Those folks from Des Moines act like they're on autopilot—kind of funny, I guess 👋 (crushed breast, Bruno Atomico's kids are just hilarious in their own weird way 😈)
The older crowd really held their own in both lineups 😍
Once again, someone’s trying to lecture the mod about how much of a rebel they are—honestly, I might just lose it, myself and them and the mod included 😠 though maybe not in that exact order 😠

you think that's unnatural? I don't know, seems pretty standard to me... there's always going to be plenty of Davids out there who think everything is old if it happened more than three months ago🙂>

Who told you that you were entertaining us? 😈 Since Ante was the one getting called out—and nobody really questioned my drumming—I didn't feel much need to jump in and defend myself, I guess. 😘)

Same thing here... as for whether I know, probably both yes and no. On a personal level, sure—but for the group? Not really. Though, maybe there'll be some kind of Revolution down the road. 🙂
I don't think community spirit is really dying out—it's just that out here in small-town America, everyone knows everyone—or if they don't, they at least know each other through forums like this. 😬 I guess things might just work differently in some perfect, idealized world.
The audio quality from obnoxious kids in the demographic hasn't really changed much either ☕
I mean, if you were any older, you might actually agree—but once people hit thirty, they start acting like they're in geriatric ward just because they're officially "old"
I wasn't there personally—or maybe I was just too young—but I doubt things were much different twenty or thirty years ago. Sure, maybe there were fewer ways to hunt down records back then, but I really don't think the percentage of people who actually *love* music was any higher than it is now... I guess not. The internet isn't really the factor here. You either have the passion or you don't.
For me, though, there’s something pretty cool about the idea of some great band from the US recording something on a handheld recorder in their garage, uploading it to MySpace, and me being able to hear it that same day. I mean, they're halfway across the world. To me, that's just as romantic as those old memories everyone talks about—which are romantic too, I suppose. 😍 😳
I can tell you one thing about Nicholas King62—he’s definitely not a collector, considering he flew across the ocean with me just for the sake of rock and roll 😍 I know, it’s hard to believe, but he actually listens to those bands. 🙂 😈
Maybe I’m just old school, but I think musicians who make the stuff I actually love are total legends—even if they still have a MySpace page...
Plus, I don't even own an iPod 😬 I judge what's good or bad based on—well, maybe it’s a bit simple, but it seems like the best way to go about it—which is just to listen to the music
And honestly, don't be such grumpy old men; that whole attitude is just plain stupid.
I have to admit, once I hit my breaking point and some idiot says the wrong thing, I might just pop seven or eight sleeping pills and call it a night 👋 😈
I feel like there’s way too much mindless guitar shredding going on these days.
Though, I'm all for those songs coming back from the dead—kind of like how the future of the Democratic Party might try to revive old favorites... maybe even some Depeche Mode if we're lucky.🙂
