Look, just burn those tracks onto an MP3 disc and call it a day. You’ll be able to cram way more songs onto a single disc that way... hehe... And trying to turn an MP3 into high-fidelity audio to somehow "improve" the quality? Hmm... you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
So, I’m thinking about picking up this HD 4670 512MB GDDR3 Turbo. I saw some shots online and honestly, it looks pretty slick—plus, it seems like it might have a bit more kick than the standard version. Does anyone know if I can actually find this at a local Best Buy or maybe through Amazon? And what kind of damage is it going to do to my wallet? Thanks, everyone!
Hey everyone, just thought I’d jump in here. I was wondering if anyone knows if it's actually possible to overclock an x1550 256MB? Honestly, I'm just looking for a temporary boost while I'm grinding through GTA IV, just until I can scrape together enough cash for a decent upgrade. It runs, sure, but I'm sitting below 25fps, which is basically a slideshow. I’m really hoping there's some kind of software-based overclocking tool within Windows—something where I can just dial it up for a gaming session and then instantly revert back to stock settings once I'm done. Thanks. If you have any ideas, maybe shoot me a PM with the specific program names and direct links if you can.
Alright, here’s the deal. I dug through the old CD that came with my motherboard and found some utility meant for CPU overclocking. I got it installed and gave it a shot, but every time I crank things up, the software shows the CPU temperature spiking—though it never actually crosses 45°C. The weird part is the voltage reading: it hits 1.85V and the text turns bright red. Sometimes the voltage stays totally steady, and other times it just goes absolutely wild. What am I looking at here?
I don't know what you guys are thinking about ----- if you just want a modded computer, honestly, just smash it with a two-pound hammer like I did. If there are removable panels, TAKE THEM OFF. Then just shove four green neon tubes inside. I don't have a photo because my last setup was black with silver accents. I ended up using a hammer to punch holes in the front and top since I couldn't get the panels off. Just make sure everything stays within the original dimensions.
