making me nervous... what if someone actually recognizes me and decides to slide into my wife's DMs like, "Hey, I know this jerk, let me tell your spouse what a piece of work you are"? Between the profile info and the private messages, there's no denying it's really me, you know? And if I suddenly go dark and vanish from the grid, what the hell are you gonna prove based on some old comments or posts anyway? Use some common sense for once and act like a friend instead of an idiot, for God's sake.
hollowtrucker77 said:Gary Williams47, what's your actual logic here? So you churn out a few hundred or maybe even a couple thousand posts and then some mod or admin just nukes them, but what happens to everyone who actually had a conversation with you??
From what I've gathered from lurking elsewhere, the posts usually stick around because they're considered irrelevant, but the username field just goes blank since the guy doesn't exist anymore... and when someone tries to quote him, it just shows up as a generic "quote" instead of "Gary Williams47 quote"... how am I supposed to fix that if I don't know how?....just go find a heavy-duty torrent site or some shady warez board and ask the people there... or even if Gary Williams47's name stays on the posts, once you click it, it tells you the user no longer exists... look at a site like Medium, for example, where all the blogs and comments from a deleted user stay put even though their profile is gone....there's no shame in asking a question.
Give me a break, this whole thing is actually kind of hilarious... I tried asking to have my account deleted a while back, but clearly, the priority here is just padding the member count at any cost, right? I haven't encountered a single other forum where you don't even have the option to wipe your own profile, let alone still see your name popping up after getting banned... I really have to hand it to the professionals over at that massive warez site with millions of users; they actually know how to act, talking to people, helping out, or even asking nicely instead of just immediately throwing a red flag or a ban without saying a damn word... they somehow find the time for all that. Sorry to some of the mods on this site, but we've definitely got our share of power-tripping jerks, and maybe those guys should try showing a little humanity and professionalism once in a while—you might actually get noticed and headhunted for a real job that pays well. wrbhhh, don't go looking for yourself in my complaints.
The best move, at least if you ask me, is just throwing more RAM at the problem if your rig can even handle it... or just plug in a USB stick and wait for that little pop-up to appear asking what you want to do with it via auto play, then just go ahead and hit "speed up my system" to see if it actually does anything.
So maybe they really are corrupted if some files will open while others with the exact same extension just won't... why not try running them through Format Factory to convert them into a different format... or just grab the latest K-Lite Codec Pack from here and get it installed
