redpilot37 said:Why waste that kind of money? Just grab some B12 sublingual tablets from NOW Foods on Amazon. You can get a 100-count bottle for about $6. It’s a no-brainer.
Actually, that spray is pretty solid too.

Man, give me a break.😁

So I called my doctor about the B12 thing, and she’s all like, "Well, we need to look at your complete blood count first," and starts going on about how there are a bunch of different parameters to check before deciding if you even need supplements, and if you *do* need them, you might have to deal with shots for the long haul. Basically, she didn't give me a straight answer. Honestly, it felt like she had no clue what this whole B12 spray trend was even about.

Anyway, I'm just gonna spray one or two doses of that organic stuff from the local health food store under my tongue and see if it actually does anything after a while.😁

So, I grabbed this B12 spray—just one dose under the tongue once a day.
The lady at the CVS counter was swearing up and down that it’s top-tier (said she uses it herself), plus everyone else picking it up seems to be raving about it too...
Well, we'll see if it actually does anything.
redpilot37 said:Sprays are fine, and sublinguals work just as well...

Wait, so you put that under your tongue?

I stumbled upon these
Are they actually any good?😁 Everyone’s raving about them.

Let me give everyone a quick refresher on where things stand here.
I’m looking for some solid advice—which B12 supplement actually works? I've been browsing and it seems like you can get it in capsules or even as a spray. Any thoughts?

My blood work just came back and my B12 levels are sitting at 175.

I mostly grab my stuff from iHerb when they have sales, but I usually go quiet for about three months at a time, then I'm back at it spending maybe $1200-$500.

My PEA (Palmitoylethanolamide) just showed up today.

Honestly, it all boils down to what specific issue you're dealing with. Once you actually nail down the root cause, building a solid supplement stack becomes way easier.

Just try taking 5g of Reishi mushrooms and 5mg of lithium orotate... then come back and tell me how your symptoms feel after that.. XD

It’s hard for people to wrap their heads around the fact that antidepressants aren't a "cure" for anxiety or depression—they mostly just mask the underlying issues if anything.
Sadly, in some rare cases, you might only need one single supplement or nootropic because there are so many different variables at play.

The real wake-up call for me was seeing this guy who completely cleared up his peripheral neuropathy using nothing but supplements and nootropics, even after mainstream doctors basically gave up on him.
Bottom line: there isn't much that natural supplements can't help address. Plus, there's a ton of research out there suggesting depression is really just neuroinflammation.

But look, people actually need to educate themselves. Not all supplements are created equal, and neither are the manufacturers.

For example, there is a massive difference between standard alpha lipoic acid and R-lipoic acid. Or take turmeric—you've got BCM-95, Longvida, C3... those are leagues ahead.

And those cheap B-complex vitamins you see everywhere? They're pretty much useless. You want the methylated, active forms so your body can actually absorb and use them properly.

And so on...

One quick side note:
Hey, which specific Reishi powder are you using? There are way too many brands on the market right now..
From what I can see, you can find Reishi tinctures on Etsy or local farmer's markets, but I don't know—which is better for potency, the drops or the powder?
Gallbladder polyps: What should I know? in Health ·
Look, just go see a surgeon and let them give you the straight talk. Surgery is really the only medical way to handle it. Sure, there are "alternative" methods out there floating around the internet, but they aren't actual medicine, so they won't be covered in this PDF.

I’ve got a few tiny polyps myself—maybe 3-4mm—which I found during my annual abdominal ultrasounds. Mine are cholesterol polyps, basically a souvenir from eating like crap for years. From what I’ve gathered from doctors, it’s incredibly rare for these things to turn into cancer. Honestly, whenever you even mention the word "polyp," most doctors just start waving their hands dismissively, and I was one of those people who jumped at the mention of it too. I remember an abdominal surgeon telling me about two years ago that according to standard medical literature, you only really need to look at surgical removal once they hit the 10mm mark. As long as you stay disciplined and keep monitoring them, you can manage it just fine.

By the way, is it actually normal to have mucus showing up in my urine?
The report mentions something about it.
Hey everyone... Just got back from my physical at the doctor's office. I'm trying to make sense of some of these lab results and wanted to see what you guys think about my blood work and urine panel. Specifically, my MCHC came back slightly elevated—the reference range is 320-345, but I clocked in at 346. Should I be sweating this?

Then there's the urine analysis...
Leukocytes are 0-5
Epithelial cells 0-5
Some mucus present

Honestly, I deal with the whole bloody nose thing too sometimes when I'm blowing it. It’s usually just the dry winter air messing with everything—it dries out your nasal passages until those tiny capillaries just give up and snap, and then you've got blood everywhere. Plus, I’ve got a deviated septum, so it’s kind of a perfect storm of issues whenever the temperature drops.

Hey everyone. If you’re dealing with some serious butt pain and just want some relief while sitting down, listen up.
I picked up this cushion.
https://www.amazon.com/pressure-relief-cushion/example

Honestly, this thing is a lifesaver. They’ve got a bunch of different versions out there—inflatable ones, water-filled ones, memory foam, even these specialized sponge cushions like the one I'm using right now.

Sarah Williams37 said:I bought a seat cushion and honestly, nothing. For the last year, I just haven't been able to get them to clear up at all. And NOW that I see they can even come back after surgery, I'm seriously at a loss. Can someone please give me some advice? Like, which doctor should I look into for the THD method, what's the damage cost-wise, and was the recovery relatively chill? Most importantly, do they stay gone, or do they pop back up in two or three years?

That sucks. I really hope you find a way to deal with this once and for all...
I remember mentioning hemorrhoid surgery to my doctor once, and she straight up told me, "Even that isn't a 100% cure." There's always a chance they'll make a comeback...

Anyway, tell me about that cushion you got—does it actually help even a little bit? It’s supposed to take some of the pressure off the hemorrhoids, right?

Hey there. Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a seat cushion to deal with hemorrhoids?

Brandon Brown29 said:Alright, I’m back again. So, look, I deal with occasional hemorrhoid flare-ups from time to time, but for the last three days, my external hemorrhoid has been totally swollen up. I went to see my doctor yesterday, and she prescribed some Fact ointment. She actually tried to push the hemorrhoid back inside, but from what I can tell, the area around the opening is still super swollen and tender to the touch. There’s a massive amount of advice floating around out there on how to handle this stuff, so I figured I’ll just take them one by one and see what works.😁
From everything I’ve been reading and listening to lately, even getting surgery doesn't give you a 100% guarantee that those damn hemorrhoids won't just come right back.

Look, in my case, the hemorrhoids rarely actually bleed—it’s more like just a tiny trace of blood on the toilet paper once in a while. Usually, it’s just this nagging, dull ache and a stinging sensation. After I finish up in the restroom, I always make sure to rinse off. When I'm at the office, I just use wet wipes to clean things up, but man, there are times right after I go where I get that annoying "incomplete emptying" feeling. It’s the worst. Once I get home, though, I can fix it—I'll just turn the shower to cold, hop in the tub, sit there for about 15 minutes, and absolute bliss. Total relief. But being at work? That's the nightmare. If it hits me while I'm on the clock, it’s brutal. For a few minutes, I’m literally walking around like I’ve got a broomstick shoved up my ass. All my good moods just vanish instantly. For me, diet is everything. If I eat junk and then spend way too much time hunched over my computer, I’ll feel the consequences within a couple of days. So now, I try to avoid sitting for too long and steer clear of certain foods. I drink as much water as possible, stick to home-cooked meals, and you can bet I'm getting plenty of fruits and veggies. Even a quick walk helps keep things moving.
So, I'm looking around right now trying to find a decent cushion for my hemorrhoids. I'm basically trying to figure out how much I can actually relieve the pressure on my main veins when I'm stuck sitting on one of those rock-hard office chairs.

Just wanted to give you guys an update—things have improved a ton. I’ve been taking the Pilex tablets and using Hemo-ex as a topical, plus I messed around with some ointment for hemorrhoids. I also started hitting the shower with cold water. Over time, that damn hemorrhoid actually shrunk down and isn't flared up anymore. I can still feel it's there, but it's way smaller now, and the itching and pain? Completely gone.

Look, I know I’m supposed to stay off my butt as much as possible—less sitting, more walking, that whole deal—but man, when you're dealing with hard stools, it's a total nightmare. It absolutely wrecks me. If things get backed up for even a couple of days, it's game over. Honestly, it’s not even surprising when hemorrhoids start acting up; when you're passing something that hard, it just wears down the vein until it gets inflamed, and then you're stuck dealing with all that crap. Thinking back to how brutal it used to be... compared to that, what I'm feeling now is pure bliss.

To be honest, I haven't really dealt with any actual bleeding—it’s actually pretty rare for me to see blood. For me, it usually shows up as this intense pain and itching instead. But lately, things have taken a turn for the worse; I’ve got this swollen vein—basically a clot about the size of a pea—and man, it is brutal. It’s causing this nasty, sharp pain and constant itching... honestly, it's just pure misery.

So, I’m hitting my last round of Pilex tomorrow, and now I’m second-guessing everything. Should I go ahead and grab another round, or is this week enough to get the job done?

Reading through all the posts here, I’ve gotta admit—compared to some of you guys, I’m basically a total newbie.😁

Back again. I deal with hemorrhoids every once in a while, but for the last three days, I’ve had this swollen external hemorrhoid driving me crazy. I went to see my doctor yesterday and she prescribed some Fact ointment. She actually pushed the hemorrhoid back inside, but from what I can tell, it’s still swollen right under my finger. There’s a mountain of advice out there for dealing with this stuff, so I’m just going to tackle them one by one.😁
From everything I read and hear, even surgery isn't a 100% guarantee that they won't come back...

In my case, bleeding is pretty rare—maybe just a tiny trace of blood on the toilet paper occasionally. It's more about that intermittent dull ache and a slight stinging sensation. After I go, I always make sure to rinse up with a showerhead, though when I'm at work, I just use wet wipes after I finish my business. Sometimes, right after I'm done, I get that annoying feeling like I haven't fully emptied everything. When I'm home, it's manageable; I just hop in the tub, run some cold water, sit in it for about 15 minutes, and man, it's pure bliss. But being at work? That's the nightmare. If it hits me while I'm on the clock, it's rough. I end up walking around for a few minutes like I've got a broomstick shoved up my ass, and all my good vibes vanish instantly. So, I try to avoid sitting for too long and stay away from certain foods. I drink tons of water, stick to home-cooked meals, and obviously, plenty of fruits and veggies. Walking helps too.
Now I'm looking into buying one of those hemorrhoid cushions to see if it helps take some of the pressure off my main veins when I'm stuck sitting on a hard chair.

Karen Adams2 Asks:
You only pull the trigger on surgery when things hit rock bottom—when you’re sitting there thinking, "Look, I don't care if they come back slightly different, I just want to be able to live a normal life for a while."
Look, from what I've gathered, there are basically two types of hemorrhoids: you’ve got the "polite" ones that show up, act out for a bit, and then vanish without a trace, and then you’ve got the absolute nightmares—the kind that just refuse to quit and end up making your entire life a living hell day after miserable day.
Unfortunately, I’ve got the same kind of luck.😒

Spot on.
Look, I’m telling you right now—hemorrhoids don't have to be your permanent roommates. You can actually get them to shrink down. It’s not just some "deal with it" situation where you have to suffer in silence while sitting on a hard chair. There are ways to tackle this.
Look, private.uvjerava is out here telling me that once you hit that second stage, it’s nothing but an uphill battle. They’re convinced that things just keep spiraling—like, you can't even get back to baseline anymore. It just gets harder and harder on the patient, which obviously turns the whole surgery into a total nightmare. And let's be real: there's absolutely zero guarantee that you'll ever actually get back to being 100% normal again.

Look, those hemorrhoids didn't just show up out of nowhere for no reason. They’re a symptom, plain and simple. Now, surgery isn't even on my radar anymore—I'm done with that route. Instead, I'm focused on digging deep to find the actual root cause and actually fixing the problem at its source.

Just left the Vinogradski clinic after seeing the vascular surgeon about these hemorrhoids. Guy basically does a quick check and tells me they're second-degree. His take? It’s not worth surgery yet... says since I'm still young, we should hold off.
I showed him my previous results from the private clinic, and he asked if I wanted a second opinion. I told him, "Hell yeah." Even though he admitted hemorrhoids can be borderline cases for surgery, his professional opinion is better to just leave it alone for now.

He told me that you can find anything written on the internet, and honestly, paper can say whatever it wants too.😁 He was reacting to what I said about looking up hemorrhoid info online.😁
But then he suggested I get a CBC done because I might be anemic, and he mentioned it could even be a genetic thing.
His point was that if we *were* going to do surgery, it needs to be handled by someone who actually knows their stuff—because if things go sideways and complications hit, you don't want the whole situation ending in a disaster.

Plus, let's be real: no surgery guarantees 100% that those damn hemorrhoids won't come back anyway.
So, I'm not just jumping under the knife for anyone. Just like there are plenty of hack mechanics out there, there are plenty of doctors who aren't up to the task either.

Hey everyone, so these hemorrhoids are starting to seriously get on my nerves—they're popping up more and more often lately. I’ve been using Ultraproct cream, which actually helped, though the lady at the pharmacy told my wife that we shouldn't overdo it with that stuff too frequently.
Yesterday, I went to see a specialist at Misir Clinic to figure out exactly what was going on. Based on how everything felt, I was dead certain I was dealing with external ones, but turns out I was totally wrong.😁They're internal..

Diagnosis: Nod.hem.in.gr. ll
Results:
Hemorrhoidal issues present. Anal region appears normal upon inspection. Anoscopy shows a full ring of internal hemorrhoids. Indications for IRC therapy exist, but it's being postponed for now..

The report says to stick to a light diet and use some baby cream (like Desitin)
They quoted me $2,500 for laser removal at their facility. According to the doc, it's permanent, and the whole procedure takes maybe 10 to 15 minutes. After that, I can jump right back into my daily routine, provided I watch what I eat. It looks like there are three or four little things to deal with, so I'd have to go in three times, once every three weeks, for the laser sessions.

So, my sister is telling me that stage one is the easiest, then stage two is short, and then you hit stages three and four, which I assume are way more complicated and definitely pricier..

I'm heading to see my regular doctor tomorrow to run this by her..
I wanted to ask, what kind of options am I really looking at here?
Is there anywhere that does this cheaper?
Is the laser method actually the most effective way to go?
Has anyone here actually gone to Misir Clinic to get those things removed?

Since all these creams are just temporary fixes and things could easily spiral, I don't want to drag my feet. If I don't go the private route, the next step is the hospital..
Look, I'm no genius—deciding between a private clinic or the public hospital is tough. I don't want to end up being someone's "learning experience" because they're having a bad day.😁 Obviously, the hospital is the best move since it's free, but I really don't want to be the guinea pig for some resident practicing their skills..

About 2.5 years ago, I had a rectoscopy done at a different clinic. I still have the paperwork, but they didn't find anything regarding hemorrhoids back then. My doctor even told me I was fine, though the lining was a bit inflamed and I was feeling symptoms too. Clearly, they've progressed to stage two since then.🤔

Hey, quick heads-up: I was in a wreck recently. Not my fault, obviously. Called the cops, they did their thing and filed the report, then we headed over to the insurance company (think State Farm) once all the red tape was cleared. They sent me an offer, I took it, shot them an email, and everything was set... about 2.5 months ago.

The claim paperwork says the payout should happen within 15 to 30 days. So, what's the deal—should I expect some total bullshit, or can I actually breathe easy knowing the money will hit my account within that window?
