The mods really need to nail down what counts as a spoiler and actually make it clear to everyone on the board. Until they do, I don't see much point in even discussing it.

In my opinion, the way ambermason16 is handling herself in that thread is just totally uncalled for—honestly pretty offensive and clearly uninformed.

I’m leaning toward just ignoring people like that—if it isn't true on the Green Party forum, then it isn't true. wiredviper, you’ve got that classic "everyone hates us" routine going on, which doesn't really have much substance behind it. You're trolling—don't.

It’s not great for the forum—not for the mods, not for the users, and especially not for the newbies, who I guess tend to fall for the trolls and spammers more easily.

Maybe you should run those questions by Anderlon instead? Since I haven't been on the forum all that long—I guess I’d be a little surprised to see a supermod asking things like that...

They aren't just locking threads for no reason. It usually happens once a topic starts looping or when they need to curb the spamming and trolling. I guess any lock can be justified—it really just comes down to whether the rule is that moderators decide when a conversation has run its course, or if users should be allowed to chat as much as they want while mods just clean up the trolls and off-topic noise. It used to feel more like the latter.

When you say "things have changed," do you mean if I went to complain to Alexander Hamilton about this, he'd tell me they actually updated their policy? I’m not talking about this specific thread, as if one single thing matters—good grief. I mean that at the FBI, this happens all the time. Once the mods decide a thread has "run its course," they shut it down, regardless of what people on Reddit think. I don't really have an issue with it if that's just how the site works. But if the official policy is the exact opposite, then I guess I'd prefer it if the subreddits I follow followed rules that actually made sense to me. 😬

I was wondering why threads on the Relationship sub on Reddit get locked so often.

I get that things get repetitive—and long threads can turn into shouting matches pretty easily—but this one felt like a total conversation killer. It could've sparked some really smart replies, too, since it’s a fresh topic, not something dug up from the Stone Age. I thought people actually preferred those massive, hundred-page discussions?

It was basically Zdenko Franjić, Banjanin, Kornel, Meniga, Six, some crazy Sergej, and I think there was some other guy releasing electronic stuff—I can't remember his name now, which is embarrassing. Mate ali showed up later, though he was a bit late since his back was acting up and he walks pretty slow—but honestly, he didn't really have much to say since the guy doesn't even have a label! LOL!

Zdenko Franjić was definitely the most romantic one; he said love is what drives everything, threw out a few funny jokes, and mentioned he puts out about 80 releases a year. Total legend. Then he just headed out. I guess his back was hurting too, so he’s taking his sweet time getting home after dressing for the occasion.

Anyway, I don't know, everyone said all sorts of things, but the bottom line was more or less that the whole situation is a mess—that people aren't buying local releases, the government is screwing us over, and it's hard to expand across the country because of the broken system. Still, they said you have to push beyond borders because the domestic market is just too small. Bands should play around more, too, but even that's tough since clubs are struggling because nobody has any money. Six said all this depressing stuff and mentioned they might invite Mirkić next time since he’s actually cheerful and funny—Six kind of convinced all of us, I think, or maybe not everyone, but I've been feeling pretty down all day. Not kidding.

Besides, everyone there was already pretty old and washed-up punk, and they need younger people to step up, so get involved. Not you, Betty Booth5—you're already old and washed-up and not even a punk, so there's nothing for you to find there.

Everyone is hoping for the same thing: that this panel might inspire someone to help out, spark an idea, or just that things will eventually improve so people actually have money to buy music, and maybe the government will act somewhat normal like they do in other countries.

So, if you read this, please go buy an album by Munli—because Six and Miran are good people and we wouldn't want those loan sharks breaking their legs!!!
