Jesus, seriously!!! This crowd with all the negative stories. I even told my mother-in-law the other day, and once a neighbor tried to start one of those "Oh, Manda Bucina's aunt had complications..." type tales, and I just cut her off. I tell them: don't give me the negativity, only positive vibes please... and suddenly everyone goes quiet.
I mean, where else are you going to give birth? Why does everyone have to stick their noses in like they're part of the McCormick crew!!!

Oh, and something that totally caught me off guard during pregnancy is the bladder leakage..??!?😵 Just a few drops. Enough to ruin my underwear or a liner, and I'm only 5 months along...
I'm just hoping it stops.

As for this lady mentioned a year ago, I sincerely hope she went to her doctor with a pen and paper, because I have never read anything quite like what she wrote.
I really hope she realized that she HAS DIABETES, NOT HYPERINSULINEMIA, which is what’s actually bothering her...
That you can't just "fix" it with metformin the way you would with antibiotics.

And regarding the comments on drug pricing—manufacturing methods absolutely dictate the cost. Brand-name drugs are developed and produced in the most sophisticated laboratories in the world, undergoing incredibly rigorous quality control for *every single batch* that leaves the factory, whereas generic drugs don't always follow that same level of scrutiny. That’s why we have US pharmaceutical packaging where the active ingredient might have traveled from the other side of the globe, leaving people to suffer through all sorts of side effects.

People, please think for a second about what you are putting into your bodies. Don't you want nothing but the best for yourselves and your families? I am talking about medications that require a co-pay for reasonable amounts compared to the ones covered entirely by Medicare...

Three people in my family have used Detralex for hemorrhoids, and every single one of them was extremely satisfied. It’s half the price of Pilex, and since you actually need a prescription for it, you know it's real medicine—just call your doctor, get a digital prescription sent over, and take it to the pharmacy.
That said, sometimes private pharmacies might just let you grab it without the paperwork 😛

Anyway, I still have half a box at home for emergencies. There is no way I'm paying for Pilex when there's an equally effective, cheaper option available (about 60 tabs for $47) and they even have smaller packs.

I heard some people saying Glumcic charges around $1,800 for a nose job?
(Rhinoplasty, though I'm not sure if the price jumps when you're dealing with a deviated septum too—I assume it does, but I seriously doubt it hits $2,500.)
