My previous card was an HD 3870 with 1GB of GDDR4, and I managed to get quite a bit of gaming done with it.

Is this card any better, and will it even work in my rig?http://www.amazon.com/Graphics-Card...-L-265902.aspx

It isn't because your power supply or RAM is lacking; it's simply that your processor is too weak to handle the load.

Larry Ortiz5 said:I can recommend just about any modern card for you. But first, give me the rest of the specs—CPU, RAM, power supply... Also, what’s your actual budget for this upgrade? You can't just slap a high-end GPU into a system if the processor and PSU are garbage.

The PSU is a Blue Storm 2 500W.
I have 4GB of RAM.
Processor is an Intel celeron dual Core 1.8.
Looking at a used card for under $100. Is that reasonable? And how much would a new one run me?

Does anyone actually know which specific graphics cards are compatible with the miscellaneous motherboard?

In this specific instance, the shipment was $117 (shipping was $16), and now the recipient wants to return it. What kind of fee am I looking at for that return trip??

I don't think you're out of luck $27...I once had a similar situation using USPS where the package wasn't picked up, and I ended up shelling out about $27 🙂
. That’s why it's always smarter to stick to direct bank transfers/Zelle 😁
