Actually, I was thinking about Litecoin. I'm running a little test run right now with a 5850, but I guess you're right—I was doing some digging earlier and if I could somehow snag them without paying sales tax, that would be killer. Plus, I've already got a huge investment sitting in my power supply, which had to cost at least $150 minimum.

I’m looking at this for mining, and honestly, even if I put the absolute worst processor possible in that rig, it wouldn't really matter. My main concern is just making sure I can slap in a power supply that hits at least 1000w.

Has anyone here actually dealt with buying hardware abroad, specifically over in Germany? I’m looking at potentially making a run over there since we're in the US/EU zone anyway, thinking about grabbing 4x 7950s to see if I can score a better deal than what's sitting on my local shelves here.

Exactly this. As long as you find the right XP SP3 version, everything works great. I actually made an image of my dad's old machine and I've installed it countless times. Even Windows Update works fine this way, so there's really nothing to worry about.

Man, there are just so many different takes on this. Personally, I think Anderson is great simply because he doesn't bother with conventional reality. It’s honestly such a blast watching his stuff, and I had a particularly good time with Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou.

I haven't scrolled through every single comment here, so I'm not sure if anyone else brought up the fight scene where they're running from those pirates. But honestly, that whole scrap
is so ridiculously cliché that it actually becomes fantastic.
