Vettel is right there with Massika when it comes to handling the rain🤣

I'm just hoping it doesn't pour hard enough to force a start behind the safety car.

A little rain might just be what we need to turn things around here 🤣

Oh, and I am back 🙂...

It's good to have you back—we’ve definitely missed having some level-headed Ferrari fans around here. 😁

History can't be rewritten—from what I've seen, it usually goes "Once a Schumacher fan, always a Schumacher fan."

It really depends on how you define a Schumacher fan. To me, it’s anyone who ever pulled for him. 😁

That's a bit crude and simplistic, though I see you've at least read some Šegrt Hlapić.

Actually, the inspiration was that old movie *Who is that Pev*, which I happened to watch a few days ago. 🤣

It might be a bit blunt—maybe even primitive—but it honestly captures the vibe over at Ferrari these last few years quite accurately. 🤷

Roger Wright94 said:As for which teams will be penalized and which won't—it's all just speculation at this stage. Let's wait to see what actually happens before we start judging.

McLaren, Digic, the British teams, the Americans, and so on—they all have names. Is it really such a big deal to call drivers and teams by their actual names? Are they truly so terrible that some people feel the need to use nothing but insults and mockery?

I would also kindly ask the moderators to keep a closer eye on the language and tone used here!

Lol, the funniest ones are definitely the Ferrari fans and those former Schumacher fans—the same people who used to love calling Lojzek a crybaby, yet now they're suddenly acting offended. 🤣

Who cares about those underachievers from Maranello anyway—they're basically playing in a different league than Formula 1. 🙂

I honestly don't know what people expect from the strategists over at Mercedes—you simply can't outmaneuver a massive gap in car performance and driver skill through tactics alone. If they get lucky with a bold call, maybe they'll snag a podium, but if they just play it safe and follow everyone else's lead, they aren't going to see any meaningful results...
McLaren has arrived—they’re neck-and-neck with Red Bull now.👍

Hamilton, Vettel, Heidfeld 🙏

Button, Webber, Kobayashi aren't even close. 👍

It's the classic Mercedes dilemma—either the worst of the elite or the best of the bottom tier.

Alonso will probably try to spin his fans into a frenzy again with some heroic opening lap charge—but when you look at the big picture, it's almost laughable. One lap behind, and Massa is just predictably struggling... and Petrov? Honestly, what was he even doing out there?

So, are you just trying to build an alibi for when Ferrari inevitably chokes?

Nah, honestly, I’m actually pretty stoked with how Fernando handled things.☕

Please take a look at this.Interesting read—especially considering which outlet actually published it. 😁

I suspect we’re in for quite a show this year—plenty of those signature heroic stunts from Alonso—and honestly, he and the Ferrari crew certainly have a flair for the dramatic—but at the end of the day, all that spectacle won't actually change the final results. 😁

Webber didn't leave any room for Vettel—it was basically a push—he just nudged him out of the way, and that was that. It’s one of those messy situations where everything just falls apart in an instant.

If you look at the cause and effect—the way Webber was pushing and that sudden jerk from Vettel—it’s all just a symptom. The real issue is an impatient Vettel—he simply lacks the maturity to wait for a clean opening when he's in a faster car.

- It bothers me how Webber didn't treat Vettel with the same respect he showed his other teammate.
- It bothers me that he acted the way he did, even though he was fully aware he was hurting both Vettel and the entire team he drives for.
- It bothers me that he expects this same team, and Vettel specifically, to treat him with complete kindness after the way he treated them.

In Turkey, the championship standings looked like this:

1. Mark Webber (Aus) Red Bull 78 points
2. Sebastian Vettel (Ger) Red Bull 78
3. Fernando Alonso (Sp) Ferrari 75
4. Jenson Button (GB) McLaren 70
5. Felipe Massa (It) Ferrari 61
6. Robert Kubica (Pol) Renault 59

Now, please—give me just one single rational reason why Webber should be letting Vettel pass.🤷

I don't mind the debate at all—and I'm certainly not holding a grudge against Gil or anyone else—since I actually enjoy our back-and-forth discussions.😁

In my view, the reality looks something like this:
guilt:
Horner (and the Red Bull Racing leadership in general) — 40%
Vettel — 30%
Webber — 30%

The nuance in the argument really comes down to one thing—I personally think it's Weeber at 30.5% and Vettel at 29.5%, whereas Gil seems to have those percentages flipped.🤣

That would be true if Webber had just joined F1 yesterday—but even a novice knows that Webber is a tough competitor who demands respect when you try to overtake him. Vettel was indeed faster, and he really should have handled the situation with more grace. He didn't, which is why I place the bulk of the blame on him.😉

In my view—and I wouldn't say the opposite if we were talking about Sebastian Vettel—if he had done that, I’d certainly be tipping my hat to him...

And frankly, I'm just thankful there's at least one team out there that actually lets their drivers race instead of putting on some circus act or playing math games...

I still hold onto the hope that one day comes where money won't ruin absolutely everything it touches...👎

Let's be real here—Dietrich Mateschitz is only this honest because any kind of shady business could seriously damage the "Red Bull" brand, and he isn't willing to risk that. If his lifestyle depended on funding from Arab sheiks like everyone else, he'd be manipulating 😉

cosmicridge5 said:Yeah, he’s ready—and honestly, he'd step over anyone to get there if that's what it takes. Even his own teammates. It's just ruthless.

Formula 1 is just one of those sports—where Mark Webber isn't exactly the first or the last driver willing to step over anyone to get ahead. 🤷

How much of an idiot does someone have to be—honestly—to go around talking to the press two races before the season ends, claiming the team is emotionally checked out behind Sebastian Vettel? Just watch yourself. It feels... emotional—honestly, just a bit overwhelming.Because you can't—and frankly, shouldn't have to—prove that on an emotional level. Asshole.

It doesn't really matter—what counts is that he stirred the pot and threw Sebastian Vettel's crew completely off their game. 🤷

No, he isn't doing that right—anyone with half a brain saw through him immediately. And honestly, I even puked a little. 😁

Is it just me, or does Red Bull seem to have completely lost its edge? This entire season—if you've been paying any attention—really seems to prove that point. 🤣

Sebastian Vettel actually fascinated me just now—the way he refused to let himself be pushed around or treated like some kind of fool.

You don't necessarily have to stoop to his level just to give him a proper response—it’s often better to stay above the fray. 🤷

Well, that’s that then. 😍 That’s exactly why I love him—and then you have these people coming at him: Don't even go there—seriously. That’s it—all five. 🤣

I used to be such a fan of Kimi Räikkönen—really rooting for him—but as I've gotten older, I’ve found myself wishing he would approach his races with a bit more tactical discipline.

Sebastian Vettel—you see—has managed to strike this perfect balance between Fernando’s cold, calculated rationality (which I don't necessarily dislike, though Fernando would never be the type to ask who had the fastest lap in a situation like this; he just lacks that certain boyish charm)—and that Hemošev-like, unbridled impulsiveness. The track looks bone-dry—honestly, it’s right on the edge of needing intermediates. Let’s get this race started! )

So—neither boiled nor roasted. 😁

Pure guts without a cool head aren't worth a damn—in fact, they're usually counterproductive. I'm honestly surprised you don't see that yet 😁

Then again, you can always sell grit when you're desperate—just look at Jenson Button🤣

Webber is a seasoned veteran—he knows this is likely his last shot at leaving a real legacy in Formula 1—so he’s playing every card in the deck, including psychological games and manipulating the crew, the press, and the fans. He’s incredibly good at it. 🤷

Vettel, on the other hand, is just too soft—both as a man and a driver—to push back against that kind of pressure effectively. Quote : let's go, some might point to his trophies, but honestly, what kind of absolute idiot asks who has the fastest lap when you're leading the race with only three laps left? 🙂 Plus, he really should have stood up to Webber instead of acting like Joe Biden. 🙄

When you look at the track, Webber clearly has the guts—even if he lacks the composure—and he’s a true opportunist. Compared to him, Vettel just seems like an immature kid. 🤷

I guess we can finally say the season is officially over.

Honestly, being a McLaren fan feels a bit like self-inflicted torture... you're always hovering so close to the front, yet somehow just out of reach.

🤮

We really need to bring Dennis back.
