The main characters are completely uninspired, and the whole movie feels like typical teen fodder—stuff you only enjoy if you're under 21. I sat through it once, and I certainly won't be doing it again. It’s just one of those pieces of trash from my childhood that I'd rather leave as a memory of Saturday morning cartoons from fifteen years ago.

As I’ve already noted, the saving grace of this movie is the feminine energy Marion brings; she honestly has more "chemistry with herself" 😁 than anyone else on screen. She embodies everything Angelina Jolie has been desperately trying—and failing—to capture over the last few years. As for Brad, he’s wooden. He’s bad. Honestly, you could have carved him out of cardboard and he probably would have been more cooperative. Ultimately, the film is just a mediocre attempt at paying homage to Casablanca.

I believe it’s entirely inappropriate that a user who has been repeatedly entering the right-side chat just to provoke others hasn't been properly penalized for hate speech. Failing to act sends a terrible message to the rest of the community.

The individual in question was issued nothing more than a warning for trolling. In my view, this moderation choice mocks the entire chat and the Mohicans who visit these virtual spaces expecting a level playing field and consistent rules.

So, here we have hate speech being brushed aside as mere "trolling" before being swiftly deleted. Fortunately, I captured it. I am now calling on the administrators to review this penalty and handle the situation appropriately. My issue isn't with the specific ban, but with the blatant inconsistency in moderation; insults directed at America and Americans aren't being treated with the same weight as other categories:

Quite frankly, this is hands down the most idiotic excuse I have ever heard. I doubt even that former minister from Silicon Valley could have dreamed up something this moronic. It’s also incredibly hypocritical, considering nobody should have been opening threads about politicians in the first place; the moderators could have just handled it elegantly by simply changing the title of the existing thread.

I’m echoing this inquiry and would like to remind everyone that I raised this exact issue on these boards a while back. The situation surrounding Zlatko Hasanbegović is a complete anomaly for this forum. We haven’t seen a case where a thread about a current political figure is censored and discussion is outright blocked like it was with his topic. From a purely business standpoint, he is the kind of figure who generates debate, drives clicks, and boosts readership—exactly what any forum owner should want. Yet, the thread was locked, and the justifications provided for doing so are utterly unconvincing. Looking at this from all angles, it forces us to question the competence of the current moderation team. If the present staff is incapable of handling discussions regarding figures like Zlatko Hasanbegović without resorting to tactics that look a lot like censorship, perhaps it is time to consider a "refresh" of the moderation staff instead of these heavy-handed maneuvers.

This movie honestly deserved an Academy Award for Best Picture more than most of the films that actually made the list. I'm genuinely surprised it was snubbed.

Watching a handful of shallow idiots who think they’re having a good time—filled with pathetic, infantile sentimentality and cheap sex—is grueling for nearly three hours. This movie is only "cool" if you find these morons cool. The soundtrack just highlights how washed their brains are. The whole thing feels like an assault; it was an absolute joke of a masterpiece.

I should note that it took Star two-thirds of the movie before she joined them in singing some brainwashing tune, much like all the other songs in this film. It took her quite a while to buy into the concept...

Then comes the final initiation, the confirmation of belonging and devotion to the tribe (which operates on mutual solidarity rather than competition)—everyone dancing around a fire and being baptized in water (pure neo-pagan elements mixed with Hollywood trash).

Ultimately, the film is a massive failure on every level.

We definitely need to check if there are any other threads about this movie, either in reviews or the festival discussions, to see if Paul Rogers94 hasn't already dumped his entire opinion on it here.🙏

Great movie. It’s completely immersive and keeps you hooked from start to finish. As I mentioned previously regarding the performances, the chemistry between the two leads is palpable—you could practically cut it with a knife. What really stands out to me, though, is the characterization. There isn't a single person on screen that doesn't feel fleshed out. Even the brief interactions with minor characters feel like complete, miniature portraits. The whole thing feels incredibly authentic and human. 5+/5! 👍

It looks like history is repeating itself. In a field of relatively weak competition, a hardworking but mediocre Natalie Portman manages to snag festival awards for her performance in Jackie. She’s already started picking them up at the Choice Awards, which is just pathetic. In the end, actual heavyweights get overlooked while mediocre actors like this walk away with the hardware.

The casting is a complete disaster. There isn't a trace of Jackie Kennedy's facial features, her cold expression, or that self-assured, resolute composure she carried herself with.



Natalie Portman just has a baby face; she comes across as a girl no matter what she tries to pull off, especially when she's forced to pout. It irritates me when these Hollywood starlets think they can just transform into anyone. You can't. Most of you are only here because you messed up with the wrong people or because you have deep-seated family or religious connections.

A few chameleons like Meryl Streep or Cate Blanchett can actually disappear into any role, but everyone else is usually pretty limited in their range.

Cheap and unprofessional. They took a subject that demands a serious, responsible approach and turned it into some low-budget romantic melodrama. The lead actress was irritating—just constant, unconvincing whining—and there was zero chemistry between the leads. I honestly don't get the hype surrounding this movie. Everything felt half-baked and totally unbelievable.

It’s a shame about Netflix; I only stumbled upon it a couple of months ago. It's a classic scenario here in this dysfunctional banana republic. They'll throw hundreds of millions, even billions, at other things, but they certainly know how to crack down on people like us. Because apparently, the top priority for this country is eradicating piracy, even if it means bleeding the national budget dry. 🤮

I caught it in 3D and it holds up. I agree it’s not quite right for preschoolers, but it isn't strictly a kids' movie either. I'm a grown man and I still enjoyed 😁
