Megan Barnes3 said:@tatinaprincezo don't listen to those people pushing outdated rims or anyone who clearly hasn't a clue what they're talking about... just follow your gut. If you've got the willpower, you can overcome an addiction like this. Just stay steady and stick by him. But if you see that he truly DOESN'T want to change? Then walk away. But if he actually wants to? Just be there for him. You guys can take on anything together.

Seriously, you should take her advice. 😂

Kenneth Brooks9, you really need to think about how this could blow up on your whole family.

Because once someone like that walks into a stable household, they can just wreck everything that was actually working fine before they showed up.

It’s such a messy, complicated situation, honestly, and there’s probably enough to write a whole book about.

I’m really hoping you’ll take what we’re saying to heart, even if we’re all just random people on the internet to you... but that’s honestly why I love these forums so much, seeing people lay out their struggles and knowing that every bit of advice helps. 👍

@Raymond Wilson4

Honestly, checking into rehab doesn't mean much if the guy doesn't have that inner grit to actually kick the Elvis Presley habit for good.
I’ve seen plenty of people go through this where they come out after two or three years looking pretty solid—maybe they put on a few pounds, look healthy, everything seems great for a minute—but then life hits them with one little setback and they're right back to their old crew and those old habits.

I’m not saying everyone is like that, but man, so many people end up sliding right back into the cycle...back to the drugs, back to rehab, just spinning in this endless loop while the years slip away and their lives pass by in treatment centers.

At some point, you really have to stop and ask yourself: Is it actually worth spending your whole life with someone like that, just holding onto this tiny hope that they might eventually turn into a stable person?

But hey, why don't you go verify it yourself instead of just taking some random guy from down the street at face value! 😉

Kenneth Brooks9 said:Most people here probably agree with you—that his head is just spinning with how he’s gonna relapse again—but I’m not so sure. He’s actually been clean from heroin for six months now. His biggest mess-up is the needle addiction; he’s still shooting up even when he's on meth. In these last three years, he’s only touched heroin a handful of times—though, yeah, when he does, he gets hooked fast. It’s really the needle that’s killing him.

It's pretty obvious you're still pretty young and haven't seen how this works yet. 🙂

Look, honey, heroin is his number one priority, regardless of all those empty promises he’s feeding you... addicts are world-class liars... whatever comes out of their mouths is usually a fabrication...

To him, those other drugs are just a backup plan for when he can't get to his "princess," aka the heroin.

If you honestly believe he's been off heroin for six months while he's still shooting up, then you are being seriously naive! 👎

You’re more than grown enough to make the right call here.

Honestly, if you actually care about your own mental health, my advice is to just cut ties and run the other way.

If you're sitting there hoping he'll suddenly turn into a better person, I hate to break it to you, but you're just digging your own grave at this point.

Breaking away from someone like that is a massive uphill battle, and let's be real—trying to fix them usually ends up leaving you pretty wrecked.

In my book, you definitely don't deserve a guy like that in your life! 😉

Kenneth Brooks9 said:This is exactly what I was terrified would happen... Everyone keeps telling me the same thing... But somehow, he still pulls me back in—just like how Heroin pulls him under. It’s hard to even put into words, honestly. The whole thing is just... weird. But I guess there's really only one move left. Pack my bags and get the hell out of here before I lose my mind. 😢

Just looking at your handle, I get the feeling you're a pretty well-raised girl, and honestly, seeing you with a guy like that feels a bit surreal because you don't exactly strike me as someone who grew up on the rough streets... am I hitting the mark there?
People like you often find themselves drawn to bad boys because they seem so edgy and cool, and that sense of danger is magnetic... but trust me, it's usually just a passing phase. To anyone watching from the outside, it's obvious you two aren't a match, but when you're head over heels, you're basically living in your own little movie bubble.

Your parents probably have no clue who you're hanging out with, and even if they did, they wouldn't be able to stop you. They've lived longer, they're more mature, and they can see exactly how much trouble you're heading into because of him... it's really just a matter of time before things hit the fan.

Maybe there's hope for him, but only if he actually wants it... nobody else can force that change.

The biggest issue with people like that is that as soon as life gets heavy, they immediately reach back for those old habits. 👎

Girl, I’m telling you, I’m worried you’re just wasting your precious time here.

Don't let your best years slip away hanging onto a total loser...it honestly isn't worth the heartbreak. ☕

btw, he doesn't actually love you—he's addicted to Heroin, and that's just stronger than any feeling he has for a person...he's really hit rock bottom.
You wouldn't believe the kind of nonsense that pops up in Canada sometimes. 😕

So, Mustafa Cerić actually suggested implementing Sharia law over in Canada! 🤣🤣

I mean, seriously... when I heard that, I couldn't help but just crack up.

Maybe one day it'll happen, but only in some weird sci-fi movie set there... who knows, maybe they'll even snag an Oscar for it. ☕
Sharia law doesn't belong anywhere... just total nonsense...

I mean, let's stop pretending we're living in some perfect multicultural utopia when we all know which places actually follow Sharia and which ones don't.

Seriously though... what kind of nonsense is this even supposed to be?👎
Bryan Palmer3, we all love you here on the forum. 😍

Just don't come crashing into our DMs out of nowhere, what's gotten into you?

You're sharp and you've got a good head on your shoulders, so don't let anything get under your skin!👍

San Francisco folks better enjoy it while it lasts...

You guys should probably take a peek over at Europe too...it's about time...

btw. That Navy cheering was honestly kind of lame...☕

Give me one example of a post you've made. Just one. Any of them.☕

Do I have the right to celebrate beating our biggest rival? Yeah, I definitely do...

So, just keep it down, alright?👍

Ferdibrand Boffin and Veko32.

The bans they hand out here are honestly such a joke... if you even breathe a word against Mamić or Real Madrid, boom, you’re gone. It’s ridiculous.🤣

You're just trolling at this point... one minute it's this, then it's that...🤷
Scott Harris7 said:Truth hurts, doesn't it?😉😁

I mean, you clearly know way more than the rest of us... I'm sure there's some huge cosmic reason why they got banned...😂😂
Scott Harris7 said:When you run out of actual arguments, you resort to insults. It really just speaks volumes about your intellectual level.☕

Look, I’ve got a solid circle of friends—we're talking PhDs, big-shot CEOs from companies like JPMorgan, surgeons, lawyers, engineers... we always have plenty to talk about, and honestly, none of them would ever turn down a coffee or a beer with me.

Man, you're just a total mess... I wouldn't wish your life on anyone. You could have a hundred degrees to your name, but I'd still rather live one day in your shoes than spend an entire year being you.😂

Ferret, I'm telling you again... there's something seriously wrong with you. You're a lost cause.👎
Go get some help, seriously...

You’re basically making clones at this point because you clearly can't stop yourself from saying something stupid every single time you open your mouth...

There is something seriously wrong with your head...you know what I mean?👎
I honestly feel bad for guys like granitefalcon26... man, he’s got so many deep-seated complexes eating him alive from the inside out, it’s actually wild... looking down on a woman just because she chooses to be a stay-at-home mom is straight-up toxic...

In every single thread, he’s acting like the smartest guy in the room... some big-shot intellectual with a PhD...🤣

Just imagine being stuck at a dinner party with someone like that, having to sit through him bragging about his Ivy League degree and how brilliant he is... he treats everyone like they're beneath him, claiming he only hangs out with "high-level professionals" because anyone else isn't worth his time for a conversation...

Honestly, this guy is a textbook case for a therapist...😂

Good for his mom, though—she really raised a genius over there... absolutely bursting with all that brainpower...🤣
