The link isn't working. Is there any saint out there willing to host these files? You guys really got me hyped up. It’s like having Russ under the influence of Tom Waits... come on, help a person out..
Some people on this forum just can't seem to grasp that not every movie is built the same. You can't walk into every screening expecting the exact same experience. Different films require different sets of criteria—and honestly, different expectations. Hellboy falls squarely into the "pulp" category; it’s popcorn entertainment, and that's how you should judge it. If you're sitting there expecting something deep like Breaking the Waves, you're either being dense or you're just a grade-A snob. 👋
Spot on, Jeremy Bennett. It’s pure popcorn entertainment, nothing more. And as far as that goes, the movie does its job. Look, folks, are you seriously expecting something along the lines of Bergman or Fellini when you go out to see these kinds of flicks? Because if that's your standard, then 95% of everything being produced globally is going to be garbage.
I liked it. It is what it is. If you’re looking for some profound cinematic masterpiece, look elsewhere. But if you enjoyed Van Helsing, you’ll probably dig Hellboy. There are some solid jokes, the special effects are decent enough, and unlike most superhero flicks, this lead actually feels like a human being rather than a cardboard cutout.
Look, I’m not trying to label you or anything like that. It’s just hilarious to me that you think you could cut 95% of a movie and somehow end up with a masterpiece! 👍

And the whole thing would have been total garbage if it didn't have Hal, those spaceships, and the monolith! Seriously though...
